1st April 1896: Samuel Gbadebo Adegboyega is born in Owu, Ogun State of Nigeria. Samuel Adegboyega was the first territorial chairman of the Lagos and Western/Northern Areas Territory (LAWNA) field of The Apostolic Church Nigeria.

1st April: Isaac Adewale Oke is born. He is the first biological son of Bishop Francis Wale Oke and Senior Pastor, House of Wonders, Swords of the Spirit Ministries.

1st April 1989: The Latter Rain Assembly now known as The Citadel Global Community Church is founded by Pastor Tunde Bakare on his resignation from being a resident pastor of the first model parish at the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
