1st December 2006: The debut edition of ‘The Experience’ holds at The Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, Nigeria with 70,000 people in attendance. The Experience is an annual Interdenominational Gospel Music concert convened by Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on The Rock Church featuring globally recognized Gospel Music ministers from across the Globe. It is one of the biggest music events in Africa.

1st December 1973: ‘Pastor’ Benson Idahosa lays the foundation of the Miracle Center at Airport Road, Benin City. The 4000 capacity Miracle Centre which was the Headquarters of Church of God Mission International until 1986 when the Faith Arena was built, was completed and dedicated in 1975.

1st December 2013: Dominion City Cathedral, the National Headquarters of Livingspring Chapel International is dedicated at the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Ministry. Dominion City Cathedral is a 10,000 seating capacity auditorium located at Aduloju Bus-Stop, Iwo road, Ojoo Expressway Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria. LivingSpring Chapel International was founded by Pastor Femi Emmanuel in 1993 in Ibadan, Nigeria.

1st December 2022: His Eminence, Prelate Oliver Ali Aba begins tenure as the 4th Prelate of The Methodist Church of Nigeria.

1st December 2013: Godfrey Okoye University (GOU) commences a week-long programme of activities to celebrate its maiden Convocation Ceremony. Godfrey Okoye University was pioneered by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu.
