1st September, 1996: David’s Christian Center is established. David’s Christian Centre was founded by Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo.

1st September 1986: WOFBI is 37!!! Living Faith World Outreach Center establishes the Word of Faith Bible Institute to train ministers from within and outside the Ministry as well as Christians from all walks of life. Today, WOFBI runs across many nations of the world and has trained well over 200,000 students including Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Founder and Senior Pastor, Salvation Ministries Home of Salvation. Others include Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, Bishop Wisdom Irabor and many others.

1st September, 2013: Most Reverend, Dr. Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche, the then Archbishop of Enugu is elected the new Prelate of Methodist Church Nigeria to take over from His Eminence Sunday Olatunji Amos Makinde.

1st September, 1872: Florence Crawford is born. She is the founder of the Apostolic Faith work in Portland, Oregon

29th September 2016: Bishop Oyedepo returns from his 10 day missionary trip to USA, marking the first time he will be absent from Canaanland on a Sunday in the year 2016, the first time since August 2013 and the 5th time since September 1999. This also marks his last international trip before God instructed him in 2017 never to leave Nigeria until instructed otherwise

1st September 1973: The first issue of Believer’s Voice of Victory magazine by Kenneth Copeland Ministries was published as a four-page newsletter and distributed to about 3,000 people.
