11th August 1993: Carissa Sharon Frimpong (Née Oyakhilome) is born in England, United Kingdom. She is a Gospel Music Minister and the biological daughter of Reverend Chris Oyakhilome of LoveWorld Nation.

11th August 1933: Jerry Laymon Falwell is born. He was the Founder of Thomas Road Baptist Church in Virginia, United States of America. He also founded Lynchburg Christian Academy (now Liberty Christian Academy) in 1967 and Liberty University in 1971.

    11th August 1778: Augustus Montague Toplady goes to be with the Lord. He was an Anglican Minister and hymn writer. His popular hymn is: “Rock of Ages Cleft For Me”. Other hymns written by him are: “Christ To Know Is Life And Peace.” “All Glory And Praise To The Ancient Of Days” and “A Debtor To Mercy Alone” among others.
