11th October 1928: Joseph Ayodele Babalola is called to ministry by the Lord. Apostle Babalola’s call to ministry subsequently led to the 1930 revival. Apostle Ayo Babalola was the Great Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C.).  

11th October 2005: Redeemer’s University takes off at the temporary site in the Redemption Camp. The University took off with 478 students. Redeemer’s University is a Christian Private University owned and run by the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

11th October 1964: Baptist Students Union which is now Baptist Students Fellowship (BSF) was established at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). This was the second campus where the Fellowship was established after the University of Ibadan. 

11th October 1531: Ulrich Zwingli goes to be with the Lord. He was a leader of the Reformation in Switzerland.
