15th December 2019: Pastor Enoch Adeboye declares at the 2019 Holy Ghost Congress that Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will soon build a camp as big as Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria. The Congress was tagged: ‘The Great Turn Around’. The Campground and International Headquarters of the Church known as Redemption Camp (Now Redemption City) is the largest single private property in the World with about 45,000 acres as of 2015. Reports have it that the property has virtually doubled in the last 8 years.
15th December 2009: Oral Roberts goes to be with the Lord at the age of 91. He was the Founder of Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and Oral Roberts University.
15th December 2013: Streams of Joy International, led by Pastor Jerry Eze holds her first Church service. This was after she completed the building of her Church auditorium located at Kilometer 4 Ikot-Ekpene Road Umuahia, Abia State Nigeria. In 2008, the Church operated as a fellowship with 7 members and has grown into thousands of members and many branches within and outside Nigeria.
15th December 1949: Yesufu Ameh Obaje is born in Kogi State, Nigeria. He served as a president of Nigeria Baptist Convention from 2003 to 2005 and a president of the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary Ogbomoso, Oyo State Nigeria from 1993 to 2003. He also served as Chaplain at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa and by extension, Chaplain to the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 1999 to 2005.
