15th January 1995: The African Gospel Invasion Programme (AGIP) commences her first phase in six African countries – Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Congo. AGIP is one of the missionary endeavours of the Living Faith Church Worldwide.

15th January 1955: Oral Roberts returns to Tulsa, Oklahoma after a month-long trip to Jordan, the Middle East and South Africa, converting 30,000 people in Johannesburg, South Africa.

15th January 1929: Martin Luther King Jr. Is born in Atlanta. He was a Baptist Minister, activist and America’s civil rights leader from 1955 until his assassination in 1968.

15th January 1559: Elizabeth I is crowned Queen of England in Westminster Abbey. Upon assuming the throne, Queen Elizabeth I restored England to Protestantism. This was contrary to the policy of her predecessor and half-sister, Queen Mary I, a Catholic monarch who tried to eliminate Protestantism from English society. Queen Elizabeth I established the Church of England in 1559.
