18th July 1999: Bishop David Oyedepo’s “Two Months Too Much” Encounter. About two months to the proposed dedication of Faith Tabernacle, the roof was not yet fixed. Bishop Oyedepo while in a hotel in Kano had an encounter with God: “It took Me six days to create the entire world, I will not need 2 months to finish an ordinary building. Two months, too much.”
True to that encounter, Faith Tabernacle was dedicated on 18th September 1999.

18th July 1959: Gomba Fortune Oyor is born. He was the Founder of God Will Do It Ministries, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria who went to be with the Lord on 7th August 2020.

18th July 1961: Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba is born. He is the current Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion).

18th July 2010: Pastor Ituah Ighodalo inaugurates the Trinity House, a 5,000-capacity sanctuary at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos State Nigeria.

18th July 1951: Bill Johnson is born. He is the Senior Leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California.

18th July 64 AD: Christians are persecuted over a false allegation in Rome as a result of the Great Fire of Rome which destroyed two-thirds of Rome on this day. To direct suspicion away from himself, young Emperor Nero blames the City’s Christians.

18th July 1504: Henry Bullinger is born in Switzerland. He was Ulrich Zwingli’s successor as chief pastor of Zurich.
