19th July 1989: The Lagos Invasion Mandate is delivered to Bishop David Oyedepo. In his words “…the Lord spoke to me…’Arise, get down to Lagos and raise Me a people.’
I tried blocking off the voice, but it kept coming repeatedly and persistently, ‘Arise get down to Lagos and raise Me a people.’ I tried to ring it off…and yet it won’t go. It kept ringing… by 2pm of the same day, I had to dispatch a staff to Lagos in search of facilities for the Church offices, staff housing, etc. Then I had rest.”
The First Sunday Service at 1 New Era Road, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos on 24th September 1989 had 250 people. Today, there are over 2000 zonal centres (mini churches) in Lagos, Nigeria.

19th July 1984: Kemi Olude is born in Harare, Zimbabwe. She is the founder of Crisis Proof Your Family and the wife of Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr, the Resident Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Canaanland, Living Faith Church Worldwide.


19th July 2022: Bishop David Abioye, The Second Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide welcomes his first grandchild. Daniel and Temilola Abioye were blessed with their first child, Gideon Abioye.


19th July 1980: Ibidun Ighodalo is born. She was the wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the Founder of Trinity House Church who went to be with the Lord on the 14th June 2020.

19th July 2011: Unuakemony Ighodalo is born. She is the daughter of Pastor Ituah and Ibidun Ighodalo, the Founder of Trinity House Church.

19th July 1848: More than 300 men and women assemble in the Wesleyan Chapel at Seneca Falls, New York, for the First Formal Convention to discuss “the social, civil and religious condition and the rights of women.” The event has been called the birthplace of the Women’s Rights Movement.
