2nd April 1959: Pastor Wole Oladiyun is born. He is the Senior Pastor of Christ Living Spring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM).

2nd April 1967: The Dedication Ceremony of Oral Roberts University is held in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Billy Graham as the main speaker.

2nd April 1914:Â Three Hundred largely Caucasian Pentecostals who had broken out of the Church of God in Christ meet at the Grand Opera House in Hot Springs, Arkansas for a ten-day conference. At the end of this conference, the World Assemblies of God Fellowship which is Pentecostalism’s largest denomination was birthed.

2nd April 1739: John Wesley preaches for the first time in the open air to miners at Kingswood, England after he was shut out of Anglican pulpits. John Wesley led many to Christ by preaching to tens of thousands of people at a time in open air meetings.

2nd April 2005: Pope John Paul II (Karol Józef Wojtyła) passes on. He was the head of the Catholic Church from 1978 till 2005.

2nd April 1963: Reverend Mother Abimbola Esther Ajayi is born. She is the Founder of Love of Christ Generation Church.

2nd April 1877:Â Mordecai Ham is born in Allen County, Kentucky. He was an American Baptist Evangelist. He led Billy Graham to Christ in 1934.

2nd April 1952: Samuel Marinus Zwemer passes on to glory in New York City. He was an American Missionary to the Muslim Middle East and founder of The National Evangelical Church of Bahrain.
