2nd March 1942: Enoch Adejare Adeboye is born at Ifewara in the present day Osun State to his parents Pa Moses and Ma Esther Adeboye. Pastor E. A. Adeboye is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

2 March 1791: John Wesley passes on to glory in London. He was Founder of Methodism.

2 March 1972 : Foundation laying of the Great Tabernacle of the Apostolic Faith Church is done at Anthony Village campground by Reverend Timothy Gbadebo Oshokoya of blessed memory. The structure was completed 9 years later in 1981 at just over N2 million (about £2 million at the time).

2nd March, 2022: Rev. Ogbueli Ogbueli donates medical equipment, hospital beds, refurbished toilet facilities to his alma-mater, University of Nigeria Nsukka. Rev. David Ogbueli is the Founder of Dominion City Church.
