2nd November 1980: Pa Josiah Akindayomi passes on to glory. Pa Josiah Akindayomi is the Founder of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.

2nd November 1986: The Faith Arena of Church of God Mission International Headquarters at G.R.A, Upper Adesuwa, Benin City, Nigeria is dedicated by Archbishop Benson Idahosa. The vision for the project to build a ‘stadium like Church’ was received in 1983 while the Archbishop was in Australia. The Church building was the largest church auditorium in Nigeria at the time with about 7,000 at maximum capacity.

2nd November 2019: Joshua Mike Bamiloye weds Tolulope Odesola. Joshua Mike Bamiloye aka Jay-Mikee is the second son of Mike Bamiloye, the Founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries and Tolulope Odesola is the second daughter of Pastor J.F. Odesola, the Continental Overseer (South West, Nigeria and Middle East) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

2nd November 2016: Anchor University is approved by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC). Pastor William Kumuyi led Deeper Christian Life Ministries are the proprietors of Anchor University.

2nd November 1918: Oretha Hagin is born. She was the wife of Kenneth Erwin Hagin.
