20th July 2022: Pastors Enoch and Folu Adeboye dedicate Enoch and Folu Adeboye Dialysis Centre in Anambra State, Nigeria in commemoration of RCCG’s 70th anniversary.

20th July 2009: Bishop David Oyedepo preaches at the City of Monrovia, Liberia; over 14,000 people gave their lives to Christ in a 2-day outreach and over 31,000 people filled a 20,000-capacity stadium. This led to the unceremonious departure of the “Queen of Sheba” from Liberia.

The Bishop made a declaration on one of the evenings of the crusade: “Cast the devil out of Liberia for prosperity” and the next day, she left the Country. She lodged in the same hotel where the Bishop was and as he stepped in, she packed out without the hotel authorities knowing.

20th July 1926: Convention of the Methodist Church votes to allow women to become priests. Women were later given full clergy rights in the Methodist Church in 1956.

20th July 1877: Jesse Irvin Overholtzer is born. He was the Founder of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), the largest evangelistic outreach to children in the World.

20th July 2022: 30 unknown ‘bishops’ and ‘clergymen’ appear at the Unveiling Ceremony of Senator Kashim Shettima, the Running Mate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) dissociated itself from these ‘bishops’. The Tinubu Campaign Organization however refuted claims that the ‘bishops’ were ‘fake’ and said they were ‘still upcoming bishops’. None of the ‘bishops’ has been identified until now.
