21st December 1807: John Newton goes to be with the Lord. He was an Anglican Clergyman and hymn Writer. He wrote the famous hymns “Amazing Grace” and “Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken”.
21st December 1870: The Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in America appoints its first two Bishops. The elected Bishops were William Henry Miles and Richard H. Vanderhorst.
21st December 1992: Reverend Joshua Talena is commissioned to ministry. He is the Senior Pastor of Shepherd’s House International also known as Agape Power Assembly.
