22nd August 2015: The Headquarters Cathedral of Archbishop John Osa-Ani led Vineyard Christian Ministries is dedicated. The 7,500 seating capacity Cathedral built along Osolo Way, International Airport Road, Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos State was dedicated by Bishop Mike Okonkwo.

22nd August 2001: Bowen University inaugurates the first Provisional Governing Council of the University and Professor J. T. Okedara is appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of the University. Bowen University is a private university pioneered by the Nigerian Baptist Convention in Iwo, Osun State of Nigeria.
