22nd December 2008: Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsegbubemi Oritsejafor (Also known as Pa Ayo Oritsejafor) is conferred as an Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR), one of the Nigerian National Honours at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church located in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.
22nd December 2008: Prelate Emeritus Dr. Sunday Olatunji Amos Makinde, the second Prelate, Methodist Church Nigeria is awarded and decorated Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Alhaji Umar Musa Yar’Adua.
