He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church located in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.
22nd December 2008: Prelate Emeritus Dr. Sunday Olatunji Amos Makinde, the second Prelate, Methodist Church Nigeria is awarded and decorated Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Alhaji Umar Musa Yar’Adua.
