24th May 1987: Living Faith Church Worldwide begins Church Planting endeavour in Maiduguri, Biu, Azare, Mubi and Bauchi. This was after Bishop Oyedepo received an instruction from God “It is time to spread out” that came during Easter Faith Convention in April 1987. Notably, Pastor (now Bishop) David Abioye was deployed to plant the Church in Maiduguri.

24th May 1983: Archbishop Dr. Margaret Benson Idahosa is ordained into ministry. She is the Archbishop of the Church of God Mission International. She is also the Chancellor of Benson Idahosa University and the first female Archbishop in Africa.

24th May 1960: Pastor Dele Bamgboye is born. He is the Senior Pastor of Highflyers Christian Centre headquartered in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

24th May 2015: Kingsley Okonkwo, the founding Pastor of David’s Christian Center, rewards Josephine Ugwu for her honesty. Josephine was the airport cleaner who returned the sum of N12 million Naira she found while on duty at the Murtala Mohammed Airport.

24th May 1858: William H. Clarke leaves Ijaye Orile for the USA. He never returned after he left and later passed on to glory in 1871 at the age of 42. He was a Baptist Missionary who arrived in Ijaye Orile to join Reverend Thomas Jefferson Bowen on 29th September 1854.
