25th April 1904: Joseph Ayodele Babalola is born. He was the arrowhead of Oke Ooye Revival and one of the early leaders of The Apostolic Church in Nigeria. He later became one of the founding fathers and the first General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC). He was instrumental in the choice of name, ‘CAC.’ He passed on to glory aged 55.

25th April 1985: Pastor David Olaniyi Oyedepo Publishes and releases his first two books, ‘The Miracle Seed’ and ‘The Law of Faith’. (Now) Bishop David Oyedepo has published over 100 books.

25th April 1967: Twin sisters, Jane and Joy Ihegie are born. Pastor Jane (Jane Pela) is the wife of Pastor Omar Pela, the Senior Pastor of The Grace Trybe Lagos while Pastor Joy (Amenkiehnan) is the Director, International Missions, Southeast Asia, Northern Region 1 and Middle-belt Region, Nigeria of Christ Embassy Church and wife to Rev. Tom Amenkiehnan.

25th April 1735: Samuel Wesley passes on to glory. He was a clergyman of the Church of England, author and the Father of Methodist revival leaders, John and Charles Wesley. He was aged 72.

25th April 1979: Revd Dr. S. T. Ola Akande is elected as the third Nigerian to occupy the office of the General Secretary of the Nigerian Baptist Convention. He occupied the position for 12 years.
