27th March 1911: Asa Alonso Allen, famously known as A. A. Allen is born in Arkansas, USA. He was an American Pentecostal Evangelist known for his faith, healing and deliverance ministry. He passed on to glory aged 59.

27th March 2013: Justice Mobolaji Ojo of Ogun High Court, Ota dismisses suit filed by 20-year-old Longji Felix Vwamhi, a 400 level student of the Information and Communication Technology Department of Covenant University, challenging the institution over his expulsion for being in possession of pornographic materials in his laptop. The case was dismissed for lack of merit.

27th March 1969: Pastor Ndidi Osakwe is born. She is the wife of Pastor Andy Osakwe, the Founder of Summit Bible Church. She is also the President of Winning Women Fellowship.
