28th March 1937: Billy Graham gets his first opportunity to preach when his teacher John Minder unexpectedly assigns him the Easter evening sermon. Billy Graham (of blessed memory) later became a well-known evangelist who preached to millions of people in his evangelistic crusades across the Globe and led many to Christ.
28th March 2023: The Evangelical Association of Malawi commences a three days crusade in Lilongwe, Malawi tagged ‘Divine Encounter’ with Pastor Enoch Adeboye as Guest Minister.
28th March 2024: A Global Crusade and Easter Retreat is hosted by Pastor Dr W.F. Kumuyi with the theme “The All-Sufficient Jesus.” The retreat lasted for six (6) days.
28th March 2000: David Cho Evangelistic Mission (DCEM) is founded. It is an organization set up to plan and support Dr. Yonggi Cho’s International Ministry.
28th March 1929: Frederick Brotherton (F.B.) Meyer goes to be with the Lord. He was a Baptist pastor and evangelist and a dear friend of D.L. Moody. He was aged 81.
