28th November 2023: Bishop David Oyedepo officially releases his Son, Pastor Isaac Oyedepo and Wife, Ayomitide, to start a new Ministry, The Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries (TIOEM). The three expressions of TIOEM are Kingdom Come Crusades, Ignite and Awaken.

28th November 1628: English preacher John Bunyan is born. He was a Christian Author of over 60 books. He was imprisoned for 12 years for preaching the Gospel and protesting against the suppression of preaching by the then Church of England. He wrote quite a number of books including his most popular book “The Pilgrim’s Progress” while in prison. He passed on to glory at the age of 60.

28th November 2010: Christian Teaching Center acquires landed property in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria where her Headquarter Church auditorium is pressntly located. It is a 4,000 seater capacity auditorium known as the ‘Revival Dome’ and idedicated on 13th November, 2021. Christian Teaching Center was founded by Reverend Dr. John Esuga Akpami.

28th November 2008: Christians and their properties in Jos, Nigeria are attacked by Muslims leaving 6 pastors dead, at least 5000 other people killed and 40 Churches destroyed. The violence was triggered by the disputed electoral results where the Christian-supported party won 16 out of 17 local governments, whereas their Muslim counterparts won one. The political dispute soon took on religious overtones, with sporadic clashes between rival supporters escalating into running battles between the Muslims and the Christians and this led to the outbreak of the violence perpetrated by the Muslim group. The violence was concentrated in certain areas in Jos North Local Government Area. Markets, Churches and houses were all targeted and set ablaze. This act lasted for 2 days as the military intervened and restored peace.

28th November 1960: Vanessa Renee Williams is born. She is an anointed and gifted American Gospel artiste, a professional painter and illustrator. She started singing at the young age of 12. She recorded her first solo “Goin’ up Yonder” at the age of 15. Her debut album “Vanessa” was released in 2002 and it made it to the top ten of Billboard Magazine’s Gospel Albums Chart. She is a proud mother of one daughter.
