28th December 2010: The Elevation Church, Nigeria is commissioned by Reverend Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Center. The Church was founded by Pastor Godman Akinlabi after previously serving at Daystar Christian Centre. Today, the Elevation Church Nigeria has branches across Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, London, Manchester, Houston and Toronto.
28th December 2011: Oluwagbemileke Adeboye weds Titilope Rachel Odesola. Leke Adeboye is the last child and Senior Personal Assistant to Pastor E. A. Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and Titilope Odesola is the first daughter of Pastor J.F. Odesola, an Assistant General Overseer of the RCCG.
28th December 1973: Godman Akinlabi is born. He is the Lead Pastor of Elevation Church, Nigeria.Â
28th December 2022: The RCCG provides the Doka Community in Birshi Ward in the Bauchi Local Government Area of Bauchi State with their first borehole after 50 years of being created through RCCG’s Christian Social Responsibility (CSR).
28th December 1958: Pastor Inalegwu Omakwu is born. He was the Founder of Family Worship Centre and Royal Family Academy, Abuja. He passed on to glory on the 25th of February 2003.
28th December 1932: Dr. Christopher Kolade is born. He pioneered ‘Managing Business for Christ’, a platform for bringing business people and business practices in alignment with the principles of Jesus Christ. He is a member of the Anglican Communion and also the Founder of the Christopher Kolade Foundation (CKF).
