28th January 2002: The foundation stone of the 75,000 capacity International Worship Centre (Faith City Tabernacle) at the Igbesa campground of The Apostolic Faith Church, Nigeria is laid by Reverend Darrell Lee (then Superintendent General of The Apostolic Faith Church). The campground was named Faith City by then Africa Overseer, Reverend Paul Ogechukwu Akazue, It is the conference centre for West and Central Africa of The Apostolic Faith Mission and also the site of Crawford University.



28th January 2000: Babcock University founded by the Seventh Day Adventist Church holds her first matriculation ceremony. The event was presided by the then Vice Chancellor to the University and World leader of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Jan Paulsen.
