29th April 2017: Pastor Gabriel Olutola retires as the 2nd National President of The Apostolic Church, Nigeria. He was the first person to simultaneously hold the post of president of The Apostolic Church and Chair, Lagos Western and Northern Areas (LAWNA). He also served as Chancellor of Samuel Adegboyega University.

29th April 2022: Bishop Peter Awelewa Adebiyi is laid to rest. He was the Pioneer Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos West, Anglican Communion (1999 – 2013) and a former Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Owo, Ondo State. He passed on to glory on 10th February 2022.

29th April 1866: Imad-ud-din converts from Islam to Christianity in India. He was an Islamic writer, preacher and Quranic translator.

29th April 1607: English settlers establish the First Anglican Church in the American colonies at Cape Henry, Virginia.

29th April 1882: John Nelson Darby passes on to glory. He was a Biblical Scholar and Founder of the Plymouth Brethren.

29th April 1749: John Philip Boehm passes on to glory. He was the Founder of the German Reformed Church in the United States of America.
