29th June 1950: Donald James Moen popularly known as Don Moen is born. He is an American Gospel Music Minister and songwriter.

29th June 2014: The Covenant Nation formerly, The Covenant Christian Centre opens and dedicates their headquarter Church in Yaba, Lagos. The Covenant Nation was founded by Pastor Poju Oyemade.

29th June 1864: Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther becomes the first African to be consecrated by the Church Missionary Society as Bishop of the Niger territory.

29th June 1929: Charles Fox Parnham passed on to glory. He was an American Preacher and Evangelist whom together with William J. Seymour, was one of the two central figures in the development and early spread of American Pentecostalism.
