3rd December 2017: Prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara celebrates his 75th birthday and retirement as General Evangelist Worldwide of Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C.). The occasion had Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God and the then Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osibanjo amongst other notable dignitaries in attendance. He was the General Evangelist Worldwide of Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C.) from 2007 to 2017.

3rd December 1952: Benedictus Toufik Hinn (popularly known as Benny Hinn) is born. He is the Founder of Benny Hinn Ministries. He is also a Televangelist and Author.

3rd December 1968: Goodheart Ekwueme is born. He is the Founder of Horn of Revival Ministry and Revival House of Glory International Church.

3rd December 2023: Pastor (Dr.) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh is inducted at the National Temple of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, LAWNA Territory. He is the 6th Chairman of The Apostolic Church Nigeria LAWNA Territory and the National Vice President of The Apostolic Church Nigeria.

3rd December 1987: Rhema Chapel International Churches commences regular services a few days after the Church was officially inaugurated on the 29th of November 1987 at the then Katola Nursery and Primary School Tanke, Ilorin, Kwara State of Nigeria. Rhema Chapel International Churches was founded by Reverend George Adegboyega.

3rd December 2017: Nigerian Gospel Music Veteran, Panam Percy Paul and Ron Kenoly hold a Live Recording Concert tagged ‘The Power of Love’ in support of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Orphans.

3rd December 2020: The Methodist Church Nigeria invests the first indigenous Bishop in the North East, The Right Reverend Dr. John Shettima.
