3rd September, 1983: Sword of The Spirit Ministries is officially commissioned. Sword of The Spirit Ministries was founded by Bishop Wale Oke.

3rd September, 1988: Pastor Adeboye inaugurates the Redeemed Christian Fellowship (RCF). Redeemed Christian Fellowship is the Students’ fellowship arm of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in campuses of tertiary institutions.

3rd September, 2017: The book “I Almost Ruined My Marriage” written by Pastor Eno Jerry is launched. It is a true story about her journey in marriage. The book highlights the challenges she faced in the early years of her marriage with Pastor Jerry Eze.

3rd September, 2016: Pastor Isaac Adewale Oke is ordained as pastor by his parents, Bishop Wale and Pastor (Mrs) Victoria Oke with Bishop David Oyedepo. Pastor Isaac Adewale Oke is the Son of Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the founder and presiding Bishop of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries, a.k.a Christ Life Church, 15,000 capacity headquarters church, Ibadan, Nigeria.

3rd September, 2022: The 40th Edition of the Holy Ghost Convention of Sword of Spirit Ministries begins. It featured Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo and others as Guest Ministers at the University of Ibadan.

3rd September, 1939: Evangelist W. E. Biederwolf passes on to glory. He was an American Presbyterian Evangelist who had been Director of the Winona Lake Bible School of Theology and Founder and General Director of the Family Altar League.
