30 August, 2020: Living Faith Church Worldwide plants 535 churches in one day as part of efforts to plant 10,000 churches in one year.

30th August 1960: Pastor Sarah Olubi-Johnson is born. She is the wife of Pastor Olubi Johnson, Founder/Setman of Scripture Pasture Christian Centre Ibadan, Nigeria.

30th August, 2021: Pastor Kenneth Copeland sends his private jet to evacuate Christians trapped in Afghanistan to rescue them from being killed by the Taliban. The Taliban are a predominantly Pashtun, Islamic fundamentalist group that returned to power in Afghanistan in 2021 after waging a twenty-year insurgency against United States troops.

30 August, 1980: Brother David Oyedepo while studying the Bible along with the book, “7 Keys To Divine Healing” by Kenneth E. Hagin encounters light (depths of understanding) in divine healing and reported not needing any form of medical/hospital treatment for at least 29 years (2009) from the day of the encounter.

30 August, 1856: The Methodist Episcopal Church establishes Wilberforce College (now, Wilberforce University) in western Ohio. It was the second American institution of higher learning established for black students.
