31st May, 1987: Love Ogah (nee Oyedepo) is born. She is the first biological daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo and the wife of Pastor Steve Ogah (National Youth Pastor) of the Living Faith Church, Worldwide.

31st May: Blessed Uzochikwa is born. He is the Resident Pastor of The Waterbroook Church (TWB), Lekki, Lagos and the husband of Nigerian Gospel Minister, Mercy Chinwo.

31st May, 2007: The Billy Graham Library is dedicated in North Carolina. The ceremony had in attendance three former Presidents of the United States – Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton – with President Bush delivering the keynote address. The Library was built to preserve the legacy of Billy Graham and to share his story with future generations. It is also a place where people can come to learn more about the Christian faith.

31st May, 1701: Alexander Cruden is born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He was the author of an early Bible concordance which was regarded as the largest task of manual compilation ever undertaken by one man. He passed on to glory in 1770 aged 69.

31st May, 1843: Methodist Elder, Orange Scott presides over a convention assembled at Utica, New York, to establish a new church, known as the Wesleyan Methodist Connection. The reason being that the Methodist Episcopal Church was willing to compromise on issues such as slavery, Church government and interpretations of the doctrine of sanctification but these Methodists were not.
