24th March 1984: Bishop Oyedepo receives divine revelation on the Mystery of Church Growth through four instructions. The instructions are:

  1. You must pray against the gates of hell
  2. You must be on the go (Evangelism)
  3. Keep sowing the seed by life applicable teachings
  4. Keep the grass green (keep the Word fresh)

24th March 1981: Bolaji Idowu is born in Abeokuta, Ogun State of Nigeria. Pastor Idowu is the Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center Lagos and Convener, Next Level Prayers.

24th March 1983: Oluwadamilola Oluwatoyinbo is born. He is the Lead Pastor of Kingdom Influencers in Nations, Generations and Systems (KINGS) in Lagos, Nigeria.

24th March 1981: Oklahoma State Supreme Court clears way for City of Faith to open in Tulsa, Oklahoma, overturning a lower court ruling that partially cited the constitutional provision for separation of Church and state. City of Faith was a medical and diagnostic center built by Oral Roberts. It has since been replaced by the Cityplex Towers on the grounds of Oral Roberts University.

24th March 1909: Richard Wurmbrand is born in Bucharest, Romania. He was a Lutheran Romanian minister who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ. He founded Voice of Martyrs, a magazine that gives voice to persecuted saints around the World.

24th March 1980: Archbishop Óscar Romero of El Salvador is assassinated while celebrating Mass for speaking against government oppression. He was the fourth Archbishop of San Salvador Archdiocese in El Salvador.
