4th July, 1982: The groundbreaking ceremony to initiate the construction of a new headquarters Church in Southeast Portland Oregon for the Apostolic Faith Mission is held. The site for the new building was a four-acre piece of ground.

4th July 2020: Melvin Maxwell passed on to glory aged 98. He was the sixth president of Circleville Bible College (now Ohio Christian University) and served until 1980. He is the father of John C. Maxwell, a popular American Pastor and author.

4th July, 2014: Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide Satellite Television starts broadcasting in Nigeria

4th July, 1844: Dan Beach Bradley establishes the first newspaper in Siam—the Bangkok Recorder. Dan Beach Bradly was an American Protestant Missionary to Siam, Thailand from 1835 until his passing.

4th July, 1832: The National hymn “America” is first sung in public at a children’s celebration of Independence Day, at the Park Street Church, Boston. The words had been written that February by the Rev. Samuel F. Smith and are sung to the tune of “God Save the King”.
