4th May 2014: Church Gist Facebook Page is opened. Church Gist is the first interdenominational Christian Blog from Africa. The Page has a French version as well as Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp English and French Channels and Telegram handles as well as a website.

4th May 1943: The name ‘Christ Apostolic Church’ is registered under the Lands Perpetual Succession Ordinance after several changes. The name was adopted after Apostle Joseph Babalola suggested that Christ must be included in the version of the Apostolic Church he was involved in after they had parted ways with The Apostolic Church.

4th May 1994: The Africa Gospel Invasion Programme (AGIP) of Living Faith Church Worldwide is received by Bishop David Oyedepo. God spoke to Bishop Oyedepo saying, “The harvest of Africa is over-ripe, rush in and preserve it from decadence.” The Africa Gospel Invasion Project (AGIP) was established to undertake the preservation of the harvest from decadence. The Africa Gospel Invasion Project (AGIP) was inaugurated a few days later, on 8th May 1994 and Church Missionaries moved into African nations beginning from January 1995.

4th May 2021: Pastor Dare Adeboye passes on to glory at the age of 42. He was the second biological Son of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He was a Youth Provincial Pastor in Eket, Akwa Ibom State at the time.

4th May 1923: Sir W. Robertson Nicoll passed on to glory. He was the Editor of the British journal, “The Expositor and the 50-volume Expositor’s Bible.”
