4th October 1982: The 12 Pillars of Living Faith Church Worldwide are delivered to Brother David Oyedepo. The 12 Pillars are: The Word, Faith, The Supernatural, The Holy Spirit, Prosperity, Prayer, Healing, Wisdom, Success, Vision, Consecration and Praise.

4th October 1972: Reverend Emmanuel Bolaji Idowu is elected President of the Methodist Church, Nigeria. Among his key contributions will be a revision of the Church’s constitution and making it autonomous. He also integrated the Christ Zion Methodist Church in Nigeria into the Methodist Church, Nigeria.

4th October 1883: Boys’ Brigade is Founded by Sir William Alexander Smith in Glasgow, Scotland. It is an interdenominational Christian youth organization with an objective of promoting obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect and Christian values among boys.

4th October 1981: David Oyedepo receives the divine encounter where he learned the place of responsibility in destiny. God told Him: “I will bless you, you will lend to nations but don’t let Me be slow for you, go at My pace”.

4th October 1890: Catherine Booth goes to be with the Lord. She was the wife of William Booth, the Founder of The Salvation Army. She was aged 61.

4th October 1535: The Coverdale Bible compiled by Myles Coverdale is published in Antwerp, Belgium. It was the First complete English translation of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.

4th October 1960: James MacDonald is born. He is the Founder of James MacDonald Ministries and also the host of the radio and television program, ‘Walk in the Word’.
