4th September, 1970: Pastor Korede Komaiya is born. He is Founder and Lead Pastor at The Master’s Place Church headquartered in Warri, Delta State.

4th September, 1999: Reverend Josiah Olubode Soyinka passes on to glory. He was the second African Overseer of Apostolic Faith Church.

4th September 2023: The Chancellor, Covenant University, Dr. David Oyedepo, declares open the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Africa Forum 2023 while challenging Africans in the knowledge industry to come awake and begin to chart the way forward by developing learning modules geared towards the birth of a new Africa.
