6th July 1997: Bishop David Oyedepo is instructed by God to pastor one Church in Lagos. In his words, God said “Don’t you toy with this pulpit! It is serving a generation. It is a factor for a worldwide awakening. I’ve set you as a Shepherd over a generation. As you pastor this one Church, the world will become for your Parish because I have appointed you to serve your generation. Stay over this Church with me, as we begin to reap the over ripe harvest of the world together.”

6th July 2023: Archbishop Ezekiel Guti goes to be with the Lord at the age of 100. He was the Founder and President of Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa, also known as Forward In Faith Ministries International Worldwide.

6th July 2012: Pastor Uzoamaka Connie Madubuko passed on to glory. Pastor Connie was the wife of Apostle Anselm Madubuko, the Founder of Revival Assembly.

6th July 1415: Jan Hus is bvrnt at the stake after being condemned as a heretic for his outspoken appeals for Church reform and religious rights for the common people. He was a Czech reformer and forerunner of Protestantism.
