9th April 1906: Azusa Street Revival begins in Los Angeles, California led by Holiness Minister William Joseph Seymour when speaking in tongues broke out during a service. Azusa Street Revival birthed Pentecostalism as a worldwide movement.

9th April 2013: Salem University of Salem International Christian Center (SICC) is enlisted as one of the universities accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in Lagos State Nigeria. The School is located at Lokoja, Kogi State Nigeria.

9th April 1992: Harvesthouse Christian Center (HCC) is established by Reverend Gbeminiyi Eboda. The Church began as a fellowship known as Oasis of Faith Christian Center with less than 15 members in a small room at Bolajoko Nursery and Primary School, Ibadan.

9th April 1995: Yemi Graceman Aduloju is ordained a pastor by Pastor Femi Emmanuel of Livingspring Chapel International where he served as a pastor for about 11 years. He is the Lead Pastor of Lighthouse International Christian Center.

9th April 2006: Pastor Yemi Graceman Aduloju is released by Pastor Femi Emmanuel to start a new ministry exactly 11 years after he was ordained a pastor. On 16th April 2006, he founded Lighthouse International Christian Center in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria.

9th April 1761: William Law, an English devotional writer goes to be with the Lord. His writings, such as: “A Serious Call To A Devout And Holy Life”, greatly influenced George Whitefield and John Wesley.
