God has ordained to open supernatural doors to you this year but it is premised on the fact that you keep His Word. He said “You have a little strength but you have kept my Word, so I have set before you an open door and no man can shut it.” (Revelation 3:8). Church Gist. The open door is triggered by keeping His Word and not denying His name. Not hiding out from Him. Letting the world know the one behind the scene in your life. So it is not waiting for it, it is knowing what to do to see and keep the doors open.
Though we are redeemed for the top, each one has to make His way there by following prophetic instructions. Remember the prophetic focus for the month is I AM REDEEMED FOR THE TOP (Matthew 5:14). You are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. That is where redemption has brought you and I. Joshua 1:8. Church Gist. The top is where we belong by redemption but each one has to make his way there by doing what the Word says to do. We are not waiting to get there, we are making discoveries on what to do to get there and engaging with them as you find them.
- The blood of Christ shall not be wasted in anyone’s life.
Jesus paid the price to bring you and I from the valley to the top. That blood will not be wasted. Zechariah 9:11-12. Church Gist. The blood brought us from the pit where there is no water to the mountain top.
- That blood will not be wasted in your life.
- You are coming out of every choking environment today.
Our teaching series is UNDERSTANDING THE DEMANDS OF SUCCESS 3. I said earlier that though we are redeemed for the top, each one has to make his way there by following the instructions of scriptures. Deuteronomy 28:1. Church Gist. What we do with the Word determines where He sets us, where He places us. When you embrace the instructions of scriptures, you are on your way to the top and nowhere else.
- You are getting there.
Maybe it is important to mention here that we live in a do it yourself Kingdom. People are always looking for who will do something for them. We live in a do it yourself Kingdom. God so loved the world and He gave His only begotten Son, whosoever chooses to believe in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life (John 3:16). Church Gist. No one can repent on your behalf. We live in a do it yourself Kingdom. Only those who care to take responsibility make the most of this journey. Please receive grace to take responsibility.
We had the man by the Pool of Bethesda, he was there for 38 years. They asked him why he was still there, he said there was no man. He was waiting for somebody else to take responsibility for Him. No! One can waste his entire life without taking responsibility. Church Gist. We live in a do it yourself Kingdom. Please wake up. Strengthen the hands that hang down, strengthen your feeble knees and make straight paths for your feet lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed (Hebrews 12:12-13). Please wake up to take responsibility.
Trying to get up here on the platform from the main floor is a task without minding the steps. You will be groaning without movement. There is no way I can stretch my legs to reach the top without minding the steps. The journey to the top is in steps, if you don’t mind the steps you can’t get there. Church Gist. You mind the steps, no stress, no temperature. You go up step by step. There are five steps outlined in the little book Success Buttons as gleaned from Ecclesiastes 10:10-18. Four of them are there. It includes:

Location God’s purpose for your life. Locating God’s mission or vision for your life.

(3.) Discipline
Ecclesiastes 10:15. How do I get there, after discovering where I am heading for. The How-to.
We did the first one (Divine direction) in part 1, we did the second one (wisdom) in part 2, one we are on the third step which is discipline.
Very true, prayer has its place, fasting has its place but these other virtues have no substitute. An indisciplined spiritual juggernaut will end up a failure. No one can ever be distinguished in any area without the virtue of self discipline. Ecclesiastes 10:16-17. Those two verses connote discipline. Church Gist. If you check the background of that story, I have seen servants on horses and princes walking on foot as servants. It is a picture of the believer that won’t mind his steps. He had no direction, He didn’t bother to learn how to in order to actualize it. He is not disciplined enough to make it happen.
That’s why servants are riding on horses and princes walking on foot as servants. You say he used charm, okay, you use God, who is bigger? Charm or God? Forget it. Church Gist. This ministry has never cornered anything from anywhere to somebody’s disadvantage in this world. Why is the ministry still flying? Biblical principles are superior to the environment and the climate. All may be duping, you don’t have to, follow the truth, you’ll get there. Church Gist. Stop explaining your failure away, wake up to take responsibility.
Somebody was down, things were upside down for him and he said, “nothing works and he was crying”. I said, “okay. Go and get the book ‘Satan Get Lost’, when you finish, see me again”. Church Gist. By the time I saw him again, he was busy beaming with laughter, “I didn’t know Satan was this cheap”. He took responsibility to dismantle what he has been over-exaggerating. “Satan won’t let me go forward, he won’t let me move forward”. Because he has no light, darkness has a right to prevail. When he went to access light, to look for light, darkness clears. Church Gist. In the Precious name of Jesus, every barrier standing on your path today will give way to light! Because when light shows up, darkness must back out. Every barrier of darkness on your path must clear the way today! As you open your heart to the light of His Word, things will turn in your favour in the name of Jesus.
What then is discipline? I said here, discipline is possessing a sense of mission in pursuit of any given task. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 6:12. “I subscribe to the demands of my mission. Though they’re lawful, they’re not profitable, they’re not expedient, they’re not adding value to my mission, I’m not going to subscribe to them”. Church Gist. It takes self discipline to accomplish one’s God-given purpose on the earth.
Discipline is about operating as commanded not as convenient. Amos 6:1. You’re asked to resume at 8 o’clock at work, it doesn’t have to be convenient. Church Gist. Where you live is irrelevant, arrive there at 8, or you miss it today, tomorrow, they won’t need you again. They’ll say, “stay in your house, you have tried”. Operating as commanded, not as convenient. Church Gist. We live a pleasure-sick world and when you give into pleasure before labour, you live under pressure. Proverbs 24:27. People need to wake up to understand that there’s.., don’t put the cart before the horse, there’s always a price to pay. Proverbs 24:27. You’re going up!
So, self discipline is an attitude consciously cultivated towards the achievement of one’s goal. It’s about taking full responsibility for one’s actions and inactions. Church Gist. Everybody is absolutely responsible for the outcome of his life. It’s an attitude that’s consciously cultivated. It’ll interest you to know that since the inception of this Ministry, if service is 6am or 6pm, whatever time, on the dot, “shall we rise up” even when they were only two, “let’s now lift up our hands and give God thanks”. Church Gist. Nobody is waiting for anybody, from the onset. It’s an attitude consciously cultivated in pursuit of your mission and purpose. I called our men one time in Kaduna, I said, “hey, how was the service last night?” They said, “great”. I said, “what was the attendance?” “Three of us were present, two and then the Holy Ghost, making it three”. Church Gist. One was praying, the other one was saying Amen. It was a midweek service. 6 on the dot. Nothing guarantees progress like order. Self discipline is setting order over your life, you don’t live anyhow, you live to fulfil purpose.
I said here, discipline is living under self-set rules, that is, being a law to oneself. 1 Corinthians 9:27. “I did. I put my body under. I bring it to subjection. No, I mustn’t miss it”. Church Gist. Discipline is also about staying focused on one’s mission. Matthew 6:22. Discipline is also about making the most of one’s time. People suffer by being busybodies in other men’s matters. 1 Thessalonians 4:11. Making the most of your time because the days are evil. Church Gist. You can’t tell how much time you have until you begin to schedule it. Schedule your time to discover how much can be done within your set time.
I used to know one headmaster in the village who was studying law from University College London and there was no internet or anything in those days. All the other co-teachers were chewing corn, playing Ayo under the tree. He left them there and went to Law School. Church Gist. He passed his degree from the village. No power, no light. He engaged his time to make it happen. “Everybody is absolutely responsible for the outcome of his life” – That set me free forever. I caught it in 1981 and I wasn’t going to look for anyone to blame for where my life heads. I decide to take full responsibility in defining my future.
I don’t have time. “What is your time schedule like? What do you do with your time? Sleep? Watch television? Read junk papers?” Efficient time management is a core factor in discipline. Efficient time management can tell what your time goes for, any time. I wrote ‘Miracle Seed’ in 5 days and I wrote ‘Praying To Get Results’ in 2 days. It’s your time. Church Gist. Somebody asked me: “How do you get time to read?” I said: “How do you get time to eat?” And I said humorously: “What eating is to you is what reading is to me.” It depends on what you want to invest in. People have things that would change their life forever on their shelf, they have never checked it. They have the Bible, there is no story changing text on the Earth like the Bible, but they have never checked it. Why? “I don’t have time!” No one has any more time than you do, it’s an asset of equality – 24 hours to each person.
-In the precious name of Jesus, grace for self-discipline to maximize our adventure on earth, receive it now in Jesus’ name.
Ephesians 5:14-16. Self-discipline gave the following people their place in destiny. Joseph emerged the Prime Minister of Egypt through the virtue of self-discipline. “How can I do this thing and sin against God?” Self-discipline. Landed in the Prison, discipline distinguished him and finally arrived in the Palace as the Prime Minister of Egypt. Church Gist. Self-discipline is a lifter, it’s a promoter. Let’s subscribe. Genesis 41:38. Daniel was enthroned in Babylon through self-discipline. Daniel 1:8. Daniel 6:4. Self-discipline! And he prospered under 3 kings in Babylon. Historians say that it is for 65 years. Self-discipline positioned and sustained him. There was no error found in him. He kept himself.
Daniel 6:4. Self-discipline! High political office! Self-discipline! Self-discipline sustained him till the end. And we have Paul, a most celebrated Apostle of Christ who wrote 50 percent of the New Testament through a highly disciplined life. 1 Corinthians 10:23. That was Paul. Church Gist. He was a life student as a celebrated Apostle. “Bring my books, bring my notes.” Highly disciplined. Acts 19:15. Change of status. There is no substitute for self-discipline for anyone to be distinguished in his pursuit. No substitute! Nothing secures progress like order. Please get back and set order to your life, get back to set order to your time, set order on the issues of your life and you will be amazed at how much that is in it.
What does it take to invite someone to come to Church? It takes you first, believing in it. Two, engaging with passion to make it happen. We got to a spot this week and we had 69 souls saved. Church Gist. 69 and we returned back under 2 hours – 106 saved. It’s all about you putting order to your time, order to your life and you see how much there is in it.
-In the name of Jesus, the Blood of Christ shall not be wasted on any of us.
You are not a seed of Lazarus, you are a seed of Abraham. You are redeemed to be a blessing to your world, not a burden. The Man, Lazarus made it to Heaven, as passing through fire as it were. He had no taste of the goodness of the Lord on earth, yet it was his right. Church Gist. Abraham had a great, great taste of God’s goodness in his life and still made it to Heaven on a throne. You and I are seeds of Abraham, we’re not making it there as Lazarus, we must make it to Heaven as Abraham. Let me hear your loudest Amen! Thank you, Jesus.

It’s our Covenant Day of Breaking Invisible Barriers. Please note, among the barriers on earth that have powers are curses. You only see the effect, you don’t see them. Church Gist. Curses are invisible in nature. They can’t be seen, it’s only the effect that you feel. You know the effect, but you can’t see the source.
- In the precious name of Jesus, any curse that has held anyone down to this point shall be destroyed today!
Curses are real and they often manifest in same negative trends running down one’s lineage. Church Gist. Same negative trends such as hereditary diseases, failure syndrome, depression, marital crises, miscarriages, barrenness, business frustrations, labour and labour without nothing to show. Proverbs 26:2. There is no smoke without fire.
- Wherever the smoke is coming from in anyone’s life this morning, they shall be shattered!
But when one is born again, it sets free from all curses, spells and enchantments. Today is your day of liberty! Numbers 23:23.
-Today, every enchantment against you, every spell cast on anyone and on anyone’s generation shall be blown open today!
Because whatever is born of God is born to overcome the challenges of life and they overcome by faith. In the name of Jesus, as God opens your eyes to see your rights in Christ, you’ll be walking out of that chain in Jesus name. Church Gist. John 8.32. Curses are real, but the good news is, all curses are reversible. All curses are what? (reversible)
- So whatever is representing a curse on anyone’s life and affairs shall be reversed today!
Genesis 12:3. You have that package in redemption, because when you’re saved, you are Abraham’s seed and you’re entitled to the Blessing of Abraham and that blessing means you are uncurseable. Church Gist. So today, every curse hanging on any aspect of your life clears the way in Jesus name!
But while salvation brings every believer under the blessing, serving God and the interest of His Kingdom is what keeps us under the blessing. Salvation brings us under the blessing, serving God keeps us under the blessing. Exodus 23:25. Church Gist. So, as long as you keep serving, God won’t stop blessing and when God blesses, no devil can reverse it. Numbers 23:20. So, the blessings of God is our umbrella against all diabolical, generational, satanic curses. Serving God keeps you and me under the blessing. Serving God and the interest of His Kingdom keeps us under the blessing. Salvation brings us under it, serving God keeps us under it. Please, it’s time to look at it. Matthew 6:33. Church Gist. That is the platform you must seek to step into. Serving God with delight keeps you under the blessing of God and when God blesses, no devil can reverse it. Numbers 23:20. Forget about witches and wizards my friend! When God blesses you, no devil or his agents can reverse it. Job 36:11.
Please take this away, being born again brings us under the blessing, but serving God and the interest of His Kingdom with delight keeps us under the blessing. You can’t tell how many devils are angry with this Church, but it has no impact on it because when God blesses, no devil can curse. Church Gist. When God blesses, no devil can curse! My God! In the same vein with you, when God blesses you, forget about witches and wizards, forget about occultic powers, zero Sir, zero, zero forever! When God blesses you, everybody keeps off, every devil stay clears, every agent of the devil stays clear. That’s where you are coming into!
Now watch! 2 Chronicles 15:12,15,19, “When they entered into a covenant to serve the Lord God of their father with all of their desire, He gave them rest round about and there was no more w@r.” People need to know how to keep the d3vil off your path. Church Gist. You’re born again, you operate by faith but to keep yourself under the blessing, keep serving God and the interest of His Kingdom with delight. It imparts on your life and on your generation after you. Psalms 112 verse 1 to 3.
- My prayer is that you be anointed to see what God has provided for you in redemption and embrace the same in Jesus name!
So in this anointing service, please set yourself for brighter access to light because when light shows up, dârknēss must back out. Church Gist. In revelation 3 number 17 and 18… The anointing of the sight to see because as far as your eyes can see, unto you will I give it to see.
Now back in 1979, I saw that I’ve been raised up with Christ, made to sit together with Him in Heavenly places far above principalities and powers. I’ve told the story several times. So I was in that place to minister and I said, “How many of you are w!tches here?” Church Gist. Then I asked one of them to tell me what they do, what she was doing with the d3v!l, “Anytime we want to sûck blôød, we get on the highway, we cause the vehicles to summêrs@ult, we sûck the blöōd of the vict!ms.” Without hesitation I said, “What about when people like us are coming?” She said, “When we sense a higher power on the way, what do we do? We clear highways.” The higher power that dãrknêss bows to is light; when light shows up dãrknëss parks out. That was 1979 July, this is 2026, I’m still here alive and well and bouncing to show that dârknëss can never overpower light. No matter the degree of dãrknëss, it must bow to light.
- Therefore, today by this anointing, light will break forth and dārknêss will park off!
What I’m saying is this, when you are lighted at your instance, dárkn3ss clears. Darknèss can’t stand the way of light any day, any time, anywhere. Church Gist. And the entrance of His word is what gives light and gives understanding to the simple.
- By this anointing today, I decree a new level access to light that will move you from revelation to illumination!
There are two realms of it (light). In John 1:5, that light shines in dãrknëss, dãrknëss can’t stop it. In John 1:9, this is the true Light that lights every man that comes into this world. Christ was not enlightened, He was the light. Church Gist. And if you see the story very well, “Have You come to tørmênt us before the time…” Matthew 8:28 and 29. Have you come to tørmênt us? Light always tørmênt dãrknëss. Dãrknëss can’t affl!ct light.
- Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, as you are anointed today, your eyes will begin to see brighter than ever!
- God will advance you and me from the realm of revelation to illumination!
- At your instance, dãrknëss will clear off!
Arise and shine because what? Your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Although, darkness will cover the earth, and gross dãrknëss the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee and the Gentiles will come to your light, and their kings to the brightness of your rising. Next, they’ll begin to say, “Who are these that fly as a cloud…” That’s the power of light. Church Gist. It humiliates dãrknëss and every barr!er on your path and my path are works of the powers of dãrknëss. “But we contend not against flêsh and blöōd, but against spiritualities, against powers, rulers of the dãrknëss of this world, and w!cknëdness in high places.” Those are the forces on your path and my path that won’t want us to go forward. But when you are lighted, they clear off.
- In the Name of Jesus, I decree that by this anointing, God will change everyone’s level from the realm of revelation to the realm of illumination!
So next to salvation, revelation is the greatest asset of the believer. Church Gist “My people are gone into capt!vity because they have no knowledge.” Isaiah 5:13.
Invisible barr!ers will surrender to outbreak of light any day, any time because no degree of dãrknëss can stop the way against light as we saw in Christ who is the Light of the world. Church Gist. In Luke 4:33-35, we saw the picture here, “In the synagogue, there was a man which had an unclëan d3v!l, and cried out with a loud voice, saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with Thee, Thou Jesus of Nazareth? art Thou come to destrøy us? I know Thee Who Thou art; the Holy One of God. Have You come to destrøy us? Light destrøy dãrknëss.
Therefore, today, please pick this up; when you are saved, among the drama of redemption is your change of location. You are relocated supernaturally, “Raised up together with Christ.” Ephesians 2:6. “…and made us to sit together in Christ in heavenly places.” That is a description of the mystery of redemption. Look at verse 8. Church Gist. “For by grace ye are saved through faith.” So it’s talking about salvation. Now in Ephesians 1 and verse 20 and 21, it talks about the power which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right Hand in the Heavenly places far above all principalities. That’s where you are seated.
By redemption, you are now seated far above all the cruel forces of hell that constitute barriers on the paths of other people. So, when your eyes open to that, darkness clears the way for you. Church Gist. That’s all I carried to that place when I asked how many of you are witches. I carried to the place the mentality, the far above mentality above all devils. So, I wasn’t scared. Nothing emboldens like revelation. Those who do know their God, what happens? They shall be strong and it shall do exploit.
• Everything harassing your life must bow today. Everything harassing your destiny must bow today. Amen.
He has been showing you things. He will start showing you greater things. He said in John 5:19-20, Jesus said, “Verily, verily I say unto thee, the son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the son likewise. Church Gist. Now verse 20. For as the Father loveth the son and showeth Him all things that Himself doeth: and He will show Him greater works than these that ye all may marvel. So, God shows us in degrees. So, expect greater insight from this service today that will establish your dominion over all barriers of life. Let me hear your loudest. Amen.
You heard the story before 2009. We were in a nation and there was this notorious witch that arrived there before us and they welcomed that witch at the airport with pomp and pageantry. She went to the hotel. It must be a modern witch. Witches don’t stay in hotels. Church Gist. And then not long after she arrived, we came in. We had no idea, no info, nothing. We came into the hotel, she packed out. Not that we were on the same floor. We came into the hotel, she packed out. We didn’t know where she was. National newspaper carried it. When light shows up, darkness packs out. When light shows up, what happens?
• Now from now every step of your life shall be forward. Amen
Redemption makes you a peculiar person. You are not in the general run. You are a peculiar person in the sight of God. It’s loaded you with virtues that the enemy cannot resist. Let that light shine. He said, “Let your light so shine by this anointing.” Watch what happens. Church Gist. Your inside will be broadened. You will see brighter. You will see sharper. In the name of Jesus. Please stop sitting down and be mourning your situation. Rise up and take responsibility. There is no closed case with God. It’s your year of open doors.
• Whatever appears closed, God will reopen in your favor. That business will not die. The one called dead will be revived again. That career will not crash. The crashed one will be revived again. Church Gist. That family will not break up. The broken one shall be restored again. That besieged marital destiny shall be reopened and God will decorate your destiny. Whatever represents a barrier on your path clears off today in the name of Jesus.
So, this anointing is dedicated to your next level insight. Anointing to see. And as far as your eyes can see, unto you shall be given. anointing to see. How many have heard me say before that I’m not surprised that we are where we are today. Thank God for bringing us there and I would have been surprised if we are not there. Why? I saw it. Church Gist. I saw it in the word, and I saw what step to take into it. Now the same grace comes upon your life today. Everything I saw there is coming to pass in phases.
From today in the name of Jesus, your life will be a replication of the same. By this anointing you begin to see brighter than ever. Church Gist. Hear this! Thou has well seen. For I will hasten my word to perform it. So, the brighter you see, the faster the delivery. That shall be your experience. The brighter you see, the faster the delivery. You will begin to see brighter than ever right now.
Now, how do I see, therefore? Settle with the word. Be purposeful in your search. What are you looking for? Church Gist. Don’t go window shopping from scriptures. What is the area you desire light? Get books in that area. Put your Bible by your side and get on a search and search till you find. And by this anointing, God will enhance your rate of finding.
- You engage in prayer and fasting for access to brighter light.
Is this not the fast that I’ve chosen? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily. You engage in prayer and fasting for access to light. Church Gist. I can’t begin to tell you how much grace I have found in the course of prayer and fasting and searching for specific issues. Amazing. Like the path of Just is as the shining light that shines more and more until the perfect day. It was in the course of a five-day fast where I said I’m not prepared for a better last year till I go to heaven. Amen. Until Jesus comes, the perfect day, until Jesus comes. He shows you what may never come across without engaging on a fast. So, fast your way to light.
Paul, a man of unusual revelation, was giving to fastings often. Got diverse encounters with light through the mystery of prayer and fasting among others. He was an undying searcher. Bring me my books. Bring me my notes. Revelation does not jump on people. Church Gist. People go for it. It doesn’t jump on people. People go for it. In the precious name of Jesus. It’s finally your season. You are finally in your season. God will confirm your year of open doors practically this year. It will be clear that doors have opened to you by the hand of God and so shall it be. Lift up your right hand everyone and give God thanks.
