Habbakuk 3:2,6. There is no force under heaven that is stronger than obedience of faith to God’s instructions as contained in scriptures. When our obedience is fulfilled, it silences all disobedience, all opposition, all uprisings around us. Church Gist. It is my prayer you won’t be an onlooker in this revival but a bona fide partaker and may that become your lifestyle forever in Jesus name.
Prayer: Lord enfire my passion to respond to the commandments of stewardship more than ever before in my life today. Church Gist. I refuse to be an onlooker. Help me to be a bona fide partaker of the strong move of this hour.
Serving God and the interests of His Kingdom brings you into favour that cannot be denied. Everyone shall be rewarded according to his own labour, not every group. Church Gist. So there is no hiding place, there is no cover up. Your fruitful labour in this ongoing operation shall be openly rewarded to the shame of the devil and all the mockers of your faith.
Jesus, speak to us tonight and let each one return with a takeaway that will have an everlasting impact on our lives. Let it be Lord in Jesus name.
UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF OBEDIENCE OF FAITH 6
Not just obedience, obedience without faith is powerless. Whatever is not of faith is sin, it is dead. It can’t produce. Some believe in the commandment of prayer but refuse to believe in answers to prayer so they pray and pray but they remain oppressed. Philippians 4:6. They pray and pray but they don’t ever believe that God answers. “I have been praying on this for the past 40 days.” Church Gist. Well done. Answers to prayer will never come until faith comes along. People believe in prayer, they don’t believe in answers to prayers. The Word applies to as many, or whosoever believes. It doesn’t answer to doing it, it is doing it in faith that brings the answer.
Why many believers don’t get involved in the open platform of soul winning and ingathering. It is an open platform. There is room for everyone. He found them and told them to go to the vineyard and work. Church Gist. He found another set, “Go to the vineyard and work.” It is an open platform. Matthew 20:1-8. It is an open platform ordained to add value to those who engage. Open ended platform, there is room for everybody. Why are some people not involved?
- Some Do Not Believe In The Commandment Of Stewardship
Because the Word applied to whosoever believes, they don’t get involved, they can’t experience what it carries. - Some Others Believe In The Commandment Of Stewardship But They Don’t Believe In Anything Coming Out Of It.
Just like the brother of the prodigal son, he was busy serving the father. Luke 15:28-31. He never knew anything was in it. The father said “All that I have, are they not yours?” (Luke 15:31). He doesn’t believe there are things that belong to him by serving the father, so he remained a suffer head. If we suffer with Him, we shall also reign with Him. God is not calling for people to come and suffer for Him, He is only asking us to do what will make us reign with Him. Reign with Him! 2 Timothy 2:12. It is not suffering like affliction, it is taking responsibility to your power and beyond your power when He calls for it. Don’t tell me when things are not working “I am suffering for Christ”. Those who truly suffer for Him in serving His purpose, they must end up reigning with Him.
One word kept me going without being bothered about my upkeep. Jesus who pays me? Luke 10:1. I heard Him say to me, “You are in my employment. I am responsible, just stay on duty.” Those clean words has kept my supplies till tomorrow, without one day of thinking of who to beg from. It is an open platform and everyone that reaps receives wages as he gathers fruits unto life eternal. It is an open field that guarantees returns to reapers. After every seedtime comes the harvest time. It is God’s covenant with man. Church Gist. It is always the planting season before the harvest season. When any farmer stops sowing seeds, he stops harvesting. In same vein, no believer stops being blessed until he stops serving. Thou shall serve, He shall bless. Among the blessings, He will take sickness away from you. He shall bless and that includes you shall not be barren nor cast your young in the land. Among the blessings is the number of your days I(God) will fulfill.
No one serves God faithfully and fruitfully at a loss. You end up a wonder to behold when you are a result oriented servant of Christ. Job 36:11. That is what obedience of faith does with those who serve God with results. Every planting season by covenant has guaranteed harvest season. One cannot be involved as a farmer in the planting season and miss his harvest season. Seasons cannot be recalled. When rainy season is gone for the year, it is gone. You can’t recall it. When winter is gone, it is gone. Church Gist. You can’t recall it. When summer is gone, it is gone. When planting season is gone, it is gone. For that season, you are not entitled to harvest because the planting season is over. By Saturday the planting season of Operation 2024 will be over. As God always does, His rewards begin to speak after a season is over. Go to the vineyard and work and when evening was come, they were paid their due. So the next four weeks ahead will be harvest season. Harvest of rewards for those who have produced results. “I gave you one, you made ten. Now, have thou authority over ten cities.” Harvest of rewards based on results. You sow sparingly you reap sparingly, you sow bountifully you reap bountifully.
I was with one of us today we were on the table. I said wait a minute, let me go and fulfill my passion. I must go out. We returned with 88 souls within few hours. Sir, He hasn’t stopped blessing me once. Church Gist. I have not had to cry to Him “Bless me Jesus” one day. Is it wrong? No! When He is already doing it, what am I asking Him for? You are coming on that frequency, answer will be there. While you are yet speaking, He is performing.
All classified servants of God in Scriptures were supernaturally blessed individuals. Blessed all round, blessed in all areas. You have the likes of Abraham, Moses, Daniel, David, Peter and Paul. He’s a covenant keeping God. Church Gist. We have 3 days more or less to go and the planting season will be over and then he launches us to the harvest of rewards season. If there is nothing done in the planting season there is nothing to expect in the harvest season. It’s your turn for a change of story!
Obedience of faith is key to provoking the manifestations of the wonders in the Word. Anything he says, you choose to obey believing that what he says is in it is in it, you become a wonder to your world. Whatever he tells you to do, do it and you will see his wonder working power at work. Church Gist. I see every engaging winner return from this season as a wonder to his or her world. Whenever we do what the Word commands, we have committed God’s integrity to confirm his Word in our lives. Proverbs 3:35; Proverbs 11:30
- You won’t see shame anymore!
- The days of shame and reproach they are over in your life!
Hebrews 13:13. As we minister the Gospel, you allow the mockers to mock so that the maker can make. Refuse to be ashamed of him lest he be ashamed of you. It always works, every blessing in the kingdom trails the believer’s obedience. Church Gist. No blessing drops on people, it’s our obedience that attracts his blessing. Obedience of faith will attract God’s blessings any day, any time, anywhere. Wonders never cease in the life of obedient believers. Deuteronomy 28:1-13 – all these things just following just simple commandment of obedience. Obedience of faith will make a believer a wonder to his world.
Exodus 14:14-15; Psalm 114:1-7. God threw an highway across the Sea. Nobody was dropping, no ladder, nothing, they just passed through. Obedience turned them to wonders. The Mommoh’s family testimony we read now is a wonder. Church Gist. Womb removed, baby boy here. So is it womb you are looking for or baby? He’s up to anything. Everlasting mountains can’t stand believer’s obedience. Obedience of faith will scatter every everlasting mountain and cause every perpetual hill to bow. You just become an amazement to your world. It’s your turn!
Obedience of faith will always commit God to our supernatural change of story. If you will mind that instruction, your supernatural change is guaranteed. It’s adding to you, it’s not adding to anybody else. You’re not adding to the Church, you’re adding to your life. Church Gist. If you don’t get that right you may (incoherent speaking) – no! Serving God is adding value to one’s life. Serving God is distinguishing one among many. Malachi 3:17-18; Malachi 4:1 – when jungle matures, I will distinguish you. When many are out of order, I will distinguish you. When all hope appears lost I will distinguish you. That’s what he does.
For instance supernatural supplies answers only to believers’ obedience. You can’t have what you won’t obey what it takes for release. 1 Kings 17:13-16; Luke 22:35 – he sent them and they went and supernatural supplies answered to them. There are people that from this season on, you won’t know the meaning of lack again. Church Gist. It is not your profession that makes you rich it is the blessings of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. It’s not your business that enriches, it is the blessing of God upon your life that enriches. Proverbs 10:22. Abraham the obedient was Abraham the blessed and he got blessed by the faith of Abraham. Whatever God said, Abraham grabbed it. For instance: Hebrews 11:17-19. Obedience of faith was the stronghold of Abraham’s life. Genesis 24:1. Obedience of faith is a covenant facilitator of supernatural blessings. People are under that today, don’t get … There are many in this Church that are living under supernatural blessings. Not the things that people see, there are things that are orchestrated from Heaven. Church Gist. Philippians 4:19. That’s where to connect to, to be fulfilled in this endtime. Our supplies in this place are beyond economic calculations. It’s on the frequency of Philippians 4:19. He always does that, no respecter of persons.
But obedience that works must be delightsome obedience. You are not frowning, not burdened, delightsome obedience! Psalm 112:1-3 – How? Church Gist. He greatly delights himself in God’s commandments. He obeys God with delight, he does not see any commandment as a burden but rather a privilege for his or her own change of story. So he runs with it smiling, rejoicing.
1977 I had this encounter from Deuteronomy 28:47-48. So serving God without joy is counter productive, serving God as a burden is counter productive. Serving God when they said we should go is counter productive. God loves only a cheerful giver – your time, energy, cheerfully go in to serve his interest then you find amazing things following. Church Gist. If you read that Psalm 112 you find the amazing things that follow delightsome obedience. Psalm 112:10. The desire of the wicked won’t have any impact on your life, I’m the one blessing you, he can’t unbless you. That’s what happens when you obey God with delight knowing that whatever he tells you and me to do, they are absolutely for our benefit. He’s the same. Church Gist. He said, I am that I am – no matter what you do, I can’t reduce. No matter what you do, I can’t enlarge. He already fills all in all. But He has unlimited plans to changing our stories.
- My prayer is that no one here will miss that position!
- The same way that everlasting mountain was cleared off the path of the Mommoh’s family, every everlasting mountain hanging around your life, you will see them no more again forever!
- Every siege of the wicked holding you bound in one way or another, it shall be scattered here just by going after His commandments with utmost delight!
Now, some people have seen some results and they have backed out. So things go sour. Continuity in our obedience is the only way to sustain the blessings. When we turn our back, the blessing stops. Church Gist. Past tense stewardship has no value today if you are off course. A man has been doing right and he went off, God will forget the right he ever did. Ezekiel 18:24…and in the wrong he is doing, in that will he be judged. So we need grace for tireless obedience to God and His Word. We need grace. Galatians 6:9. He keeps adding value to you as you remain steadfast in your stewardship.
- It’s your turn!
Just like in any service, when you are out of service, you are off the payroll and you are off all utilities and allowances. You are off. You can’t be out of service and go down to ask; ‘what of my leave allowance?’ You have left. Church Gist. Security allowance – you have left. My driver – for where? When you are off service, you are off both the pay and all other fringe benefits. In the same way, when we step out of serving, we step out of those blessings.
May each one receive the grace not only to deliver in this Operation but to keep on experiencing value additions all the days of your life! Church Gist. That only becomes a reality by continuity in your stewardship with delight. When will this thing stop? When you want the blessing to stop, you can stop. When you are tired of the blessing, you can stop.
There are many many people in the Body of Christ who have seen grace and are now seeing disgrace. How? Is it the devil? No, they backed out. Church Gist. They have shared testimonies before but now they are sharing obstacles. Why? They backed out. This God is no respecter of persons.
- May we receive grace tonight from this communion table to finish strong like Jesus!
- Jesus said, it is finished (my mission – accomplished). Church Gist. May we receive that virtue tonight from this communion table to finish strong! Thank you Jesus!
- Again, my prayer is that today will mark the end of ups and downs in our spiritual life!
Please note, the 3 days remaining can make a world of difference in anyone’s life. Someone went out and saw 16 people saved and came back and the Lord said to him (I have shared this testimony over and again) ‘go to bed, I want to operate on you’ – same day. Church Gist. There are things you do that answer the same day. There are things we do that answer for us the same day.
- May each one succeed to do something this time that will help you to appreciate how God is ever faithful to His Word when we are faithful to His commandment. May that be your case in the name of Jesus!
- Every seemingly everlasting mountain on your path shall be scattered this time!
- Every perpetual hill shall be brought low!
- Every red sea on your path to your promised land shall part way!
- Every mockery of the enemy shall be turned to envy!
- Your seeming imprisonment today shall be converted to enthronement!
- Like Joseph, you will emerge a wonder on the other side! So shall it be!

They entered into a covenant to serve God and He gave them rest roundabout. We are in a restless world and a most restless generation. But Jesus has an all-round rest package for His people and that delivers on the platform of the covenant of stewardship. Church Gist.
