Every revelation is a knock on the door of your heart saying are you interested. He says “Now, look, the supernatural is locked up on your inside, do you want to know how to unlock it?” Oh Yes Lord. What you don’t learn, you can’t know and what you don’t know, you pay for it. Ignorance is very costly. Church Gist. What you don’t want to know, you can’t learn. Matthew 11:28. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, your era of rest has arrived. It is not wishing that gets us there, it is commitment to learning that gets us there.
In 1974, I was at Wesley Gate Methodist Hospital in Ilesha, there was a revival going on there. A white man was on the piano. The song was in him and he was in the song. He was a white man. I could see that oozing forth from him, not that he was just singing. So I caught the words of that song and told one of my sons in the office to get me the lyrics of the song. Church Gist. I found myself singing exactly what he sang word for word. 1974. Where a man’s heart is there is his treasure. I don’t know what you are retaining, it depends on what your heart is open to receive. May today mark a new dawn in your life.
The same way this ministry is not struggling for things to happen, your days of struggles are over. The same way we naturally operate in the supernatural, your days of struggles are over in the name of Jesus. I decree your new dawn now.
While the principles of scriptures are very powerful, more powerful is the power content behind them. Our preaching is not with the enticing words of man’s wisdom but in power and demonstration of the spirit. Church Gist. It is beyond motivational kind of junk. It is the power content that makes the difference. Somebody’s changing level.
At the Easter Faith Convention, God will be unveiling the secrets of our spiritual authority in resurrection. Kings don’t beg in their domain. We have been redeemed as kings and priests to reign on the earth. Church Gist. Begging is not part of God’s agenda for us. We are redeemed to take authority and that requires quite some things on our part. Those things shall be unveiled and unfolded at the Easter Faith Convention. Watch out for your portion.
“I need rest” Una well done. Come and learn and you find rest. That you are lying in bed doesn’t mean you are resting, it is on that same bed you are contemplating suicide. It is no rest. Take advantage of this season for your breakthrough.
UNLOCKING THE SUPERNATURAL has been the teaching series for our Sunday services this month. Unlocking the supernatural, which suggests it is locked on your inside and my inside. We have to learn to unlock it so we can benefit from the wonders therein. Church Gist. And it is not what we do the way we like. Exodus 4:17. That rod is Jesus, the rod that came out of Jesse carrying the seven spirits of God upon him. Isaiah 11:2.
It is our depth in the Word that defines our level of authority in commanding signs. The Word! Mark 16:20. This is the Word that puts you and I in command of the supernatural. Church Gist. It is not a thing you wish, it is a thing you go for. You go for the Word that puts you in command, in any area of interest.
By way of introduction, revelation of the truth is not just about hearing what the Word says but understanding what it means as it applies to you and I as individuals. It is not just about hearing what the Word says but understanding what it means as it applies to you and I as individuals. The Ethiopian Eunuch was reading from Isaiah 53 (Acts 8:26-35). The Holy Spirit said to Philip “join yourself to that chariot.’ “Hey Sir, can I have a lift?” Come on. Church Gist. Do you understand what you are reading? How can I except someone should guide me? When his understanding opened, his faith came alive. He was baptized and had his name in the Book of Life. Until his understanding opened, what he was reading had no meaning, had no impact. So it is not just about reading, understanding what is written as it applies to you.
Revelation is about hearing and seeing what God is saying and showing. Isaiah 50:4, 2:1. So it is a Word to hear and a Word to see. While the Word we hear is wonderful, the Word we see is far more wonderful. Proverbs 20:12. John 5:19-20. So He was a seeing Jesus and a hearing Jesus. That’s how we command dominion, you hear and you see and gain command. Luke 24:30-31.
From Isaiah 42:18-25, spiritual deafness and blindness are the worst afflictions in the believer’s life. Isaiah 42:19-22.
I therefore decree today, ear opening miracles and eye opening miracles for everyone in this service!
What we hear, what we see and see well enough is what determines what we can handle. 1 John 1:1. So, the Word is what to hear, what to see and commit to seeing it well enough, then it becomes handy, you’re now In command. Church Gist. The Word of life is what to hear, what to see, what to look upon very well and then it becomes what you can handle. So, it’s not just seeing but seeing well enough. Jeremiah 1:11-12. The brighter we see, the faster the delivery. Church Gist. This is because the brighter we see, the stronger our faith and the higher our level of command of the supernatural. Genesis 13:14-15.
I pray that everyone eyes becomes seeing eyes from today and that everyone’s ears becomes hearing ears from today.
Revelation 3:6. It’s time to tune in, come on the correct frequency to pick what God is saying and to see what God is showing you. Church Gist. The mysteries of the Kingdom are to be seen. Ephesians 3:8-11. So, mysteries are things to see, you can’t comprehend by hearing, you move from hearing to seeing and you’re in command. Praise God!
somebody’s story has just changed. If you’re that one, let me hear your loudest Amen.
This is because no one doubts what he can see, not even Thomas, the anointed doubter. John 20:19-23, 24-28. Church Gist. Nothing destroys doubt than being able to see what God is showing from the Word of life concerning every area of your life and my life. It’s amazing. Being able to see destroys doubts. Acts 4:20.
Nothing emboldens like being able to see what God is saying concerning you. Nothing inbuilds confidence in God than seeing those things that He said concerning you. Church Gist. So, it’s not just knowing who we are that matters but understanding who we are in Christ, being able to see who we are in Christ.
I’ve shared this several times. 1970, I was 16 years, I saw that I’ve been redeemed as a priest and a king. It entered inside me to reign on the earth, so, I’m not here to suffer on the earth. Church Gist. That was contrary to the ongoing messages of that hour. It got so much hold on that anytime I’m going out, I’ll ask myself, “David, will a king go out like this? No, go and change”. It got engraved in my spirit mind, I wasn’t guessing sir. I understood it as applies to me. You don’t have to be in politics to reign, no. There are captains of industry, commerce, agriculture, banking, they’re reigning. Church Gist. There are captains in ministries, they’re reigning, the world listens to them. There are captains in various professions, they’re reigning. You don’t have to be Local Government Chairman and State Governor before reigning, those are temporary stuff. Michael Faraday is reigning even though he’s dead. Church Gist. There’s nothing wrong with being Local Government Chairman and all if that’s your calling but reigning is being tops in your field of play.
Somebody’s story is changing.
Then, I caught, “God is not slow”, it was a baptism of patience for me, I was 16 years. So, I’m not hurrying about nothing, I’m in good hands with Jesus, I keep doing what He tells me to do, He shows up when I’m due. Church Gist. When am I due? When he considers me due. Am I to time? No, I can’t time when I’m due, I’m not qualified.
At 20, He showed me that, “don’t touch what is not yours or you cut short of your lifespan”. Jeremiah 17. Now, I wasn’t called to ministry then oh, it’s not about ministry, it’s about you. Jesus came to give us life, not ministry. John 10:10. Church Gist. Everybody is in ministry, not everybody is in pulpit ministry. Every believer is in ministry with a ministry of reconciliation and the Word of reconciliation to match. So, in his field, he’s turning people to Jesus. In his company, he’s turning people to Jesus, it’s a ministry. Church Gist. Understanding who you are in Christ is key to commanding the supernatural. Thank you Jesus.
Who am I in Christ? By redemption, I’m seated with Christ in Heavenly places far above all principalities and powers. When He rose from the dead, we were raised up together with Him. Ephesians 2:6. Ephesians 1:21. Church Gist. We’d be having a lot of lightings from that at the convention, come prepared. I want to able to see your translation in vivid terms, it’ll change your approach to life. Your days of begging to survive will be over. Your days of begging the devil to leave you alone will be over.
Who am I by redemption? I’ve been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light. You better understand what that means. America is a great nation but no American police can arrest me here in Nigeria. No! You are great in that Place, not here. When I cross over to Benin Republic out there, Nigerian police can’t arrest me there. Church Gist. No! I’ve left their territory, I can only be arrested by connecting with the authorities there. Not them coming to (arrest me).
In the same vein, at redemption you have been taken away from the kingdom of darkness where principalities and powers and wicked spirits torment people and brought to the Kingdom of Light. Church Gist. So there are no forces in the kingdom of darkness that can hold you to ransom anymore because you have escaped. Hebrews 2:3. So Salvation is our escape from the terror of the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light. Salvation is our grand escape from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light. Can I have you say with me if you have escaped: “I have escaped!”
Matthew 25:30. The kingdom of darkness is the kingdom of terror. That’s what goes on there in the kingdom of darkness – Defeat, failure, frustration, weeping and gnashing of teeth. John 10:10. Church Gist. That’s the manifesto of that kingdom – to steal, to kill, to destroy and so there is weeping and gnashing of teeth day and night in darkness. Jesus came and brought you and I out, we are no longer there.
-You are no longer there. The days of weeping behind closed doors are over in your life.
Colossians 1:13. He has delivered us, not He’s coming to deliver us. He has already delivered us from the power of darkness, from the kingdom of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of His own dear son. Romans 14:17.
-That’s where you are now.
You are in the Kingdom of Peace. You are in the Kingdom of joy unspeakable, full of glory so depression is not your portion, stagnation and frustration is not your portion. Church Gist. Your citizenry has changed. You are now a member of the household of God. We need this understanding to gain command.
- I’m redeemed an overcomer
1 John 5:4. Can I have you say with me: “I’m redeemed to overcome not to be overcomed.” Overcome anything that are obstacles but they are not to overcome you, you are to overcome them. There are barriers trying to hold you ransom, you’re to clear them off your way. Hebrews 11:33. I’ve been redeemed to overcome and to overcome by faith. It’s not unspiritual to be challenged but it’s unscriptural to be defeated. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 2:14. So new birth entitles you and I to triumph always and in every place through the savour of His knowledge. You were told the other time that the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit that never returns defeated from battle. “It is written.” When it’s correctly discharged. “It is written.” Sir, darkness must bow before light. “It is written.”Wow! I said: “It is written.” “Oh! I give up!” He maketh known by us the savour of His knowledge in every place!
- You have won! Thank You Jesus!
So it’s not enough to hear this, it’s important to see it. Hear and hear until you see. Don’t assume what you hear for what you see, hear till you see. Unlocking The Supernatural By The Power Of Faith. It is faith that puts believers in command of the supernatural. Mark 9:23. Matthew 8:8-13. It is faith that puts believers in command of the supernatural because the hand of God that commands the supernatural can only be brought to bear by faith. Isaiah 53:1. It’s the hand of God. Church Gist. Deuteronomy 26:8. It takes the arm of God to work signs and wonders and that hand is brought to bear by faith. When your faith and my faith comes alive, God’s hand is stretched forth to do what only God can do. Through faith, they crossed the Red Sea, how? “Go forward!” And they went forward. And God said: “Eh!” Sea gave way! His hand opened the Red Sea.Their faith committed His hand to open the Sea. So it’s not the great man or the great woman that we are celebrating; the great God with His great hand that He stretches forth to do great things. Psalm 128:23. Marvels are the workings of the hand of God and that is brought to bear by faith.
-You have escaped.
John 14:10. He’s the One behind the scene. I’m to speak, He’s to do. So I speak and He does. I commit Him by believing what I declare, then He stretch forth His hand to make it happen. Do you truly believe that God has a supernatural tnd package for you for this season? ‘Haba wa’ Are you sure you believe? Church Gist. Then take steps! Whatever does not move you, you don’t believe. Hebrews 11:7. Any faith that gets you seated is e, every true faith sets you into motion. God said He’ll complete this Tabernacle in one year, we moved the following day. We were here on Monday morning, He said it Sunday. We were drawing the rope here. Whatever you claim to believe that does not move you is fake. Faith moves whosoever claims to believe. Faith that does not move you is fake. Church Gist. “I’m trusting God for a supernatural turnaround” Nothing will turn. Without making moves in the direction of His instruction, nothing will turn. If Israel never went forward, the Sea will not open, Pharoah will capture them and they go back for 430 years again or never. You better move!
God called me into Ministry without any premonition on the 2nd, by the 6th, I had called a meeting to share this Heavenly Vision, by 29th of May, we have started. Anything you believe moves you. Whatever does not move you, you don’t believe it. Church Gist. You mean you can’t get 3 souls? You don’t believe it. I went out for one hour yesterday, one hour and I know what we returned with, one hour. You know how many hours you have? “I need to rest. Let me tell you something. I just need to rest. You know I’m not Papa.”

I’ve been running like this since ’76. They said Poor you, that’s why I’m so poor. Church Gist. God will always confirm His Word if we will keep to it.
- In the name of Jesus, no more fake faith in your life.

Our level of command of the supernatural is defined by the level of faith at work in us. Acts 24:14. “Believing all things.” Philippians 4:13. You believe all things to do all things. Our level of command of the supernatural is what defines the level of faith at work in us. Church Gist. Acts 19:11 and within 2 years, the whole of Asia heard the Word of God. It is by the word of our mouth that we command the supernatural because our words are seeds. What you say matters to the event of your life. Proverbs 18:21. God does not know jokes. Be careful what you say. “I don’t think there is any hope in this vocation of mine.” That’s where the hope ends. Church Gist. “Nothing works in this Country.” That’s why it’s not working for you. Genesis 8:22. Luke 8:11. We are created in His likeness, so what we say are seeds into our future.
- May right words, scriptural words, keep coming from your mouth from now.
- They will start reshaping every aspect of your life.
- May gative word proceed from your mouth to your children.
- May no rough word proceed from your mouth to your marriage in the name of Jesus.
Today is our Covenant Day Of Favour.
A 100 years of labour can never compare in value to one day of favour from God. 400 years, they were labouring and harrowing, one day favour landed and that was the rewriting of their story. Church Gist. The wealth of Egypt was transferred to them supernaturally. One day of favour is worth much more than a 100 years of labour.
- You are hitting that thing now.
- The favour of God will locate you today.
- You’ll never recover from it for life.
Exodus 3:21. Exodus 12:36. The Lord gave them favour. He promised to in Exodus 3:21, He confirmed it in Exodus 12:36. How did they get there? Church Gist. Exodus 4:22,23. As they set their hearts to serve God, He set an agenda of favour for them. This is a Church of diehard servants of Christ.
- It’s your turn to be favoured!
But we don’t wait for favour, favour has to be intreated or provoked. Psalm 45:12. Favour is to be intreated, favour is to be provoked. We don’t wait or wish for favour. We take Covenant steps to provoke favour. Church Gist. It is good understanding of that, that procures favour. Proverbs 13:15. Let’s find out how to provoke the favour of God and keep swimming in it. Favour is provoked. Favour is intreated by engaging the Covenant terms that trigger it.
The Following Are Some Of The Ways To Provoke Favour From God:
- Be born again and remain so. New birth is a birth into a world of favour. Turning away from our sins entitles us to supernatural blessings which also means favour. Acts 3:26, Ephesians 2:8…so we are products of divine favour. Church Gist. We are redeemed to operate in favour. Psalm 5:12. You are to be cocooned by favour, surrounded by favour, enveloped by favour. That’s what new birth offers.
- No one with a heart truly panting after God and the interest of His Kingdom ever runs out of favour with God. Please, get it right. It takes a heart that is truly panting after God and the interest of His Kingdom to keep flowing in favour. Psalm 102:13-15…fearful favour provoked by taking pleasure in matters of the Kingdom as a way of life. Church Gist. King humbly favour keeps coming your way as you maintain genuine pleasure in matters of the Kingdom. Interesting! Psalm 35:27.
When you favour His righteous cause, He takes pleasure in favouring you. It’s a deal. You don’t sit down somewhere waiting for it. You rise up to the occasion. Church Gist. “Do I truly have pleasure in Kingdom advancement endeavours? Is it a burden to me?” Or does it, as a privilege? Matthew 6:32-33.
Wait a minute, somebody was living with his sister in a wonderful apartment. The sister has 4 kids. In the midst of that, he was sowing transportation seed. He also needed transportation. Church Gist. He was sowing transportation seed and God saw it. He said, “what? I’m committed. He has committed me, I must decorate him.” Now, his shop size (6) times the size of her sister’s. A 3-bedroom furnished apartment.
One day, I stood here and lifted my seed during one of the Midweek Services and I said, “Jesus, where is this from? How did I come by this? What did I bring to ministry when I was coming? How did this get to my hand?” Church Gist. You better wake up. Things don’t happen because you cried to make them happen. You take covenant steps to provoke them.
- Somebody is going places!
Must you take away from here something today? Whatever you claim to believe that does not move you is fake. I think we can close here. Whatever you claim to believe and does not move you to action is fake. Church Gist. Whatever you claim to believe in this World, it doesn’t matter how you run around, it doesn’t matter how many titles you have – president, founder; if it doesn’t move you, it’s fake. Faith is a mover. When you are not moving, you are not in faith.
- In the precious name of Jesus, a new day dawns on your heart!
It’s not just doing it that works, but doing it according to the rules. Among which is, doing it joyfully and gladly. Never doing it as a burden; it holds no return. Deuteronomy 28:47-48. “You think I’m using you? I’m a taskmaster? I turn my back, face your life.” Church Gist. So it’s not just about serving God but serving God with delight. When you come to Church, He’s serving you. God is serving you now that’s why you are writing notes. He’s serving you from His table. What you don’t respond to what He teaches is the way you serve Him. Thank you Jesus!
Sir, you will never run out of favour running after God and the interest of His Kingdom. You will never run out of favour. Church Gist. You don’t need to know no man under Heaven to flow in favour all your life.
- New day!
- A new day in the name of Jesus!
- Stay in love with God. Staying in love with God entitles believers to continuous flow of favour. Church Gist. Romans 8:28. All things – and that’s you!
- From this Service on, as you connect on this frequency, all things will keep working together for your good!
David was a man in love with God. 1 Sam 13:14, 1 Chronicles 28:4…“God liked me. Why? I have a heart for God.” “A man after my own heart will always secure my favour.” ‘God liked me.’ 1 Chronicles 29:3 – “and now because of my affection for the House of my God, God liked me in return. God favoured me in return.” Church Gist. You can’t be in love with God and sustain it and run out of favour with God. Solomon loved the Lord and God smiled on him with unspeakable favour. Then he turned his back and God’s favour was withdrawn.
- May God’s favour not be withdrawn from any of us!
He didn’t turn his back the following day. He was there for 20 years in hot love for God. But after 20 years, he changed his love for God to love for strange women and God said, “okay, carry on with your strange women” and life became an ordeal. God set up adversaries against him. Church Gist. So it’s not enough to be in love with God but to stay in love with God. We must stay in love with God to keep God’s favour flowing in our lives. Some were there before, they are no longer there. They are no longer there. They have become social members as if God needs them. Nothing can be more deceptive than to think that God needs you. Nothing can be more deceptive than to think that God needs me. “If I were not there…”
Have you heard me before, “God does not need you James for anything?” I know you have a street named after you but God does not need you for anything. You need Him for everything. There are some fellows with 10-10 kobo and they think God needs them. “You know these pastors are heavy people. Church Gist. They give a lot. But if you remove all your seeds Sir, it won’t show. All the pastors in this Church, remove all your seeds saying ‘we are not going to give again’, it won’t show.” You better relax! You need God. Can I have you say with me? “I need God.”
You need God more than you need your daily food. You need God. When God turns His back, man is empty. Church Gist. Can you imagine Solomon in a shrine? Solomon in a shrine? Who prayed down the glory of God in the temple?
- No one will suffer a setback!
- Grace to stay in love with God, receive it now!
- Walking in obedience to God’s instructions unleashes divine favour upon unbelievers.
Deuteronomy 28:1-12. Church Gist. May we all receive grace for obedience today in the Name of Jesus. So, expect to begin to flow in favour. As you align with the following covenant terms outlined here, you will never run out of favour!
The same way God’s favour is upon this commission, it will be upon your life and your family. Everything works here and without stress. What’s the meaning? Favour!
- In the precious Name of Jesus, every form of stress and strain in your life clears the way for favour today.
This is the place, he said and brought us out of town to this forest. So, obedience brought this church under this strange order of favour. Church Gist. We would have lost our place, like the 2 and half tribes of Israel that crossed over Jordan. But God said move out here and locked up that place for 2 years. Obedience will always trigger favour.
- May obedience become your new lifestyle. May doing what God says become your new delight in the Name of Jesus. So shall it be.
Philippians 2:6-9 Church Gist. Favour is always a response to obedience. Obedience will always trigger high favour. Seven years plus, God said to me, do t you get out of this country until I tell you to. I’m finding delight in it. I didn’t feel odd or uncomfortable. From first day till now, I am super comfortable with that instructions. I am not going to step out of this country till I am 100 if he didn’t tell me to. No! Where am I going? He is my guide. Praise God!
Jesus said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Church Gist. And now, He is reigning forever, from a local standpoint. It is not running around that makes a man, it is being in pursuit of God that makes a life. Somebody’s story is changing. You can travel round the world and come back to point one, zero level. It doesn’t matter. But going about with God, secures a future! Thank you Jesus.
- Favour becomes your portion from today, you never run out of it. It will not be tied to a man. It will be anchored on God.
Your favour will be anchored on God, because man is there today, he is not there tomorrow, but God is always there! As your favour anchors on God, you will never run out of it.
