That testimony said “Before I was through with the first ten pages, that fear left”. Ten pages out of about 200 pages and that fear left. You will find an answer tonight. Somebody said that must be luck, no! Church Gist. That’s light. Only light does that. Luck can’t send away the spirit. He was casting out evil spirits with His Word. For anyone that may be under any kind of bondage of the devil, by the light of God’s Word I see you set free in the name of Jesus.
All through time we have known God as the miracle working God but we are yet to discover that the redeemed are miracle working sons and daughters. We are redeemed as signs and wonders to our world. All we need to learn is how to operate in the realm of working of miracles. Any faith that seeks to make God absolutely responsible for the outcome of our lives is an irresponsible faith. Miracles are not happenstance, they are the deliberate acts of God provoked by the desperate faith of men. They just believe what God says, they put it to work and God steps in to confirm it. Waiting for miracles will be like that man at the pool of Bethesda. Church Gist. You can be waiting for 38 years. Thou shall take this rod in thy hand, where with YOU shall do signs. Exodus 4:17. You lay hold on my Word and put it to work, I confirm it to a sign and a wonder in your life. Don’t wait to prosper, find the Word that makes men prosper. Don’t wait to be healed, find the rod that gets people healed. Don’t wait for breakthrough, you can wait for eternity. I saw this church as a do it yourself church from the onset. So don’t make an idol of any man. You get to know what it is, you engage with it in faith and you won’t give up on it because you know it is the truth, you have committed Gof to confirm it. You have waited enough. You have wasted enough time. This will be a month with a difference.
God is not only a miracle working God, His sons and daughters are redeemed to be miracle workers. Mark 16:16-17. It is just to come to discover what it takes to be a miracle working son and daughter of God. You are getting it now. This month you are getting it. People have waited and wasted forever. Time is lost waiting for what never comes by waiting. There is not the gift of waiting for miracles, it is the gift of working of miracles. Church Gist. There is no gift of waiting for miracles or crying for miracles, it is the working of miracles. 1 Corinthians 12:6-12, 31. Whichever applies to you most of all those gifts, they are accessible, they are available to anyone who desires them. Covet earnestly. No one shall live a defeated life anymore by waking up out of your spiritual slumber and taking covenant responsibility to make things happen.
John 14:12
God is a miracle worker. We are redeemed as miracle workers licensed by God Himself. Redeemed as signs and wonders from the Lord of Hosts who dwells in Mount Zion. So we are licensed. Redemption is our license to operate the realm of the supernatural. John 3:8. Everyone, no exemption. Isaiah 5:13. They are planted on a most fruitful hill with a watchtower inside to watch against any intruder. With a strong stone wall built around it. When he came seeking for fruits he found only wild grapes. What would I have done to my vine, that I have not done to it? We can’t allow life to go wild. We have what it takes to tame it. We have what it takes to tame this wild world and bring it into subjection. That is the adventure this month.
You better wake up. You better come awake. Things are getting tougher by the day around the world. A time is coming, there will be nowhere to run to but to God. I met an individual last week, he said after 30 years in North America, he has nothing to show. 30 years not 3 years. People look for a job for months accumulating debts upon debts around the world. There is no safe place except Jesus. Church Gist. So Jesus people should get serious about their Jesus. It is time to get serious. It is not that somebody told me about what happened. He told me himself. He opened his mouth and told me. Is he working? Yes. Then why are things not working? An enemy has done this. How do you deal with it? Go for light. As long as you don’t have light, darkness will keep tormenting you. It is over. That woman was held bound, she could not sleep. 10pm she will stay awake to escape the oppression and light came forth and she gave testimony after 3 years that she couldn’t see that fear again. Get serious with your God. Get super serious with your God.
We are running this month on a series captioned UNLOCKING THE SUPERNATURAL. Which suggests that it is inside you and you need to learn how to unlock it. You have what it takes to command the supernatural but it has to be unlocked. You have to locate how to operate in that realm. Unlocking the supernatural. When we are saved, Jesus steps into our heart. His name shall be called Wonderful. So we are full of wonders by the presence of Jesus on our inside. Isaiah 9:6. When we are baptized with the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit comes into us and His mission is to show great signs in heaven and on earth. Joel 2:28. Church Gist. So great signs that command the attention of heaven and earth are inside you and me. Peter referenced that in Acts 2:17-18. Joel 2:28-30. They are unhandleable people. The Spirit of Life, the Holy Ghost whose mission is the working of wonders now dwells in you and me. John 14:17. We are pregnant with wonders. It is how to deliver that we need to learn.
From Exodus 4:17, it is clear that God’s Word is the principal switch that turns on the supernatural in the life of a believer. What God confirms into signs and wonders in the life of a believer is His Word. They went forth preaching the Word, God also working with them confirming the Word, not their words, with signs following. Church Gist. Mark 16:20. You cannot locate the Word and engage with it by faith and not command signs and wonders as the outcome. The rod in the hand of Moses. Confirming the Word! “As many as received the word to them he gave power to manifest as sons of God” John 1:12.
It’s how bright our access is to this Word that determines our level of command of signs and wonders. You better sit up now! Abeg! Our greatest challenges will come to us as individuals. People commit suicide, they don’t discuss it with anybody. Their issues overweigh them and they just say, what am I living for? Boom! Church Gist. There was no way Peter could deny Jesus if the 11 were around – even if 2 were around. Elijah the great contemplated suicide – haba! We must have on a personal note and as a personal asset, the word that puts us over what destabilises others.
My wife wrote something in her book that during the ordeal on her health I was always rejoicing. Isn’t that … It looks wicked. Just say, “praise the Lord, it’s a great day.” The Word gets you smarter than your challenges and puts them under your feet. Church Gist. All these, “ehh, what can we do?” You don’t know what to do that’s why you are saying it. Go and find what to do – it’s in the book and it is anointed books that help you to understand the book. Find what to do.
Can you have this as your take away tonight: stop waiting for miracles, it never happens. Set out to work it! You can’t get at a miracle by waiting; you won’t get at it by crying. Church Gist. You’re either set to work it or it never comes. It’s your turn!
- No devil will take any of us for a ride anymore! -We have that responsibility.
The supernatural is simply a product of our obedience of faith to the revealed Word. Whatever he tells you to do, do it. You do it, you have produced a miracle. So find what he tells you and engage with it with obedience of faith. “Fill the water pots with water.” John 2:7 – Does it make sense? No, it makes wonder! That’s what makes it a wonder. Whatever he tells you to do, do it and a wonder is the result. “You’re blind, come here” and then he pasted the eye again with clay. Church Gist. What a wicked man! John 9:6-8. He has never seen – “where is Siloam?” He should find out. That’s how to work it. John 9:1-8. John 21:5-6 – “Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find.” “Ehh, are you a fisherman? What’s the difference between the right side and the left side?” Be speaking grammer! If you don’t cast your net on the right side you will never catch forever! You may die on the water.
So, miracles are simply products of obedience of faith to the revealed Word – again, the Word – The eternal source of all miracles. Church Gist. Any miracle outside the Word is abracadabra – it won’t last, it won’t take you anywhere.
But the knowledge of who we are is what determines what we can do. “As a human being what will I do?” That’s why you can’t do anything – you’re a human being, nothing has changed. You have not begun to appreciate your new creature status in Christ and so you live under. Galatians 4:2. We need to grow. The knowledge of who we are is what determines what we can do, or what we can dare. Church Gist. For instance I came to discover there is no difference between the white and the black. Romans 10:12. I saw that there’s always a gap in people’s mentality that some race is more advantageous than the other. It destroyed it eternally inside my being. We have been made of one blood in redemption. There is no privileged or under privileged race under Heaven. So it helped to determine what I could dare. I’ve never seen a prosperous nation and impoverished nation. While the earth remains, everyone on this earth that has not gone to the moon, you engage the covenant, you prosper. You go to a supposedly most prosperous nation, you will be in poverty if you don’t know the covenant.
So the knowledge of who we are in Christ is what determines what we can ever dare or do. Every child of God – black, white, yellow – has this same mind of Christ, has the same Jesus on their inside, has the same Holy Ghost on their inside. This is just mere pigmentation; it does nothing to your worth. Church Gist. The knowledge of who we are. Psalm 82:5-7. It’s contrary to their own culture. “How can he say we are gods? We are not gods. We are human beings. We are going through the same thing don’t let us deceive ourselves.” Okay, Be telling yourself the lies.
Somebody here (a woman) got converted from Islam to Christianity and so was faced with hostility – intense hostility. The son was going to get married – she got saved, the son also got saved. The son was going to get married and somebody called him that he should come to Oja-Oba in Lagos – some items are waiting for him. Got to Oja-Oba collected the items, who sent the items? They gave the number, call call call, no answer. Church Gist. The same son went to Minna and was asked to go to one place to collect cow and crate. The colour they were going to use for the marriage was what they gave him – everything! You have everything inside you – if she turned back, she will be backward, darkness has come back. We serve a miracle working God and we are his miracle working sons and daughters. Have that supernatural mentality, it has helped me beyond measure in my little journey.
I’ve found myself daring and doing things that are contrary to common sense. Why? I’ve left the common realm – consciously so. Somebody is blessed tonight!
How can you hear God is saying, “it is I, go and start building Covenant University.” You didn’t ask him, where is the budget? You’re already in partnership, you’re in intense relationship with him. You know whatever he says, he is up to it. You’re not bothered. Where was the budget for Faith Tabernacle? None. Church Gist. How did it happen? Ask God. It’s the knowledge of who we are that determines what we can dare or do. You’re not an ordinary person; redemption makes you a peculiar person. The word, peculiar means a different specie of human beings. You’re different not by intellectual prowess – no – by your discovery of your new status in redemption. So we look at the mirror of the Word to locate who we are in God’s own sight. Romans 3:4. This is the mirror of life for the believer (the Word). James 1:22-25. This is the mirror that shows you and me our picture. The vision of all is in this book. God’s vision of you and me is in this book. Isaiah 29:11.

Who am I in Christ?
- I am redeemed a spirit being in human flesh. John 3:5-6. Church Gist. Every child of God is born a spirit being in human flesh. Acts 14:11.
- I am not only redeemed as a sheep of His flock, I am redeemed as a lion to prevail in the battles of life. Proverbs 30:30. Every child of God is redeemed a lion. Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Revelation 5:5, John 17:18. So every child of God is redeemed a lion for the battles of life. Church Gist. A sheep to be guided by the Shepherd but a lion to prevail in battle. So you are a dual personality. When the Lion in Jesus roared, they fell backward. “Whom seek ye? They said, Jesus! Woah.” (Laughs) So we are dual personalities in redemption. We are His sheep to be guided and we are lions to prevail in battle.
We are redeemed to operate in the realm of unlimited possibilities. Church Gist. John 14:12, Philippians 4:13, Mark 9:23. Unlimited possibilities!
To unlock the supernatural, one thing forever required as foundation is the Word. Without the rod, you are not in command. It takes the rod to command signs and wonders. Not just the Word right now but the right Word. Not quoting Scriptures like a parrot. The right Word that has been revealed, you have looked upon it well and it has become a weapon in your hand, then you are in command. Church Gist. 1 John 1:1. So we don’t just see, we don’t just hear it, we see, we look upon it well and then we lay hold on it, then we are in command. The right Word! 2 Timothy 2:15, Job 6:25.
So it’s not just the Word. Jesus came, “it is written” – satan said, what? Right Word! He came again, “it is written” – right Word! Third time, “it is written” – I surrender. “Then satan leaveth Him.” Right Word! So what are we doing in our studies? We are hunting for the right Word that will put us in command of that unwanted situation. Right Word! Church Gist. Not the one that somebody saw, the one you saw. He told you it is there, then you saw it with your eyes, you looked upon it well and then, it becomes a weapon in your hand. Not the one somebody saw. Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 10:17.
You can be in the same study group, it doesn’t mean you will earn the same scores. No! One can be A++, the other one F+++ in the same study group. Knowledge is personal in the natural. Revelation is absolutely personal in the spiritual. Church Gist. Absolutely! It is to everyone according to his faith not our faith. His faith! And that’s repeated how many times? 3 times. Habakkuk 2:4, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38.
Now, here comes it. The Holy Spirit is our chartered access to the right Word. He is able to teach us all things and on top of that, bring to our remembrance all things whenever they are needed. John 14:26. He is our chartered access to the right Word. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13. When the Holy Ghost teaches, it is balanced. It’s ever balanced. I have not had to withdraw any of our publications till tomorrow, till I go to Heaven. No! It’s not arrogance. They are not fabricated. Church Gist. I sat in the classroom of the Holy Spirit while in my studies, while praying and wrote them down as I was receiving light. When the Holy Ghost opens up any truth, it’s always balanced. He will fetch things from Genesis, add it to Micah, move it to Jeremiah, bring it back as a product. That’s what He does. So you need to secure a sweet fellowship with the Holy Spirit. He is the One that produces and gives us access to the right Word.
- Again my prayer, that each one will be awake to take responsibility!

There is no future in waiting for miracle. There is no future in it. We had a song that we used to in the Old Church (I mean the Body of Christ) “weeping will not save you.” Church Gist. I’m sure some of you know it and yet, people are weeping. We are just singing the song “weeping will not save you” and they are weeping inside the song because they don’t even know the meaning of what they are singing. It’s time to take…Good news! Even children have right of access to the truth. 2 Timothy 3:15. From a child!
You hear some children in the Children Church, you will be wondering, when were they born? From a child! Teachers have done some work on them, parents have done a lot of work. So the truth is engraved in them. They are not guessing, they are not trying to pose. Thank you Jesus!
Even children can know it. The good news is, you can start today. Don’t wait for problem to solve itself. It never happens. Don’t wait to become a lawyer tomorrow, go to school. Don’t wait to become a doctor next week, you can only become a native doctor and that one, you don’t need any cooling, you just look for who to deceive. You grind charcoal for them and call it the teeth of an elephant and he pays 10 million for charcoal from your backyard.
