Lord Jesus, thank you. We are all waiting and looking up to you. Let your Word come through today and let your name be glorified in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
Supernatural breakthrough is my heritage. Every born again child of God is redeemed a light of the world. A city set on a hill that can not be hidden. A light to the world of darkness showing the way to go and the step to take for others. Supernatural breakthrough is our heritage in Christ. After we are born again, we have been rescued from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. Ephesians 5:8. Every child of God is a light to his world and as long as he walks in that light, he keeps commanding supernatural breakthroughs naturally. We just heard some good news last two weeks of the breakthrough at Faith Academy, how out of the 6 qualified Nigerians in that competition, 4 came out of Faith Academy. 4 out of 6. Last week we got the good news in that ranking by the most respected ranking body, The Times Higher Education. Covenant emerged number 1 in Nigeria, number 1 in West Africa and number 7 in West Africa. 21 years only. Church Gist. You keep commanding supernatural breakthroughs naturally as you keep walking in the light. So you belong to a winning family, you better connect. Don’t just hang around, get connected. If you put your charger by the socket, it won’t charge it. You plug it in. We don’t stress to succeed, we walk in the light to command breakthroughs. If you walk in the light of the Word, breakthroughs become your natural experience. You are not struggling with it. It is a new day for you. It is a new dawn in your life.
Also, it is important for me to mention before we get on today that every instruction is a form of examination. If you don’t pass the exam in a class, you can’t change your class. So when you hear this is to be done, Operation By All Means and you say what are they talking about? I don’t want to write the exam so keep me in the same class. That is the meaning. Every instruction is an examination. When you despise the exam, you have refused to change classes. I mean there are too many ways of doing this. You don’t have to be on the street if you don’t have the capacity to. You can be in your prayer closet and pray for souls into the Kingdom. Invite them, offering them compelling invitations as a smart marketer of the gospel. Church Gist. You bring them in, they hear the gospel and get saved. You are a factor to their salvation. To sit down and do nothing is not fair to yourself. It is an exam. Every instruction is an exam. Every revelation of the truth is an exam. If you engage with it, you are set to change class. If you disregard it, you stay in the same class. So OPERATION BY ALL MEANS is another exam for everyone who is registered in this university. If you despise it, good luck. You embrace it, fair enough. This midst of the year will not leave you behind. My God who is also your God will make your feet like hind’s feet and get you up upon your high places. You will never be found on the street corners anymore. The month of July will open a new chapter to your destiny and it will be clear that God has manifested His power and glory in your own life. You are next in line for a change of level.
Also, this coming Friday, if you watch the announcement made on the Spiritual Week of Emphasis, Friday was not mentioned because God spoke to me to put up Encounter Night 2023. This has been announced across our churches worldwide this morning. This Encounter Night comes up this Friday, July 7th. It is going to be an awesome time in God’s presence. Let me tell you the basis for this. The Lord said to me “Release all that have deposited in you to the people that I have given you because they cannot walk in your steps except they carry what you carry as I have given to you. In the same way, I connected you with diverse graces upon those ahead of you, everyone I have given you that craves for the grace that you carry shall have the opportunity to connect with the flow at the 2023 encounter night”. Church Gist. It is grace that makes great and Grace is transferrable. The Lord is saying to me “all that I have put into you through your various connectivities, pass it to them. As many as crave for it will get it”. You crave for it to get it, there is nothing of the spirit you get casually. I craved for what Hagin carried and I got it. I craved what Copeland carried and I got it. It is a crave, without a thirst you don’t have an access. Every spiritual engracement comes through a thirst. A genuine thirst. No matter your part in the kingdom, you need passion. It is also part of it, so come prepared. We shall be having a feet washing session that night. Church Gist. So every of your hanging inheritance in Christ shall be released back to you and your destiny will be restored back to dignity and colour. No one will be in that service without something to return back with. The same way I am flowing in Hagin’s grace today, he has gone to heaven but he is here. That same way, every single person that genuinely craves, that believes that way we are doing is not abracadabra, it is real. Church Gist. When did we stand here praying for Faith Academy before? Yet Faith Academy is flying. When did we stand here praying for Covenant University before? There is a particular frequency you come unto with God that everything begins to answer to you. That is what we are talking about. From this time onward, you won’t struggle where others struggle anymore. As you get on key with God’s secret for supernatural breakthrough, it shall begin to answer to you supernaturally. No more setbacks in your life anymore.
Quickly, we are on this morning. The teaching series for the month in our Sunday services is captioned UNVEILING THE BREAKTHROUGH POWER OF LOVE. 1 Corinthians 2:9. So they are record breakers, lovers of God are ordained as pathfinders. They set the pace for others to follow. They are trailblazers; you can’t ignore them in their field. Isaiah 55:8-9. God’s ways are superior to any other platform under heaven. There is no academic institution that will match the validity of scripture in transforming lives and making things happen. Church Gist. Otherwise, why will Covenant come a few days back and everybody lines up behind them? When Joseph came down with the ways of God, Pharaoh said there is no one as wise as you are that we will set over this business. God’s ways are higher than our ways. They may appear weak but they are ever in command. God’s ways are ever in command of the affairs of life.
Love God? What is in that? I will tell you what is in it. It turns an ordinary person into a pathfinder, a pacesetter and a trailblazer. Genuine love for God will transform any dummy to command dominion. Genuine love for God with proofs. Proven love for God. Please get ready because we are travelling this way that is above every other way. A young man came here, he said he heard me say I am going to show you what you can’t get in Harvard. Because the ways of God are higher than Harvard. What is Harvard? Success without stress, that is not available at Harvard. Breakthrough without sweat, you can’t find that at Yale or Cambridge. In case you are in doubt, look at your church as an entity, where is the game that is advancing the church? In the precious name of Jesus, you won’t miss this way forever. Church Gist. This is the way to go. Thank God for what education will offer in our institutions. There is no doubt that they are of help but I am telling you His ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts than our thoughts. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts. My prayer is that you will take these lectures and allow them to create the future you desire by aligning with His commandments thereof. The devil keeps saying that is too simple to be true, that cannot be true. That is how he got Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden. You won’t miss your garden of promise. 2 Corinthians 11:3. Simple but powerful, simple but unbeatable, simple but always in command. The days of struggles are over finally in your life.
With the love of God at work in us, great things begin to happen on their own accord. Romans 8:28. All things, not many things, not most things, all things. That is the realm you are entering into today. The realm of nothing working to all things working like a dream of the night. That is the new realm that you are stepping into right now. When one is truly grafted to the vine, he begins to manifest the virtues of exploits without struggles. When you are grafted into a vine, you become a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive. Romans 11:17. Just get grafted into God in love, you start manifesting divine virtues that command exploits. My prayer is that everyone’s eyes will be opened to see this highway of life and get off the street corners.
Serving God and the interests of His Kingdom is a vital proof of our love for God. Love has proofs. I love God, nobody else may know but I love God. No! If you love Him there are proofs in scriptures. John 14:21. 1 John 3:18. You cannot just be saying it without anything to authenticate it. 2 Corinthians 8:8. Not everyone who claims to be in love is sincere. There is what to do to prove the sincerity of your love. Among what to do is take delight in keeping His commandments. Don’t be coerced, let it be delight. Psalm 112:1-3. So it is not about doing something to impress anybody around you. Church Gist. With utmost delight from within you. Your love motivates you from within you, you want to do what He says to do because you are in love with Him. John 21:15-17. Interest in His purpose on earth is a proof of our love for God. Romans 8:28. God’s purpose is to have all men saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Everybody has a part in it like in the building of the Walls of Jerusalem. Every profession had a part in it. The merchants were there, the goldsmiths were there. Everybody that chose to, had a place in it. There is a going aspect of that job, there is a praying aspect of that job and there is a bringing aspect of that job. That you walk up to your Zone and say ‘can I take care of the transportation of everyone here?’ just demonstrating your zeal for God. There is a caring aspect of that job that looks after the challenged ones among the brethren with required passion. Everybody has a part. That job was done in 52 days because everybody did his part in it. If you are not on the go, Then you should be on the prayer, if you are not on the prayer, then you should be on the bringing. If you are not bringing, then you should be on the invitation. To do nothing. Every time God speaks is an exam, you engage you change class. You ignore you remain in the same class.
So what is the explanation anybody will give? I am not able to go out because I have weak legs. Do you have a weak mouth? Because you eat. Use your strong mouth to pray. Nobody has an excuse. It is only where your heart is that determines what you engage with. If your heart is not there, it is not there. I knew that carrying God and the interest of His kingdom will take anybody to any height in 1976. We are going somewhere. Church Gist. This short man today, if he goes to heaven, the whole world will hear at the same time. I am not ready anyway. I am still here working. Life is so simple, just align. Don’t try to negotiate God’s instructions, it won’t change. You can’t take God to any court. If you won’t do what He says, you won’t do what He says He will do. God’s love is not theoretical, it has proofs. If it is not there, it is not there. If you love Him, you will love His house, you will love the brethren, you will love the needy, you will be there.
Unfortunately, all of us have this breakthrough virtue within us but most of us have never cared to stir or engage with it. Moses had a rod in his hand and he didn’t know what it could do. Everything you need is in that rod. Everything you and I will need is in our love for God. Church Gist. Jealously guard and grow it, you will end up a wonder to your world. It is a gift deposited in us at new birth. If you stir it up, it begins to deliver in your life.
What is love? Love for God in our context implies:
A God first lifestyle.
That is quite a task for selfish humans. God first me last. How? Everybody wants them first and everything else next. God first and me last. Matthew 22:37-40. All others require this one for delivery. It is wisdom to give God’s love priority in our lives as believers. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. The Holy Ghost was espousing the place of love. Faith requires love to deliver. Faith works by love. Faith will never work beyond the level of our love for God. It shows us how every other thing is nothing without love.
Secondly, we saw how Christ said “Do you love me? Then keep my commandments”. Our love is proven by how much delight we have in keeping His commandments as He reveals them to us in our private devotions, in our meditations, in answers to our questions. 1 John 5:3. Jesus was asking “Do you love me? Then serve my interest on the earth. John 21:15-17. John 15:16. Everyone is chosen and ordained to be a fruit bearing believer. Whichever department of this kingdom you belong to, be a fruit bearing believer. Church Gist. You are ministering with passion, you are praying with passion to see people come into the kingdom, hear the gospel and be saved. You are giving with utmost excitement, you are enjoying it, you are not under stress. Everybody is ordained to be a fruit bearing believer. May today mark the end of every form of fruitlessness in our Christian adventure. May each one become a value adding member of the Body of Christ. It is your turn for a change of story.
What is in love that engenders supernatural breakthroughs?
When a believer is in love, he dwells in God
(1 John 4:16-17). That makes the individual a breakthrough personality on the earth because nothing can stop the way against God. When you dwell in God and God in you, when you step towards any iron gate, it lifts up its head on its own accord. You become a breakthrough entity. They are clapping for you but you are only fronting for God. God is the one that the gate saw and lifted its head. The Bible says when Peter was in prison, the iron gates opened on their own accord. Church Gist. When you are in love, you become a breakthrough personality because you are enveloped in God, you are cocooned in God. What the barriers saw is not you, what the barriers saw is God. What made the gates to lift their heads is not you. It is the God inside whom you dwell. From now every closed door against your life is declared supernaturally open. Just dwell in God and the gates will have no choice but to lift up their heads. What can’t stop God won’t stop you anymore. Today will mark the end of being at the same spot all the while. You are changing levels.
2. All true lovers of God are known to be sold out servants of God so they command supernatural naturally.
David, a man after God’s own heart, a man with a heart for God, a man in love with God, nobody remembered him when they were talking about sons. He wasn’t in existence, they forgot him. Love found him. 2 Chronicles 16:9. God will always locate those who are in love with Him, He will find them no matter which corner they may be in the world. Those who are in love with God cannot be lost. He will locate you no matter the corner of the world you may be in. Samuel went to the house of Jesse to anoint a king and they didn’t remember David as a son. The Lord said to Samuel, that is the man. Church Gist. Nobody will sit down till he comes. They went to look for him. With a heart for God, no matter your look God will find you. You are the next one to be found. I don’t have to find you, let God find you. My finding you doesn’t make any meaning. Let God find you. When He finds you, it shows. He will show Himself mighty towards them whose hearts are perfect towards Him. When God finds you, your case is settled. In the precious name of Jesus, I decree that your love will make God find you this time. It is a new day for you.
Every true lover of God is ordained as a pathfinder, a trailblazer and a pacesetter. Church Gist. It is in there because God is the one manifesting Himself in that individual’s life. It is not about his strength, it is not about his skill.
Therefore any believer who cares to stay in love with God will end up a wonder on the earth. It is one thing to be in love and another thing to stay in love. Solomon was in love with God but he didn’t stay in love. God turned His back on him. May God not turn His back on any one of us. The latter end of Solomon was not palatable, God turned His back on him. It is not enough to be in love, it is vital to stay in love. When a marriage hits the rock, you can’t bear the Mrs of that man again. When you are out of love, it is a divorce. The First Lady’s immunity, dignity and honour have departed but as long as you are Mrs President, you have the immunity of the President. Church Gist. You have the security and honour of the President. Stay in love. Solomon got a divorce and things turned upside down. Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity. When he was divorced, he began to build shrines. He built 300 shrines for his strange women. Don’t let God divorce you, it can be very devastating. You go back into utter darkness. Please stay in love. I release the grace from heaven for each one of us to stay in love till the end of our journey. No one here will suffer the plague of divorce from Christ.
Abraham stayed in love, a friend of God. David stayed in love, Elijah was passionate till he got into heaven by a picture of rapture in the Old Testament. Peter stayed in love, everything turned around for him. Paul, an avowed lover of Christ was a living wonder. They stoned him to death, they dragged him out of town for dead and they gathered around him to see what they will do to bury him. Church Gist. He rose up, nobody prayed over him. They didn’t have the guts to pray over him because if this man could die like this what can’t we pray? Acts 14:19-20. He had dominion over death naturally. Philippians 1:23-25. Paul was a living wonder. He was lost in the sea overnight and he came back to go on his mission not hospitalised. Something is breaking forth in your life.
Today is our Encounter With Destiny Service. The good news is that every child of God is a child of destiny. We are raw products of God’s predestination. He chose us before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:11-12. We were predestined to be to the praise of His glory. We are children of destiny, we are not permitted to live as destitutes. Just like Jacob and Esau, before they were born God made his choice. It is the choice of grace that we are enjoying. They call it the election of grace. “Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated.” He chose you and me as his beloved. Somebody is here this morning who is not born again, He brought you here so He can bring you out of darkness. You didn’t respond because you wanted to come, He drafted you here. Church Gist. No one can come except my Father draws Him. He drew you to say “Hey, I have a place for you in my kingdom, why are you hanging around somewhere else?” I am a child of destiny, I am not permitted to live like a destitute. I am God’s choice to the praise of His glory. I am not here to be a byword and a proverb, He has called me unto glory and virtue making available to me all things that make for life and godliness. We need a sense of destiny to realize God’s agenda in our lives. We are not here to struggle for survival. God has a set plan for us. Not just a destiny of what will happen will happen, a highly defined destiny.
For example,
1. Every born again child of God of God has a glorious destiny in Christ.
Romans 8:29-30. You are called to be glorified not to be shamefied. The days of shame and reproach are over in your life. Church Gist. Like a dream of the night, God will turn every shame around your life to double glory.
2. We have an enviable destiny in Christ.
Genesis 26:13-14. Galatians 4:28. Every child of God is redeemed to be envied not to be pitied. The days of pity are over in your life. You have an enviable destiny in Christ after the order of Isaac. Your enemies will turn around to begin to envy you. The things for which they are mocking you will be the same things for which they are envying you. Church Gist. Is somebody receiving the seed of the Word this morning? You better get it. A sense of destiny will change your perspective in life because as a man thinks in his heart so is he.
3. We have a prosperous destiny in Christ.
2 Corinthians 8:9, Revelation 5:12. We are redeemed to a prosperous destiny.
4. We have a royal destiny in Christ.
Revelation 5:9-10. There is royalty in your blood. 1 Peter 2:9. There is royalty in your blood, not slavery. The days of slavery are over in your life. Church Gist. No devil has the power to enslave your life anymore. Slavery to sickness, to failure, to diseases, to lack and want are over in your life.
Revelation is key to accessing our inheritance in Christ. Acts 20:32. The Word of God is our access to all of our inheritance in Christ. 2 Peter 1:3. That is our access. For example, we are destined for a life of continuous progress but it is only realisable by revelation. Proverbs 4:18. From today your life will never know a backward trend again, why? You have been justified by the blood of Jesus. Your path is ordained to shine more and more till the end of time. For 42 years, we have never recorded a backward trend as a ministry. That is God’s agenda for all His children. That is His agenda for you and me. You will never record a backward trend in your life anymore. How did they get there? Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 3:18. It is by revelation we are changed from glory to glory till we come unto the fullness of the stature of Christ. We are changing and changing as we keep walking in the light. It is by revelation that we experience our own from glory to glory experience. The clearer we see what pertains to us and embrace them, the faster we realize them. Jeremiah 1:11-12. The clearer we see the faster we realize His agenda in our lives. Particularly as we choose to embrace it and walk in the light. You will get there. The days of pity are over in your life because as He shows the light and we walk in the light, we have committed Him to confirm His world in our lives. It is not enough to have the light, we must walk in the light. Can I tell you this? This life has a lifespan. If He shows you now and you don’t choose to walk in it, it begins to fade and fade until it disappears. John 12:35-36. Walk while you have the light. As the light comes, embrace and take steps to start walking in it or it is turned to darkness. Believe in the light, embrace it and walk in it. Every time the water is stirred dive into it, to maximize what it carries. Don’t drag, dive. That is the way to experience a change.
In 1984, He showed me the light on Church Growth. We dived into it. March 1984. We have not stopped diving up till now. We are still diving this morning. He showed me the secret of Kingdom prosperity, I dived into it. I am enjoying God’s blessings in my life without stress, without begging, without having ever borrowed or begged since He showed me and I walked in it. It changes people’s story. The problem is that we have the light but we are waiting to see if we should go in or not. Church Gist. The light will go off straight. He said go and publish Come and See in 1984. We started it straight and we are still doing it now. All these papers you are carrying are Come and See. Come and See since 1984. Walk in the light, your story won’t stop changing. Don’t just watch the light, walk in the light. Ephesians 5:8. It is time to take responsibility.
New chapters will never open without embracing the root of the world that opens it. Remember “Arise and shine” because your light has come. When your light comes and you rise up to walk in it, the Gentiles will come to your light and their kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:1-3. We fly by light, not by strength. Your days of running and getting tired are over. You are getting on a flight at last. There is no comparing the best vehicles on the road with the tiniest plane in the air. Church Gist. Before the vehicle will get to Ibadan from Lagos, the tiny plane has arrived in Abuja without gallop, without any armed robbers on the way. God wants to get you on a flight and this flight will come by light. As you embrace the light, you just get on a flight. Light empowers men to get on a flight. Isaiah 60:8, 15, 22. That is the power of light in changing people’s stories. So when you embrace the light of God’s Word, your story keeps changing and changing.
Let me tell you this, it will help you. When the Lord showed me the mystery of corporate tithing, 4th September 1987. It changed the story of our Commission forever. We are in command of divine wealth naturally. He said “The same way I open the heavens over the lives of individuals through tithings, so I open the heavens over institutions, businesses and even churches”. I was in Hebrew 7:1-8. Tithe is not a natural transaction, it was a spiritual transaction. What tithe Abraham paid was not his personal tithe, it was his company’s tithe. 318 went to war and he paid the tithe of all. That changed the story of this ministry forever. We are one of the most comfortable financial church institutions on the earth today. See what God is doing in your Church, you are building that kind of cathedral and nobody is under stress. Nobody is aware, some of you have never been there. It is not anything on your life by the hand of God. I knew when the light came, I knew when I grabbed the light, I knew how I invoked the operation of the light. We have a song saying “I have seen the Lord’s goodness, His mercy and compassion. Hallelujah praise the Lord”. We just see God’s goodness without stress. We opened to 85 new nations last year without stress. Churches in 85 nations without stress. The days of stress are over in your life. When you are in the light you don’t struggle to find things in the darkness, light shows where they are. The world may be in darkness today but your case is different. Things may get worse and worst for the world, it will get better for you.
What does it take to access the treasures that secure our glorious destiny in the Kingdom?
1. Be born again
Mark 4:11. John 3:3. Until you are born again, you cannot see the things that God is showing.
2. Walk in the fear of God.
The secrets of God are with them that fear Him. This is why people are just telling stories all around town. The fear of God is not in them so they don’t have access to the secrets of God. They only have access to the stories of God. The difference between the stories of God and the secrets of God is wide apart. Psalm 25:14. He showed Joseph His secret, they say he was wiser than all men in Egypt by the secret of God. How did he get it? “but I fear God”. Genesis 42:18. The fear of God is our cheapest access to the secrets of God. Job was a man that feared God. Job 29:4. The fear of God is our cheapest access, it is not the anointing. You can do anything, that is why they are not seeing anything. They are just telling stories and using philosophy and psychology mixing them together. Looking for different translations to justify their course. Church Gist. The fear of God is the access to the secrets of God. Before I got born again, I saw in my Bible that it is good for a young man to bear his yoke in his youth. I saw it and the following year I got born again. I saw I have been redeemed as a prince and a king, in the days when we enjoy being slaves. We enjoyed being in want and poverty. Christianity was sacrifice. Sacrifice of suffering. The fear of God is your cheapest access. I saw that no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper. I wasn’t filled with the Holy Ghost here. Wake up, my friend. Without the fear of God, you won’t access the secrets of God, you will just be reading stories. Who gave birth to Abraham, who gave birth to Isaac, who gave birth to Jacob, genealogy. You will just be reading stories but with the genuine fear of God, your access is automatic. Access to God’s secrets is by the fear of God. No fear of God, no access.
3. Stay in love with God.

Walk in the fear of God, stay in love with God. As light continues to break forth from the Word continue to walk in it, our level will continue to change from glory to glory, no devil can stop it. Can darkness stop light from having its way? Church Gist. Forget about all those witches and wizards that are against you. When light comes every darkness will clear the way. As we all know we live in a kingdom that operates on keys and the key to an ever flourishing destiny is to keep walking in the light of the Word as revealed to us from time to time. Luke 11:52. Our access to everything God has is based on our knowledge of what to do to access them. It is a new day for you. There is a lot of financial stress today around the world not only in Nigeria, the way out is to line up with the covenant of abundance which anchors on the law of giving and giving is secured by tithing and tithing opens the windows of heaven. We had some amazing testimony this week from Botswana, someone built a 350 capacity church with pastorium and offices and handed it over to the church. He is a member of the church. Someone is set to build one in Congo Brazzaville. He is waiting for the final papers. Someone built one from Canada here in Ogun State already handed it over to the Church. Kingdom investment keeps enlarging your financial coast without stress. You are doing it with simplicity not with announcement. Stress is on the earth today it won’t touch you. In the same way your Church is shielded from the happenings in the nation over the years, you will be shielded from every evil of the day.

– Every held down destiny is declared released today.

– I decree vengeance on any captor that won’t let you go.
– God will contend with them that contend with you. He will feed them with their own flesh, He will get them drunk with their own blood and you will enter into your destiny.
– The battle over your destiny is over.
– Many of us will hear news this week that your captors have been laid to rest, that your assailants have been laid to rest.
– You will hear good news this week.
– I pray that your love for God will come alive and get on fire and keep growing all the days of your life.
– May this day be a turning point indeed in your own life. May it be a most memorable day in your own life.
