We are not serving a magician God, we are serving a covenant keeping God. Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. Quite a number are struggling because their salvation is questionable. Church Gist. But whatever is born of God only, overcomes the world and overcomes by faith. This person from his far away background, gave his life to Christ and was visited by Monday.
In the same vein, everyone born of God in this house, you shall be visited before July is over.
Stagnation is not your portion in Christ. Being on the same spot is not your portion in Christ. The path of the justified is ordained to shine more and more, not more and less. From this time on, your path shall be shining more and more. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 3:18. It is revelation that changes our stories from glory to glory. It is by revelation we experience a change of story. In the precious name of Jesus, the light coming your way will keep changing your story all your life.
This Church for the past 44 years has never known a setback and if you are on board this flight, your days of setbacks are over.
UNVEILING THE BREAKTHROUGH POWER OF LOVE is the teaching series of the month and the purpose of this series is to put the key in your hand that will give you access to the topmost top of life. Like begets like. The Most High cannot give birth to the most low. Giants are born of giants. The Most High God cannot give birth to the most low men because like begets like and giants are born of giants. Church Gist. Jesus said “As my Father has sent so, so send I you” (John 17:18). We saw how He exalted Him and gave Him a name above all names. That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow.
– God is changing your name as He keeps changing your levels in the name of Jesus.
That is so important, let us understand that as the basics. The topmost top is not your ambition, it is your heritage in Christ. If you care to know the access, the topmost top is your place is Christ. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 2:9. That shows us the access to this realm that eyes have not seen nor ears heard which is the realm reserved for us in redemption. If we care to follow the protocol – “… to them that love Him.”
By way of introduction this morning, genuine love for God is the master key to a world of all round breakthroughs. Genuine love for God! When your love for God comes alive, you are holding the master key in your hand to a world of all round breakthrough. The prophetic word ignited the love of Judah. That prophetic word came and King Asa took courage and began to demonstrate his love for God, himself and the remnant of Judah and they entered into a covenant to make God their reason for living by serving His interests as a way of life and the Lord gave them rest round about. Church Gist. 2 Chronicles 15:12. They entered into that covenant with the whole of their heart, not their mouth and God gave them rest roundabout. “Come and see my zeal for God” (2 Kings 15:10). You can’t have zeal for God without it being visible. It is visible to those around you and much more importantly, God in heaven.
– It is your turn to enjoy a round about rest.
– Today, every unrest in anyone’s marital destiny is over.
– Every unrest in your health is over.
– Every satanic oppression in your life, every mark of the wicked one on any area of your life is over today.
So set your expectations right, it is over at last.
Why do I call it the master key? Jesus said it. Matthew 22:36-40. This is the master for access to all the provisions both in the New and Old Testament. This is the first and great commandment, everything answers to it. Romans 8:28. Church Gist. All things! Not some things, not most things but all things. All things working together for good is only available in redemption, it is not available anywhere else. Some do well in one area but are blatant failures in other areas. Not you!
Genuine love for God is demonstrated in our delightsome obedience to His commandments. Now, let me pause here to say this. Parents, you pamper your children today, you join the enemy to lose their future. Caution! There is a difference between suffering and responsibility, a world of difference. No matter how much money you have, you can’t write exams for your children. You can’t attend lectures for them. Church Gist. The Lord was speaking to me because I always pray whatever anyone has suffered, their children will not suffer it. It’s enough! That’s okay but responsibility is not suffering. Can you breathe for them? Can you go to the toilet on their behalf? You better teach them what has helped you. Any child that does not love God has no future. Pump the love of God in their hearts. A degree is of no value without a heart for God. Those who make great marks in the Kingdom are men and women with a heart for God.”
Young people listen to me, my grandmother was my best teacher growing up and she must be older than me, so don’t turn deaf ears and say no, “those are old people”, you’re wasting your life. Church Gist. It said, “Children, obey your parents!” Don’t pamper this children oh. “We are going out”, “you people can go”, your adult grown something is telling you “you can go” and you even go and say, “okay, I’ll soon be back”. What kind of life? I want you to have rest, He gave me rest. Church Gist. Help them to know they must take responsibility not to end up a liability.
The battles of life are real, you can’t lie with them in bed, they live in different cities, I’m different countries, what will be their defense if they don’t know God? Church Gist. Please listen, and then children in primary school, you’re sending them abroad, what kind of disease? I can’t understand anymore. Church Gist. Parents, train your child before he gets old and cannot be trained anymore. Only God can bend a dry fish without breaking it. A child is not behaving you said they should send him abroad, aha, so they can go and behave? Under your nose, he is not behaving, you say, “I think he should just go abroad”, what are you looking for? Do you want rest tomorrow? You too, take responsibility today. Church Gist. If you want rest over your children tomorrow, take responsibility today. Ask them, “what are you doing in this season of glory?”
That boy that testified this last Sunday was an SS3 student, made excellent throughout by engaging in Operation Push. He’s already learner how to go up.

There was a Gallup poll years ago that 80 percent of children of successful people don’t succeed. 80 percent, you know why? Church Gist. They lack the opportunity to exercise themselves to excel. They lack it, especially spiritual things, they lack the opportunity to move forward. When he (Pastor David Jnr) had that terrible accident in UK, I wasn’t there. Over to you, I decree that every child that is not connected to your God will come awake in the name of Jesus! Your generation will not derail. Church Gist. When your fullness of time comes and you’re looking down from the gallant of Heaven, you’ll be seeing them triumphing and breaking forth on every side, in the name of Jesus Christ!
There’s no new generation truth. Delightsome obedience is a proof of our genuine love for God. John 14:21. 1 John 5:3.
Another proof which I call the capital proof of our love for God is untiring passion to see souls saved. We all know it in this Church. Jesus defined it as the capital proof of our love for God. Church Gist. As long as you remain committed to it, willingly so, you have committed God to keep changing your story from one realm of glory to another.
I said at the Covenant Hour Of Prayer that Soulwinning should be seen as an investment, not as a Church activity or a Church program. We should see it beyond just going, see it as an investment into tomorrow. Church Gist. Why do I call it an investment? Mark 3:14. Mark 10:28-30. Hundredfold means 100 by 100 which means 10,000 percent returns.
When we subscribe to His commandments, He said, Psalm 112:2-3. What’s His commandment? John 15:16. That’s a commandment and as you do that, you’re proving your love for him and what happens? Psalm 112:2-3. Church Gist. Every soul passionate believer secures the generation after him if he cares to take responsibility and connect them to the same source. Eli did not succeed, his two sons crushed that lineage. Samuel the anointed one did not succeed oh, his two sons did not walk in his ways and he never took responsibility. Church Gist. So, it takes responsibility on our path to keep that lineage going by ensuring we connect them to the same source to which we are connected, that’s Jesus. Can I hear your Amen?

Luke 22:28-30. It holds returns here, it extends to our generation after us and secures a throne for us in Heaven. Church Gist. Praise God. John 21:15-17. The lambs are the children, go after them. Thank you Jesus.
Paul the passionate lover of Christ said, Romans 1:16. 1 Corinthians 9:16-17. May each one’s passion for souls come alive today. Church Gist. So, it’s beyond Church building, goes to future building, building of our generations and securing a place in eternity, it covers all of that. Praise God.
When we stay in love with God, He will make anything marvelous out of our lives. Remember, we are redeemed to be marveled at. 1 Peter 2:9. Church Gist. We’re redeemed to be marveled at. In the name of Jesus, that’s your portion.
David, the lover, was a marvel. They couldn’t find anyone in that family to be enthroned than to send it to a young boy that was keeping the sheep. Church Gist. A marvel. Psalm 71:7. Every true lover is made a wonder unto many.
-That’s how the world will start wondering about you.
David, the lover, was a wonder unto many but God was his refuge, a strong refuge. That is the lot of every lover. “Eyes have not seen.” That’s a wonder. “Ears have not heard.” That’s a wonder. 1 Chronicles 28:4. “I won His favour by my heart for Him. He liked me to make me king.” Church Gist. People like you, that’s okay but when God likes you, it shows. “He liked me.” “I’ve found a man after my own heart.” “He found me with a heart for Him, He liked me and made me king.”
-He would make something out of your life.
Interestingly, God knows whether we are in love with Him or not. Let’s stop playing games, God knows. Jeremiah 17:9-10. God knows whether we are truly in love with Him or not. “They draw near Me with their mouth but their heart is far from Me.” Church Gist. God knows whether we are truly in love with Him or not. Isaiah 29:13. 1 Corinthians 8:3. God knows whether you are in love or not. He knows whether I am in love or not. God knows! No hiding place.
-As we partake of this Communion today, may everyone’s heart turn fully back to God.
John 8:29. Now, not only God knows. So, everybody knows what is in him. Nobody else may (know) but you should know, I should know. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. Church Gist. So your spirit knows what is in you: “Am I truly in love or am I just putting up a show?” Now, Jesus now came down and clarified it. “By their fruits, you shall know them.” Matthew 7:16-20.
-From now, it would be clear to the world around you that you are genuinely in love with God.
This is so important, this is so vital. I found myself in it. (In) 1976, He revealed the jackpot of life to me. I embraced it and signed the Covenant with Him. I had no calling to ministry but my heart kept panting for God like never before. That’s why I brought the books for the month for you. Church Gist. It was through the Book of Oswald J. Smith that the love for God caught fire in my soul. The Book is titled: “The Man God Uses.” I was a boy but I was reading the Book of “the Man” and I caught fire from Matthew 6:33. You know what? When you connect anointed resources, the Spirit of the source enters into you.
-It’s time to connect!
You can’t read “Passion For Souls” and not catch fire for passion for the lost. “Wonders of Kingdom Stewardship”, you can’t get tired of pursuing after God if you catch what is in it. Church Gist. “Following The Path Of The Eagles”, you have no choice because if you don’t follow His leadings you are going nowhere. This is the way to go. And “Ruling Your World.” These materials will help to steer up a new wavelength in your walk with God.
What is love?
Love for God in our context implies the following:
1. Placing God above all else including yourself.
Luke 14:26. The word ‘hatred’ there is just a relative word. Church Gist. You don’t love Me more than you love your father, your mother and yourself; you’ll be limited. When God becomes your all in all, you’re set for access to the topmost top in life.
2. A Kingdom-priority lifestyle.
Matthew 6:32. I guarantee you Jesus said, if you seek first the interest of My Kingdom, the advancement of My Kingdom, all these things that others are dying to get shall be added to you. Church Gist. What an adventure. Job 1:8. Job 13:15. Yes, he was challenged but he gloriously triumphed. The latter end of Job was brighter, far brighter than before.
-You may have been challenged, you are coming out!
If you retain your love, you will emerge more than a conqueror. Romans 8:35-37. Every true lover emerges more than a conqueror from every battle.
Every true lover of Jesus emerges more than a conqueror in every battle if he sustains his love for God. The problem now is, people are challenged and they disconnect from God. Now, who will help them? Their challenges manipulated them to disconnect from God their Helper, so where will there help come? Church Gist. Job stayed through and came through. Isaiah 43:2. There is no champion in the race of life without challenges. Champions are made out of challenges. It’s like a student crying during an exam, they say why, he says “Exam, exam has come. (crying)” You know that’s a problem. Genesis 22:1. He (Abraham) passed the test.
Now, who would believe here that this Church was once 4 and then 6 and then 10, all kinds of things along the line, but no disconnection, no disconnect. You see us celebrating 10 people, you’ll be wondering, are they mad? No disconnect. Total income of this Ministry 1984 for the whole year was 18,000 plus. Church Gist. You have heard that too many times. No need to say, ‘It should have been working now’ Are you the one to set the exam? How can you set the exam and be marking it yourself? Yet, I’ve signed a Covenant of Love since 1976. I heard a call in a broad vision 1981 and He said go ahead to Church ministry, 1983 and the Church is crawling 1984, yet the love is burning. Wake up my friend, wake up!

Don’t let challenges cower you. You’re in command. With the love of God at work in your heart, you’re in command. Don’t let challenges cower you. Church Gist. You’re in command with the love of God in your heart. Every true lover of Jesus emerges more than a conqueror from every battle. You can’t kill love. Songs of Solomon 8:7.

– May your love remain unbreakable.
– May your love for God remain unbreakable.
– May your own love for God remain unbreakable.
What is in love that engenders breakthrough? Please, listen.
1. Our love for God enhances access to revelation. Every true lover of God accesses revelation without stress. Revelation is not a product of mental exertion. Deuteronomy 29:29. Genesis 18:17. “Abraham, come. The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah has ascended to me and I’ve come here to destroy them” I mean, your love for God and my love for God makes us His confidant. Church Gist. He confides in us, He unveils to us what others may not access. John 15:15. Revelation flows like a river in the life of true lovers of Jesus. It flows like a river, revelation flows like a river and what is it? Behind every supernatural turnaround is access to revelation. Isaiah 60:1-3. So, when you are in love, you gain natural access to revelations. You are not struggling, when you take your Bible, light flows. Church Gist. You take a book to read, light, wow! Because you are in love. Thank you, Jesus. 2 Corinthians 3:18. Revelation changes our stories from one level of glory to another.
2. Love empowers our faith to deliver maximally. Why? Faith works by love. Our faith will deliver to the level of our love for God. 1 Corinthians 13:1,2. So, it is the quality of our love for God that defines the delivery of our faith. Church Gist. The quality of our love for God is what determines the outcome of our faith. All this is God showing us love is the master key to all-round breakthroughs in life. Amen.
3. Love facilitates answers to our prayers. When you are truly in love with God, you will hate to toy with what displeases God and that gives express access to our prayers. Isaiah 59:1,2. Psalm 66:18,19. When we turn from whatever God hates, line of access in prayer is opened. Church Gist. David committed a grevious sin but he repented and now verily, God has heard him. Every true lover is fast at repentance. Thank you Jesus. That blind man said, “I know that know God heareth not the prayer of sinners. I know. Whether I be a sinner or not, I know not. Once I was blind, now I can see. But I know God heareth not sinners.” When you are in love, you are all out to want to please Him at all times.
4. Finally, Love enhances access to wisdom from above. Paul the Lover was acknowledged by the Apostles as a man of wisdom. Romans 8:35-37. 2 Peter 3:15. The Apostle recognised him as a man of wisdom. He is in love. You know, when you are in love, you dwell in God and God in you and our God is the only wise God, now He lives in you. Church Gist. So, you have the right answer. Many times, silence is the best answer for victory. Praise God! Silence is the best answer for victory. There was a year we had an issue in a particular nation where through a strong mafia, they seized our property and had a court judgement that we are not the owner of the property and so, they called me and I said, God is big enough to defend Himself. No mention, no nothing, silence. No contact with anybody under Heaven. Silence! And God stood up to it. Now the property is ready for dedication. Church Gist. Glorious victory! I saw the picture this last week of the new structure we are building there. God fought the battle like no man else can. He fought and won the battle in grand style. There was no contact with anybody. God stood in there. The wisdom of God is a mighty weapon of war.
Now, “he that walks with the wise shall be wise”; when you are a soul winner, you are in Jesus’ company – He is walking with you. Proverbs 13:20. The more you are in love, the wiser you become. Mark 16:20. So when you are in love with Jesus, you are out on the go for Him, you are walking with Him and you will get wiser by the day. Church Gist. All soul winners here know that your utterance keeps scaling up as you go from place to place because of the wisdom of God that’s flowing through that companion (relationship).
We were in a place yesterday, we saw 80 adults gave their life to Christ. Well for your information by the grace of God, I had 423 souls this week and that’s with about 60 or more extra to those adults. Church Gist. The things I teach are the things I do and you can see it’s working for me. It’s working. Yesterday, I attended to people from various countries that came just for a touch.
– My prayer is that this season will mark the dawning of a new day in your walk with God in the name of Jesus!
– May each one get wiser by the day as we keep demonstrating our love for Jesus in all areas of our lives in Jesus name!
What Are Some of The Proofs of True Love?
1. If we love Him, we will remain committed to reaching out to the lost (we have said a bit of that). Psalm 119:46, Jeremiah 20:9.
2. If we are in love with God, we will be committed naturally to fellowship. You are not struggling; you are naturally committed to fellowship. “I don’t have time” – it’s not part of your deal. You are eager to be in His presence and behold His face. Psalm 84:1-2…that’s what happens when you are in love with God. Church Gist. You are naturally addicted to fellowship. Naturally! You are not struggling, it flows out of you. You want to be there. You are not going there to meet people, you are going there to meet God.
“Wherever two or three are gathered together, there am I in their midst.” So when you are in love with Him, being with Him becomes a joy. You are eager, you want to be there. Church Gist. David said, “I was glad when they said to me, come, let us go to the House of the Lord.” I’m sure his protocol officers are the ones responsible: “your majesty, it’s time for fellowship – gentlemen, I’m gone.” Psalm 122:1. Every true lover craves to be in His presence. Psalm 84:2.
One day, I was challenged. I had some weakness in my body long before I was called to ministry and I said, “if I can only get to fellowship, this thing will clear.” So I waggled my way to be there and they said, “Brother David, you are leading the prayer tonight.” And in our time, leading prayer is not this 5 minutes you go and come back; you stand there. Church Gist. It was an all-night prayer. Jesus healed me, operated on me; I was going home after that, I was hearing cracking sound. My bones were falling into place.
Fellowship is not meeting with Brother John, Brother Joseph; fellowship is meeting with Jesus. Don’t play with it. When you were on the other side, when the herbalist tells you to come by 1a.m, you go there. They say, “you mustn’t talk to anybody, you mustn’t tell your wife when you are leaving home.” You obey all his instructions to go and meet the devil. Church Gist. Hebrews 10:25…it becomes of much more importance as we are heading for the end time where the wicked shall do more wickedly.
– Somebody’s story is changing!
It’s a vital proof of being in love with Jesus. You are in love with fellowship. Church Gist. It stirs you up and you are there always for an encounter with Jesus.
Examples of Love Made Breakthrough Personalities In Scriptures
1. Esther. Esther took her life in her hand to approach the King uninvited. Now, by the law of the Land that equals death except the King points the golden sceptre to that individual. Love for God which translated to love for His people gave Esther her place in destiny. Church Gist. “If I perish, I perish” – she exclaimed. Esther 4:16, And by Esther 7:1-10, God visited and Esther 8:1-7, judgement concluded; all Jews were set free not one died. But the one calculating their death had to be hung.
2. David. David, a man after God’s own heart, was a tireless giver to prove the sincerity of his love. 1 Chronicles 29:3. Church Gist. He was such a tireless giver and giving is a proof of the sincerity of our love for God. God so loved the World, He gave.
– Everyone that is involved in advancing the Kingdom of God with their God given resources, you will never know dryness in your life!
It’s the way it works all of the time. It was passion that drove him to Goliath. “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the army of the living God?” Church Gist. That was what drove him, not reward – not for reward and he brought him down
3. Paul the Apostle was all out for Christ and the Gospel to prove His love for God. He grew to become a giant among the Apostles and the effect is all over. Church Gist. He wrote about half of the New Testament. Unusual access to light!
– In the precious name of Jesus, the giant in you will not go to the grave with you!
– Your love for God will cause that giant in you to come alive in the name of Jesus Christ!
Well, I said earlier on that genuine love for God is the master key to all-round breakthroughs in life including marital breakthroughs. That testimony read said, “some people vowed, you will never get married. Jesus said, come after me; I will make all things new and she did and is now gloriously settled in marriage.”
– No matter the curse that might have come on anyone from any source, that curse is reverted today. That curse is broken today.
– Everyone set for marriage and desired to be married, today is declared your day.
– Every widow and widower that desires a resettlement, today is your day.
– Every separated home that desires a restoration, today is your day.
– Every crises ridden home, where husband and wife are living like they are in a hostel, that storm is over today in the Name of Jesus.
One of us here, some years back, in an operation like this, after the Service, called the runaway husband that had been impossible to settle for 9 years. “Hello, would you come and pick me up in Church?” He said, “Very well.” Church Gist. That ended it. Family could not settle it, Jesus settled it.
– Today, every form of breakdown in marriage is declared over.
Romans 8:28. Please recognize that God is the author of the institute of marriage. It is not good for a man to be alone, I will make a helpmate for him. Genesis 8:18. Malachi 3:6. Yours is next!
We should also understand that marriage is a good thing and that every good thing is our entitlement in Christ. He that findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord. Matthew 7:11
-The good thing of marriage will deliver in someone’s life today.
And this is why, every believer that so desires, has the God given right to be gloriously settled in marriage. Church Gist. God is speaking to someone here now. Every believer that so desires has the God given right to be gloriously settled in marriage.
– You shall be gloriously settled.
Marriage is also said to be honorable and serving God above all others entitled us to divine honour. John 12:26. Church Gist. Your time to be honoured is finally here.
In addition, seeking first the Kingdom of God entitles believers to divine favour and marriage is one of the manifestations of God’s favour in our lives.
– All these things that others are weeping to get shall be added to you.
You find a wife, you find a husband, you have obtained Favour from God. So, pursuit of God entitles you to Favour from God which includes glorious settlement in marriage. Yours is settled today.
No doubt, a lot of marital destinies among believers have been held in captivity by evil forces behind the scenes. But today is declared the day of escape for anyone under any marital siege. Psalm 68:6. God settles the solitary in marriage.
