Tune in to the Spirit. Church is not House of Assembly. It is interesting to know that God reaches us one by one. I was on the same bed with my wife. We slept on that bed because we were told Copeland once stayed there. In the night God visited me. We were on the same bed but it was me God visited. She had no idea of it. You better take it easy and connect on an individual basis. I saw an amputated arm in that vision because we slept praying “Whatever is in Hagin that is not in us, as we sleep let it be transmitted.” Church Gist. You take life seriously, not just sleep there and document it that we slept there. I saw that amputated arm that could not be healed. You have heard the story before. There is nothing I am telling you that you have not heard before but I need to remind you. Truth never changes. With compassion, I said “In the name of Jesus” and a brand new hand grew and God said to me “I have brought you to the creative realm of your ministry today. Can’t you see the creative realm? We were in a prayer meeting and God visited me in 1979 and I saw a huge naked harvest of grains. You have heard everything before. I was the only one who saw it. We were about 19 or 20 people in that meeting. To the point that I was crying and sobbing. You better tune in, instead of just watching and being part of the crowd. That was my first access to the state of harvest in Africa. I wasn’t called to ministry but my heart was panting for God. Church Gist. We were three of us praying and God said “Stand up and follow me.” They were still praying when I stood up and followed Him. Maybe they opened one eye to find out where I went. And God gave me four clean instructions that gave our Church her place in space. I was praying when He said “Stand up and follow me.” Tune in! All these religious prayers, it doesn’t work. Pray with your spirit. You shall seek for me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Pray with your spirit. ‘They say we should pray for pastor, okay. Pastor receives light.’
Don’t fake it, if you fake it, it will fade away if you do. When I refer to 1981, it is exact. What you fake will fade with time. You will keep changing the language. Church Gist. This morning you will pick something because the last battle you lost is the last you will ever lose.
– Whatever you say enough to today will stop.
– Irreversible matters as maybe supposed shall be reversed today.
You have prayed with your heart, God has heard you. Jesus came to bring an end to the works of the devil in our lives. When He said “It is finished” That is task concluded. You and I can now walk in liberty from every Satanic Oppression. Church Gist. Isaiah 54:14-18
– Every gang up against your destiny collapses today.
He said every tongue rising against you, you shall condemn and heaven shall confirm. What a clean Word from God.
– Today Is your day.
Every affliction of long continuance is a curse and Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us. Enough is enough. Matthew 8:17. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses and He never returned them. Enough is enough of come and go sickness. He is the Prince of peace. So your life is not ordained for turbulence and crisis. John 14:27. Church Gist. Peace is your heritage and my heritage in Christ. We have three points of joy in the Kingdom – the joy of salvation, the joy of access to the Word (Jeremiah 15:16) and the joy of the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). So you are enveloped in joy, depression is not your portion. It doesn’t belong to you. Enough is enough of depression and suicidal thoughts. Enough is enough.
We have been redeemed as stars, not as concerns, not as liabilities. He is the bright and morning star, as His Father has sent Him, so has He sent us. Revelation 22:16, John 17:18. You are not redeemed a mediocre, you are redeemed a star. You are not redeemed a beggar, He redeemed you to clothe the naked, feed the hungry, take care of the sick. Let me just say this, everyone committed to helping the needy at this time, you never know lack in your life. Proverbs 28:27. Church Gist. You heard that my daughter, she was going to give towards transportation. Business needs to nosedive, sales came down but it was in her heart. “What will I say to the coordinator, that I am not coming on?” If it is in your heart, God will put it in your hand. It was in the heart of David my father to build a house for God, so He put amazing resources in His hand and he demonstrated it (1 King 8:17). It was in his heart.
Some may even have buses that are doing nothing on Sundays but they won’t bring them out. “Ah! Fuel! ₦2000 per half litre.” If it is in your heart, God will put it in your hand. Before I had the first bank account, I said to Jesus “If you ever bless me I want to be part of building you churches.” You have heard that before. You have always heard everything. I told Jesus “I don’t want to come to heaven without 1,000 churches built to your name.” Over to you, you better wake up. Can I tell you something? Everybody is a reflection of where he belongs, it is time you start reflecting what you often see here. Church Gist. Romans 11:17-23. Every truly grafted branch is a root and partaker of the olive. So connectivity has its bona fide proof. It is a reflection of where you belong. They took knowledge of the Apostles that they had been with Christ. Acts 4:13. You can’t doubt my connectedness to the Copeland Prosperity DNA. My connectivity to the Hagin Faith DNA. The core evidence of faith is rest. It is high time the word knows that you belong here. Where stress is not in our vocabulary. There is no stress, there is no begging in our agenda and yet there is no lack. Nothing of value here is organised. It just comes on according to the agenda phase by phase.
I was in a meeting in Asaba years ago and in the morning, the Holy Ghost came on me and I said “Last night, Hagin spoke to you. This morning Copeland will speak to you.” I came under that prophetic cloak. It is time you step somewhere and they think it was David (Oyedepo) that came. It is time you step somewhere and everybody feels this is David (Oyedepo). Church Gist. Not that you are calculating, you are just flowing in that grace through genuine and sustainable connectivity. When you break off, the flow stops.
– Whatever is on your list must be turned into a testimony.
UNVEILING THE EVER WINNING WEAPON OF WISDOM. Our anchor scripture in this series is Ecclesiastes 9:18. Church Gist. We discover from scriptures that God trains His people for war by training our hands to war and our fingers to fight. Psalm 18:34-35.
Training is also part of the Abrahamic covenant. Genesis 14:14-17. We all know it’s a risk to arm an untrained soldier. We must train up to command triumph in battle. Hebrews 5:13. Church Gist. So, we need skill in engaging with the weapons of war. You know the Word is a sword of the spirit, we need skill. And that’s why spiritual warfare begins with, “be strong in the Lord”. Ephesians 6:10. Church Gist. God usually prepares us for battle behind the scene before we march conquerous in the open.
We saw Paul’s testimony in Galatians 1:11-12. He subscribed to learning at the feet of Jesus to get equipped for the task that God gave him. Church Gist. We saw in Chapter 2 of the same Galatians, how that he was locked out for 3 years in Arabia and came back to Damascus and then to Jerusalem and he saw Peter only once. So, he wasn’t tutored as it were, he subscribed to personal development engagement to build up. Church Gist. All those Olympic Stars, they work themselves out behind the scenes to emerge gold medalists in the open. Life is a battlefield, don’t approach the battles of life casually, get equipped for the battle and you’ll bring home the victory without stress. Get equipped for the battle to win the war.
Galatians 2:1-5,7-8. He just came to the same level with those who sat with Jesus for 3 and half years. We have a job to do. Church Gist. So, it is not enough to be armed, we must be strong for the battle. Proverbs 24:10. 32,000 volunteers came along with Gideon and God said, “hey, they’re too many. The first announcement, if anyone is around, let him go back”. 22,000 went back, they were not fit for the battle, remaining 10,000. When subjected to the demands of warfare, 9,700 lost out, 300 only remained, yet they won the battle. Church Gist. When Goliath spoke, all the generals of Isreal went into hiding, they were afraid, they couldn’t lift a finger until David came, who had gone through personal training in dealing with lion and the bear. He saw those testimonies and said, “look, this man will come down today. Church Gist. The man who gave me the lion and the bear, will give me this one” and he brought him down. The one thing is, he was not afraid of Goliath.
By the things that happened over the Spiritual Week of Emphasis, you have seen the weakness of the devil when compared to your new status in redemption. Church Gist. So, there’s nothing in Goliath to keep you in the holes. You’re coming out!
Just like military training can be rigorous so is training for ministry in spiritual warfare. Training is ever rigorous to make the most of it. 2 Timothy 2:3-6. Church Gist. It’s often rigorous. If you find all those stories, three days of prayer and fasting, to be equipped for victory in areas of challenge. “Why is this Church not growing?” Not just calculating mathematics and other stuff. “Why is this Church not growing”, (speaking in tongues), “you created the Church for growth, you committed yourself to the growth of the Church. ‘I will build my Church’, you said, but why is this Church not growing?”. Church Gist. First day, no sound, no voice, second day, no sound, no voice, third day, “stand up and follow me”, I heard Him, “let me show you why it’s not working”. If we didn’t do that, we’d still be there in that corner oh, where you won’t know anybody was there. You better do something about this thing that is sitting on your life and you’re watching.
“Lord, show me the secret of Kingdom prosperity”. You know, I had read, I had even preached but I’ve not found it.” When I found it I knew. Now, I’ve told this story forever to many people here. They have not tried to find it. “You know Papa likes that story a lot because he tells us every day.” Hagin said: “There has been no question that came my way that I needed more than 3 days to find an answer from God.” What we say only informs people, it’s what we do that impacts them. Acts 1:1. Church Gist. That’s the Jesus’ type – Doing what I found approved, here is the proof if you’re interested. I was telling the workers yesterday. I’ve been with Hagin (from) 1976 till date, I’m still enjoying that in his death. He went home some years back. I’m still with Copeland live (from) 1977 till date. Stop commending nonsense, stop commending yourself. The day the pipe disconnects from the mains, it runs dry. Abi there are engineers here? If you connect a pipe and you say: ‘It has been here for long, so disconnect, it should flow by itself’. You will drink oxygen. Oxygen! You need grace to walk in the light of Scriptures sir. You need grace!
-Somebody’s story is changing.
T.L. Osborn is gone to Heaven but I said: “Sir, when are you coming to Nigeria?” He said: “Nigeria? No! You’re there!” It means: What I will say is what you are saying. “You are there, because of that I’m not coming.”
-Somebody is breaking forth.
This training can be hard. I went to study the Book of Ezekiel for three days and plenty of drama happened. Why? I wanted to access the secrets of Ezekiel’s dramatic prophetic ministry. Sir, I wasn’t called to ministry oo but I know that God’s plan for the saints is as contained there not for those who are called to ministry. First day on the Mountain, satan said I will show you today. The cloud went dark. I said: “Rain stop, rain didn’t agree. There was no shelter of any kind on that Mountain. There only treasure I had there was my Bible to shield against being soaked. It rained cat and dog. I was under a tree, after the rain stopped then the tree started falling. The rain in the tree started falling. Church Gist. That one pierces like needle. I was using torchlight to study the Book of Ezekiel. The following day, sunlight came and dried the cloth on me not that I put on dryer because there is no other one to wear. When the rain started I said: “Rain you won’t stop, I won’t stop, we’re here together!” You don’t run out of the battlefield because it’s raining. You’re trained to fight in the Rain. On the third day, after I was done, no sound no voice – “Jesus! Thank You for the grace, I’m on my way back home, Amen!” “Behold! I have touched your tongue with the Coal of Fire. From henceforth as you say it, you see it.” It’s not from eba dining table, egusi soup. It’s from the war front. “Behold I’ve touched your tongue with the Coal of Fire.” When I say: “Stop there to any devil, he has no choice!” He has to! My tongue was baptized with fire.
-Somebody is breaking forth.
I read 8 books on marriage oo because it’s (for a) lifetime, I don’t want trouble. Trying to find out what makes it work. I found it! From the Lord! I couldn’t find from those books, those books were treating problems. Church Gist. I don’t want problems. When I found it I knew. I said: “I’m set for hitch free marriage Sir!” It’s now 43 years of no prayer point!
-Somebody’s story is changing!
Training is not free, it’s at a cost. It’s not money, it costs you and I inconvenience to be adequately prepared for the battle. We know from Scriptures that the Wisdom of God is the ever-winning weapon for the battles of life. Proverbs 21:22 which is the anchor Scripture for our prophetic focus for the Month. Church Gist. It is acting on the instructions of Scriptures concerning victory over the battles of our lives that we call wisdom. “Just follow My instructions, you see how weak your enemies are.” Deuteronomy 28:1 and 7. But access to the way to go about our battles is secured in 3 main ways:
1. Through prayers
James 1:5. There is no temptation around your life without a way out with God. “Lord, show me the way to deal with this issue.” That’s prayer for wisdom.
2. Through the study of the Word.
That’s where we receive instructions on how to go about the battles that confront us. 2 Timothy 4:13.
3. Through meditations.
Lord! Here is the issue. 1 Corinthians 10:13. “Jesus! What is the way out of this matter? What am I supposed to do that I’m not doing? What am I not supposed to do that I’m doing? And what am I supposed to do that I’m not doing well enough?” You are never to be blamed Jesus! Show me where I’m missing it. Church Gist. Can I tell you the problem people have? They only justify themselves against God. “Lord! There’s nothing you said that I’ve not done.” He says: “Welldone! Your failure will be permanent!” “Lord! Where am I missing it?” Job 34. We need to find out what we don’t know? We can be free from what is standing against our lives. Far be it that the Almighty will do wickedness. Far be it! God is never to blame no matter the circumstance. God is never to blame, God is always right.
I stood in the place of prayer for 28 months, “Jesus! I don’t know nothing about ministry, how do I go about it?” If you think that Architecture is ministry, you have ruptured your life. There’s no connection. I have one of my proteges then, he was a Professor, a Surgeon of medicine, ministry never worked. I laid hands on him more than twice. Church Gist. He went back to practise. This thing, revelation is in compartment. You don’t know anything about marriage, it won’t work. You don’t know anything about ministry, you’ll be preaching nonsense, nobody will listen. Everything about life requires that we know what makes it work. Can I hear your Amen? This is important.
Job 34:12. Can I have you say with me? ‘God is always right.’ Job 34:32. Romans 11:33. Until you find out what is missing, you can’t get it. 1 Corinthians 8:2. So, it’s important for us to be awake to these demands. You can’t engage His ways and lose the battle. Church Gist. Psalm 119:97,98. Mediation gets us to that realm where we become smarter than our enemies. So, following the dictates of Scriptures, believing, is key to winning the battles of life. “Whatever He tells you to do, do it” and they did and they had sweeter wine than the one they bought with their money. Man born blind, “Go to Siloam and wash. He went and washed and came back seeing.” John 9:7. That’s the way it works. Church Gist. You can’t put His Word to work, believing in battle and return defeated. But you need the right Word. The Word in season, the sent Word. That’s where the task is. Not just quoting Scriptures that don’t have any impact. But when we’re called to put up a fight, we’re redeemed to be overcomers.
– No battle is permitted to overcome us!
– Heaven is the homecoming of overcomers and that’s where you and I are going!
– So, we’re arriving Heaven as overcomers!
1 Timothy 6:12. 1 John 5:4. What is faith? Faith is what gives strength to wisdom for victory. Hebrews 11:11. Church Gist. She (Sarah) believed the Prophetic Word, but faith strengthened her to bring forth. Hebrews 11:33,34.
We have the following examples of those who engaged the weapon of wisdom to conquer their battles.
1. Moses, we saw him endued. He believed in the call of God on his life and took off to Egypt. Exodus 3:7-10; 4:17-20. He subjected himself to every instruction from the Lord and he won on every count. Church Gist. We’re also told that he was filled with the Spirit of Wisdom, because you can’t give what you don’t have. Deuteronomy 34:9. Acts 3:6. So, Moses had the wisdom of God at work in him and his faith strengthened that wisdom to deliver victory on every count, as he confronted Pharaoh. Through faith, he led them through the Red Sea. Through faith, the walls of Jericho came down flat. Church Gist. Through faith, the one that destroyed Egypt was not allowed to destroy the People of Israel. That was Moses. He engaged the weapon of wisdom, because wisdom is putting God’s Word to work, believing, which gives it strength to deliver. That was his story.
2. Gideon, the one Man General of Israel. God said, “I will deliver Israel through your hand from the hands of the Midianites, as one man” Judges 6:14,15. Church Gist. We saw how God reduced the Army from 32,000 to 300 and yet, Gideon believed, followed that instruction and God stepped in, the battle was won.
3. David, the Warrior King of Israel, stood as one man against Goliath and brought him down, by engaging the wisdom of God. Psalm 81:10. That’s what we’re doing here today. As you open your mouth wide on ‘enough is enough’ God will confirm it. He opened his mouth wide against Goliath and God turned His hand against Goliath, Goliath fell like a pack of cards. Church Gist. 2 Samuel 17:42-50. It is the Lord who will silence that ‘enough is enough’ list. He (David) was bragging on his God to do it again as He did with the lion and the bear and like that Psalm 81 said, God turned His hand against His adversary and Goliath fell like a pack of cards.
– That battle against your life will fall flat today! You believe that, let me hear your loudest Amen!
For time as we round up, the next one is Paul the Apostle, a more than conqueror Apostle endowed with unusual insight into divine secrets. He operated with the manifold wisdom of God as we saw in Ephesians 3:8-11. Here is his testimony, “I have fought the good fight.” Now, know that he is a man of faith. Church Gist. Philippians 4:13…all things! He ended up saying, “I have fought the good fight.” So when you put God’s wisdom and faith together, you always win every war. 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
How Do I Keep Growing In The Wisdom Of God That Wins The War?
1. Keep making demands for wisdom to know the way to go about your battle. James 4:2, James 1:5.
2. Keep walking in the fear of the Lord. Psalm 25:14. Daniel was a man that feared the Lord; he had access to the secrets of God and he won that impossible battle as he came out of the lion’s den without a scratch. Church Gist. Daniel 6:1-5, 20-23.
3. Stay in love with God for sustainable access to the wisdom of God. 1 Samuel 13:14. That’s what happened to David, a man with a heart for God. 1 Samuel 18:14, 2 Samuel 14:20. Church Gist. You can sustain your access to the wisdom from above through sustainable love for God.
4. Continue to demand for the enduement of the Spirit of wisdom. Luke 5:39. If you don’t change your engine oil, your engine will go off. You don’t wait for the oil to finish. When the oil does no longer have the viscosity required, you change it to preserve your engine. Church Gist. So keep making demands for the enduement of the spirit of wisdom. Isaiah 1:1-3, Ephesians 1:17-18, Isaiah 44:3. So when there is a thirst for it, He releases that.
5. Be committed to the study of the Word as Paul, the Apostle. 2 Timothy 4:13, Ephesians 4:1-5.
6. Be committed to meditation in the Word. Psalm 1:1-3, 1 Timothy 4:13,15.
7. Maintain the joy of the Lord in your heart. It’s a major bait of the devil. Without joy, there is no access to revelation. Isaiah 12:3, Philippians 1:18, Philippians 4:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:16. Church Gist. Every man that flows in revelation and with access to the deep secret things of the Lord, they flow naturally or supernaturally in joy; they flow in joy supernaturally.
– It’s your turn!
– The days of being downcast are over in your life!
– The days of depression are over in your life!
Today is our Enough is Enough Service. 2 Samuel 24:16. God had to say, it is enough before the destroyer stopped. Until you say it’s enough, it won’t stop. Church Gist. Because a servant is not greater than his master, if God had to say enough, then we must have to say for any plague to cease. John 15:20…if He had to say so, you must have to say so. John 17:18.
“Whom seek ye?” Jesus said. And they fell backward to the ground. They couldn’t hold him until He closed His mouth because He came for that purpose. Isaiah 53:7-8…it was His mission that made Him closed His mouth. Church Gist. Luke 21:15, Psalm 81:10-14.
– So today, as you engage the power in your tongue with faith in your heart, every item of your enough is enough list will deliver testimonies!
John 18:4-6. Thank you Jesus!
– Everything that is responsible for your enough is enough list will fall to the ground!
But it is not what we say that matters but what we say without doubting the same in our hearts. Mark 11:23. Church Gist. You shall not doubt in your heart, you shall have whatever you say. Question. Is God able to stop that thing today? Do you believe He will stop it today? Because His Word says today is your day of salvation and that now is your accepted time. Are you set to see it stop? He will stop it.
Also remember, it is what we condemn that God confirms. I am the Lord that confirmeth the words of my servant and performs the Word of my messengers Isaiah 44:26. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, every tongue that rises up against you shall condemn. Isaiah 54:17. You shall condemn. Enough is enough! I am a Child of The Most High God. There is no sickness in my lineage, I belong to the Family of God. Enough is enough. Church Gist. Jesus is the first born and I am in the family. Whatever does not run in that family is not permitted in my life. Failure is not in that family, it is not my portion.
Please, understand this wisdom network of scriptures. Every child of God is now a member of God’s own household. Your biological lineage is inferior to your spiritual lineage. Where you belong, failure is not there, defeat is not there, frustration is not there, sickness is not there. You are free.
Remember all the time that our spiritual authority is domicile in our mouth. Church Gist. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Enough! Christ already paid the price. Enough! Sickness does not glorify God. Enough! No father rejoices at the failure of his child. Enough! No father celebrates the joblessness of his son. Enough!
Please note that ‘enough is enough’ is at the command of the individual’s faith. Believe in your heart, that your victory over the battles of life has been long predetermined. So you are not struggling to make it happen. At salvation, you are raised up together with Christ above the realms of failure, defeat, frustration, disease. Church Gist. Above it. Far above it! Already predetermined. Whatever is born of God is born to overcome the world, recognize that Satan is now under your feet.
Ephesians 1:22-23. He is the Head of the church. Whatever is under His feet is under the feet of the Church. That issue is under His feet, so it is under your feet. Church Gist Romans 16:20. When you know it. When you come to discover that he is under your feet, you will bruise him. So today, that uprising shall be bruised. Let me hear your loudest Amen. So your cry of faith today will bring an end to any form of siege in your life. Psalm 56:9. It’s enough. Enough of business struggles. My enemies will turn back. Thank you Jesus.
Bartimeus cried and he got his sight back. Matthew 11:22, the force of faith that is built on the Wisdom of God. The Wisdom of the Word. You are acting on the Word to exercise your faith. You are bound to win.
Finally, to see to our all round rest, we must continue to renew our covenant to serve God and the interest of His Kingdom as a lifestyle. Keep renewing it. Don’t let it go stale.
