There are some one time encounters, there are life long encounters and there are generational encounters. They are all in degrees. What I caught in 1976 cannot be said to be a one time encounter or a lifelong encounter, it was a generational encounter because coming generations have picked it. They are running with it and they will pass it to the generations after them and they will run with it. It was one encounter in one little room. Church Gist. That’s the kind of encounter to watch out for this morning. Something that will keep driving your life from one realm of glory to another. That is something to look out for. Something that will hit you once and stay with you all through life. What you don’t expect, you don’t experience. “Behold, I will do a new thing.” It is a thing that you have never seen that God wants to do in your life and today is that day.
- The passion of Jesus will come upon your life.
- You shall leave here baptized in the passion of Jesus.
If He so loved us to lay His life down, then we ought to lay our lives for our brethren. Church Gist. The passion of Jesus is coming upon you. - It will keep catapulting your life forward in the name of Jesus.
A new era connotes new chapters, new dawn, new beginning, things never known or seen before.
We will be doing the last part of this teaching series, UNVEILING THE RESURRECTION ROOT OF OUR SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY IN REDEMPTION and today we will be looking at the subject of passion. Church Gist.Passion For God Enhances The Spiritual Authority Of Believers. Jesus without any official status, invaded the temple and made whips and chased out of the temple all that buy and sell. John 2:13-17. Passion for God confers spiritual authority.
John 4:34. Jesus had authority over hunger. They saw him actively engaging with the woman at the well and they were wondering if someone had brought Him food. “My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me.” Church Gist. Passion for God gives you authority over physical limitations. At a point, they thought he was mad because there was no room to even take bread. Passion for God enhances the believer’s spiritual authority.
Paul the Apostle was a mystery. 1 Corinthians 9:17. Philippians 1:21. He had clean dominion over death. Clean! How clean was it? He was lost in the sea overnight and got back to doing his duty. “I am between two opinions whether to go or stay, but for your sake I will stay.” Church Gist. Unusual authority. A venomous viper wound itself around Paul and when they bite you on that island, you swell and fall down and die. He shook it into the fire and he felt no hurt. Acts 28:1-6. Passion for God endued him with spiritual authority. To be passionless is to be defenceless.
You saw Abraham told to get out of his country as a 75 year old, he didn’t know where he was going. Passion for God. “Circumcise all the males born in your household”. That’s a bloody one but he began with himself at 99. Passion for God. God said He wanted to destroy Sodom, He said “Please don’t. Can I say something? If you find 50, will you still destroy it?” Church Gist. Passion for God and whatever God loves, passion for God drives you in that direction. See how he became the father of generations without end. In the name of Jesus, I pray for the grace for enduement of sustainable passion for God in everyone’s life.
Moses chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy pleasure for a season. Passion! He was a general in Pharaoh’s army and he said “No, this can’t continue.” At 80, God called him. He responded. Church Gist. He took his life in his hand and headed for Egypt, passion! There was no prophet in Israel like Moses. Passion. He demonstrated raw authority over the gods of Egypt, over Pharoah, over the taskmasters. Authority! He could not be handled, he could not be confronted. It is ignited love that culminates in passion. When love gets on fire, passion comes alive.
At 19, I had this awesome opportunity to serve as a relief teacher and I got to the place and there was no church there, nothing. Where African Church or American Church, nothing. Whether Protestant or Non- Protestant. “Jesus, see that I do not leave this place, the way I met it.” I was 19 years old. What is your business? You are going to be here for 72 days. Who are you? Are you a pastor? No, I have passion. Church Gist. Passion has a stronger place than a pastor. Then I stumbled on a global ministry, “The light you brought to our village, let it shine round the world.” Now we are in this service now, maybe 143 nations, maybe 146, maybe 177 nations depending on how many and where they are. Passion confers spiritual authority.
One of our beloved elders is here, when we were moving into Canaanland, he said “What of the old people who cannot get here.” I said they should go to any other church. That means our ministry to them is over. I will rather sink with God than shine without Him. Passion! You react to small small things because you can’t see the future in it. Church Gist. God said this is the place, forget about who comes or doesn’t come. I said if my wife says no, I will still come. When they see me flying, they will all come. I don’t have a problem. Who can separate me from the love of God? No one. My wife won’t say she won’t come. Wherever I go she goes.
You better wake up. My love for God is absolutely unconditional. No! My ideas are suspended when God speaks, my opinions are discarded when God speaks. Your ultimate position in life is a function of your passion for God. Church Gist. Every believer’s ultimate position in this Kingdom is a function of his passion for God. Whatever makes more meaning to you than God disqualifies you.
I was up in the night watching the video of the Olubadan Stadium Crusade of Archbishop Benson Idahosa and as I saw the afflicted, I was in tears. I said “God, help me to be a part of the solution to this affliction.” I turned off the light and I was caught up with God. The affliction was too much. I saw adults being carried on the back to an evening meeting in the morning. I turned off the light and suddenly I heard the footsteps of an invisible guest behind me on the carpet of that sitting room. Church Gist. Instead of fear, I was filled with awe. He reached out his hand and touched my back. Something like warm water came down my spine. Sunday morning, miracle explosion. It culminated in what we called Pentecost Flames in Kaduna. July 1987. Nights of dangerous miracles. Passion for God confers believers with spiritual authority.
1st of January 1986, I had over-fasted myself so I began coughing blood. I rushed to the washroom, my wife followed and blood only came out. You don’t need any transfusion of blood, they just take it and give it to somebody else. My wife said we should go home. Church Gist. I said no, if it is the last one I will preach before I meet Jesus. I will do it. I was coughing, I was preaching but some fellows got saved. By the time the meeting was over, I was like a rope. I was lifeless, I would rather die for Him. Passion for God is what defines every believer’s ultimate position with God.
Jesus will be moved with compassion and then authority will just be displayed. Jesus was moved with compassion and He healed the sick. The leper said “If you can heal me…” He touched him. They don’t touch lepers. No! Church Gist. Unction flows through passion. The more passionate a man, the stronger the unction that flows through him. There is no place that genuine passion for God cannot take a man. 1 Corinthians 2:9.
Gideon was burning with passion. Where are all the miracles our fathers told us about? How long will this assault of the Midianites continue? God said “Come on here, I will deliver Israel from the hands of the Midianites through you as one man.” Eh? Passion set the pace for the authority conferred on him. Judges 6:1-14. Church Gist. His passion to see the Israelites rescued from the assault of the Midianites conferred spiritual authority on him. From 32,000 volunteers, God reduced them to 300 and by the sword of the Lord and the Sword of Gideon, they routed the Midianites. It’s passion.
Elijah was a strange man, his passion for God catapulted into the realm of the Heavenlies, Elijah went up to Heaven by the chariots of fire. 1 Kings 18:21-24. 1 Kings 19:10,44. You saw the passion of Elijah defined here. 1 Kings 19:14. Church Gist. You can’t be passionate and not know sir. You can’t be passionate for God and not know. If my passion were for things, I’d stop pursuing Him, He has over blessed me with things. And can I tell you what? There’s nothing of value in my hand that I prayed for. I’ve been riding on the wings of Matthew 6:33. “You seek my Kingdom first and all these things that others are dying to get shall be added to you”. That’s my flight. Church Gist. I’ve never prayed to know a man, “Lord, let me know this man”. Sir, I’ve not prayed, “Lord, give me a car”. Is it wrong? No. It’s added. I saw it added before it becomes real. Everybody has passion but passion for different things.
-May you shift your passion to God today! It’ll make a lot of difference in your life.
Passion moves you, you’re not hanging somewhere trying to pose to be religious.
-somebody’s story is changing.
Everybody has one passion or another. Some are so passionate about telephone, if their telephone is missing, their temperature goes up, everything, temperature, high blood pressure, sugar, water, that’s his life. Passion. Church Gist. Some have passion for food, anything food, “this is good”. When they sit around food, they’re like reigning, they sit on the throne, “this is just good. Can I have more of this? Please come”. Praise God.
In those my traveling days, they served something to read, is it menu. I gave to those with me, “read the menu”. I have only one menu, I don’t have too many menu. Praise God. Church Gist. Everybody has passion for something, very few have passion for God, even Church People, including Founders.
-in the Precious Name of Jesus, the passion behind this commission that has kept it going from strength to strength becomes your portion today!
-You’re leaving here with the oil of passion, unstoppable passion, undying passion that will keep adding colour to your life.
What gave David his place was passion. A Man with a heart for God and he demonstrated that in front of Goliath. 1 Samuel 17:45. And conferred authority on him to bring Goliath down. Church Gist. It was not his stone that brought Goliath down, it was the authority of Heaven that planted the stone in the forehead of Goliath and he came down. Why? He was driven by his passion for God. Authority came to justify him.
-The same is coming your way!
1 Samuel 17:32-50.
Then, Nehemiah burning with passion for the afflicted people in Jerusalem and for the walls of Jerusalem that was broken down and God gave him one dangerous kind of favour that should not apply to anybody of his status forever. Church Gist. I mean, a cup bearer in the palace asking for Soldiers to be given to him, for letter to be given to him to collect wood and all that to go and build the City that this King destroyed. What kind of thing is that? And the Lord gave him favour according to the hand of God upon him. Nehemiah 2:8. Why? Church Gist. Passion brought him to a new realm of authority. Passion for God. That’s how passion enhances the spiritual authority of believers.
What will you do as God keeps changing your level in advancing His Kingdom, that would tell you at what rate He will change your level. “Lord, if you ever bless me, I want to be part of building you Churches”. Church Gist. And that came from an encounter from a Local Church that was asking how much they should pay for the design of their little Church. I saw Churches being built 20 years, 30 years, uncompleted. “Lord, if you ever bless me, I want to see this proverb erased, ‘as poor as Church rat’. Sir, I had no bank account oh but I had a heart panting after God, “I want to be part of building you Churches”. Okay, what is in your heart? What can you define as in your heart for God as He keeps raising you. Church Gist. And God is careful raising you because He might miss you. He enlarges you to a point, He can’t see you again, you have left. “Let me go and finish this first then I’ll come back”. We need sustainable passion to keep experiencing God’s glory and favour in our lives. Thank you Jesus.
Can anybody claim to have passion for God and can’t get three souls for 8 weeks? Now 8 weeks is not over now, we have 5 days more or 6 to go and you can’t get it because there’s no passion. Church Gist. You can’t push a car without fuel to start. You can’t motivate a passionless man into action. We’d soon be closing in this service and so, you have a whole day to get three people because tomorrow there’s work. “Jesus, show me where my harvest is today”. There’s no WSF today, there’s nothing. “Show me where my harvest is today”. Okay, what’s driving me on the field? Passion, nothing but passion. Church Gist. I’ve been ministering and tears will be coming out of my eyes as I see people just wandering into trouble without knowing it.
This is Winners Worldwide this morning, may each one’s passion come alive! May your passion for God come alive today! Thank you Jesus.
As our passion for God grows, our spiritual authority grows to match. Why? 1 John 4:16. And as we grow in love, we’re getting filled in a process with the fullness of God. Jeremiah 32:27. Church Gist. So, we step into the realm of boundless authority. Nobody is there, we’re growing up into it. As our love begins to grow, our divine content continues to grow and our spiritual authority begins to grow along. Ephesians 3:17-19. So, it’s a growing virtue. Church Gist. Love has an unlimited capacity for growth, we keep growing our love for God and by so doing, growing our authority in God. Thank you Jesus.
We were on our way to Kano, 1998, May 4 and I said, “Jesus, we’re on your mission and we’re entitled to your protection. Amen” and then again, I said, “Jesus, we’re on your mission and we’re entitled to your protection”. Church Gist. I had no idea what was going to happen, we lost one engine after 30 minutes into flight. “we’re on your mission and we’re entitled to your protection”. Passion positions you for authority. Not, “we’re on your mission, let us have your protection”, no, “we’re on your mission and we’re entitled to your protection”. Church Gist. Sir, as you live your life for God, there’s nothing to fear. Perfect love casts out fears. 1 John 4:18.
Sir, when you grow in life, the things that others fear, they fear you. They’ll not announce it oh but they fear you. When you arrive in your village, all the witches move their base of operation to another place because the Master has come. Amen. Church Gist. Even your shadow is a threat to them because of the level of Divine content that your love for God has brought you in.
-Somebody is changing level. Thank you Jesus.
Like I mentioned earlier, it is our ignited love for God that culminates in our passion for God and that’s what makes believers more than conquerors. Church Gist. It is love that makes believers more than conquerors because of divine covering, not divine presence now, divine covering, he dwells in God. Psalm 24:7. So, you’re covered by the Lord of Hosts, so, when you’re approaching everlasting doors, they didn’t see you, they saw Him and they lift up their heads.
-can I hear your Amen.
We were in one country one time and there was this notorious witch that was in town, she came down that same morning with pumps and pageantry at the airport, all demonic drums and she checked into the hotel, Queen herself. Church Gist. We landed after all that nonsense, went to the same hotel, no idea, no information. As soon as we landed in the hotel, she took off. She didn’t see me, she saw Heaven. You dwell in love, you dwell in God. So, it’s not you, it’s God. The more you’re in love with Him, the thicker the covering. Church Gist. We were not going to that country to get anything from them, we were going there to give them the little that God gave us. Please, open your heart, every grace available in your spiritual family is your right. Matthew 10:8.
-May the passion of Jesus at work in me flow through to everyone here today.
Because everything good in our lives comes from God. Every value-adding virtue comes from God. James 1:17. Church Gist. So when you find passion manifesting itself without any struggle to make it happen, it’s a gift. Matthew 10:8.
-So this morning, I freely release the passion of Jesus in my life to your life.
That passion was demonstrated when I was 19 and it’s still manifesting now. Church Gist. Whatever the Lord doeth is forever when you maintain your place in God.
-Therefore, may the passion of Christ today that’s flowing into your life stay there for life. Thank You Jesus!
Please note that passion that cannot be seen is fake. 2 Kings 10:16. They saw Jesus whipped out of the Temple. “Ah! This is what is written, the zeal of Thine House has consumed me.” Church Gist. Matthew 15:32-38. “Lest they faint as they go.” Passion! He was filled with compassion and healed their sick. Matthew 9:36. Matthew 14:14. Mark 6:34. He is ever touched by the feeling of our infirmities – ever touched.
If the love for God is at the root of passion for God, question: what is love? Please take note of this.
- In our context, love is a God-first lifestyle. Psalm 34:10. Matthew 22:36-40.
- What is love? It’s a Kingdom priority lifestyle. Matthew 6:33. Church Gist. Kingdom first and from where we are.
- What is love? It’s placing God above all else including oneself. Luke 24:26-27. The word ‘hate’ there is relative. That is, if you love Me more than you love anybody else including yourself. You cannot be My disciple. What is love in our context?
- It is loving what God loves and hating what He hates. Psalm 139:21-22. Church Gist. You love what God loves and hate what God hates. 1 John 2:15-17.
- It is making God our point of reference on all issues. Please listen, no civilization will ever overtake the truth. 2 Corinthians 13:8. Young people in the house listen, you can do nothing against the truth but for the truth. The love of God is making God our point of reference on all issues. Psalm 129:97. Making God our point of reference on all issues. Don’t classify any issue as personal to me. Church Gist. The Bible covers all the walks of this life. 2 Peter 1:3. God should remain our point of reference on all issues of our life as a show of our love for Him. That is love in biblical terms. So you can find yourself in it. Am I in love or I’m trying to be in love? How much of this definition is applicable to me now? What am I willing to do to align? We are in the era of the lovers of God and I can tell you this, every genuine lover of God is ordained to be a highflyer anyday, anytime and in every generation.
R.G. LeTourneau, a roadside mechanic, proved to be a major inventor. He said there may not be any technical reason for the invention of this massive digger but there’s a theological reason. He said they should inscribe on his tomb: “Matthew 6:33.” He was lost in God and found in the World. Michael Faraday named the Man of Science of the year of the 20th Century, an avowed, addicted lover of Jesus, a preacher of the Gospel yet the Man of Science of the 20th Century. Church Gist. Love for God does not reduce people, it promotes them. You can’t love God and not know that you do. I know that I love Him, the devil knows that I love Him, my enemies know that I love Him they may not say it. You get into a love with God to a point where whosoever touches you touches the apple of His eye. You get to a point where you get married to Him, when they see you they see Him. You become Mrs. – Mrs Jesus. Let’s stop faking it!
-In the precious name of Jesus, no one in the Winners Family will be left behind. The passion for God will keep driving your destiny and from glory to glory. Church Gist. You’ll never know a setback anymore in your life.
Let God be true and all men liars. What is in our love for God? Please take note of this: Because when you know what is in something, it’s easier for you to make your decision to buy into it.
- Love enhances unimpeded access to revelation. John 15:15. So love qualifies us to the realms of revelation that no effort in study will ever get you into. Church Gist. You open (the Bible) and one verse becomes like 10 chapters by the unveiling of the light of Heaven. And you know, our destiny is a function of the revelation of the Word of God at work in us. Isaiah 60:1. Psalm 119:130. Isaiah 60:22.
-Your level is changing
The love of God opens unusual door to revelation. 1 Corinthians 2:9. The lovers of God have access to the deep things of God.
- Love empowers our faith to deliver maximally. 1 Corinthians 13:2. Why? Faith works by love. Galatians 5:6. Church Gist. It’s our level of love for God that defines the level at which our faith can produce. Faith works to the level of our love for God.
- Our love for God empowers obedience that engenders supernatural breakthroughs. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. John 14:21. Church Gist. So it enhances our obedience which engenders supernatural breakthroughs. All these blessings will come to you and overtake you.
- Love empowers believers to live a failure-proof life.
-Therefore the last failure you saw in any area of your life is the last you will ever see.
1 Corinthians 13:8. Genuine love for God puts a believer above failure. Church Gist. Charity faileth but because you’re covered by God and He dwells in you and that casts out all fear and fear is the bait of failure.
-You’re free. Listen to me, from this time onward, only success will be identified with you.
- Love enhances access to the anointing. Psalm 89:20-24. Every genuine lover enjoys fresh oil. Why? Psalm 23:5. And that is God, your covering. You know He’s there all the time and what He does with His presence is to keep anointing us with fresh oil to overflowing. The anointing was overflowing upon David, he was speaking precisely of the birth of Jesus, the passion of Jesus, the crucifixion of Jesus, resurrection of Jesus – knowing afar off. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 2:10. So He knew afar off. Acts 2:30. So he knew afar off by that anointing. Every genuine lover of God enjoys the fresh flow of unction. They don’t run oil dry. The Man, Paul was anointed to the teeth at all times – Inside the sea, anointed; dragged out of town for death, anointed in the region of death he came back. So if you know all these that the love of God attracts, then it’s wisdom to buy into it.
-Your lifting has come. It’s your turn at last. Everything is turning in your favour.
- Loves makes the believer indestructible. You know love is as strong as death. Those 3 Hebrew boys said “We’re not careful to answer you in this matter.” What was speaking in them was love that has been ignited to passion. Church Gist. “We’ll never bow to your graven image. Do your worst” and the fourth Man showed up and bailed them out of the fire. Love makes believers indestructible.
- Now watch, in the name of Jesus, destruction shall not be heard in your dwelling place.
- Wasting and destruction shall not be heard at thy gate.
What the Bible say is that, “He yielded their body that they should not serve any other god.” So, there is a yielding of the body, where you dwell in love, you dwell in God and you can’t consume God, He’s a consuming fire. Come on now! Love makes the believer indestructible.
- None of your children will be destroyed.
- None of your grandchildren will be destroyed.
- You will not know destruction again in your household. Thank you, Jesus.
- Love enhances access to wisdom from above. The Man, David the Lover, was said to be as smart, as wise as an Angel of God. Church Gist. 2 Samuel 14:20. Solomon loved the Lord and the Lord decked him with wisdom that made him wiser than all men of his time.
- Love enhances our access to supernatural wealth. What David gave towards the Temple was more than what all the elders of Israel gave. 1 Chronicles 29:3-12. Church Gist. When you are in love with God, you have affection towards the affairs of the Kingdom. You are not being pushed, you are just flowing in it and the blessing keeps multiplying in your life.
- Love engenders access to divine strength. Isaiah 40:28-31. When you are in love, you are wearing God. Church Gist. Isaiah 40:28 and that’s where love brings you into.
- So, the days of weakness are over in your life.
- Receive that divine strength right now.
- With the love of God at work in us, great things continue to happen on their own accord. Church Gist. Great things keep happening on their own accord. Why? You are under His covering. Whatever can’t stop Him, can’t stop you. Matthew 6:33.
The Good news is the Spirit of love is coming afresh upon your life today. 2 Timothy 1:7. Romans 5:5.
- In this Service today, I see the Holy Ghost firing the love of God afresh into everyone’s heart.
- Great things shall begin to happen on their own accord in your life from now.
- God will turn you to a surprise to yourself this year in the name of Jesus Christ.
As we round up this morning, these are some of the proofs of being in love with Jesus.
- Genuine love endues unequal passion for God in the believer.
- It opens the door to encounters with God.
- It gets believers addicted to Kingdom promotion endeavours. Church Gist. When you are in love, these are the things that manifest in your life.
- It gets believers addicted to the study of the Word. Psalm 119:97-100,162.
- It gets believers addicted to fellowship. Psalm 112:1; 84:1-11.
- It ignites passion for souls. John 21:15-17.
- Genuine love for God engenders delightsome obedience. You’re not struggling with instructions from God, from His Word, you’re just obeying it. Psalm 112:1-3.
- It secures commitment to stewardship. Serving God becomes a thing of joy and delight.
- It also engenders delightsome commitment to giving towards Kingdom advancement endeavours.
- It opens your eyes to the needy around you and commits you to helping according to the blessing of the Lord upon your life and what that does among other things – Psalm 41:1-3. These are all things you can check whether they’re on at work in you or not.
But the Good news this morning is this, ‘Do you love me?’ Is first a choice before one is empowered to sustain it in season and out of season. It begins with a choice. Church Gist. I wasn’t baptized with the Holy Spirit 1973, no. I got baptized in 1975, but I had uncheckered passion for Jesus by the enabling grace of God. Amen. So, you are much better positioned to make that choice.
- If you make this year your most spiritual year till date, you will laugh. He will make you to laugh!
Stop playing politics in Church. Stop playing politics in service groups. Stop playing nonsense. Just love Jesus. Don’t be a concern to the group where you are. Just love Jesus and if you understand this and I will say it again, that every of your position with God is absolutely to your benefit. You position well to your benefit. You position wrongly to your disadvantage. Church Gist. God will not be anymore God than He is, no matter what a believer does. Therefore, over to you. He asked Simon 3 times, “Do you love me?” I’ll like you to answer that question today before Him and unto Him. Don’t answer it to anybody else next to you. Answer that question before Him and to Him.
Before then, wherever you are this morning, you have heard the wonders of ignited love of God, how passion reposition believers for a most colourful life. But, only the living can love, only the living can be passionate. 1 John 5:12. Church Gist. I did one teaching here, talking about the foundation of our spiritual authority that’s talking about new birth and the proofs of new birth from Scriptures. Please, access that. Let’s stop a make-up. Let’s become real.
Altar Call
How many will say with me, “God is no respecter of persons.” I can’t love God the way Abraham loved God and not see what Abraham saw. I can’t love God the way David loved God and not be blessed the way David was blessed. Church Gist. I can’t be passionate about God like Gideon was and not experience a dramatic change of story. I can’t be passionate for the things of the Kingdom like Nehemiah did and not see the wonders of God in my life. I can’t love God the way my Father in the Lord here does and not see what he sees.
- In the precious name of Jesus, no one will count himself out. You will not count yourself out in the precious name of Jesus.
Now, you’re going to answer that question before the Lord. Everybody, stand to your feet. Jesus is out here in the Temple this morning saying, “do you love me?” It’s a question that must be answered between you and God. Jesus asked Simon Peter, he answered Jesus back. Church Gist. He’s asking me and you this morning, “Do you love me?” Would you go ahead and give Him the answer and receive grace to keep loving Him more. Give Him the answer. “Do you love me?”
“Lord, I love you, I need grace to love you the more.”

Now, a very respectable Man of God that my wife and I love so much, he said to me, because then in our time, going into full time ministry was not popular. He said don’t and I told her, I said, “Lord, should I pretend not to have heard you seeing that I’ve done something like any other thing I do? ‘Emi ni mo gbo funrami o’ (I was the one that heard it oh) I burn the bridge against my life.” Church Gist. Passion will give you motion. A senior colleague of mine said, “David, how much saving do you have?” I said nothing, if I have anything I will finish it because He said, “carry no purse, nor scrip.” I’m in His hand. I’ve never begged or lacked. Passion! Passion for God will translate to passion for His Word. You can’t have passion for Him and not have passion for His Word. Whatever He says is final.
- Now, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I decree that everyone’s love for Jesus be ignited to passion.
- It will be manifest in your prayer life with unusual fervency.
- It will show in your pursuit after souls that’s always gunning for results.
- It will show in your giving life. It will become a delight to you in the name of Jesus.
You know, God’s romance may be costly. He said, ‘My Son, I’m pleased with you.’ Oh yeah, goose pimples all over my body. ‘But what have you brought for me?’ ‘Lord, what do I have? Oh, my salary. I give it to you.’ It was the most precious treasure of our lives then. How much was it? 1,386 Naira. I said “Lord, I give it to you.” That was December 1987. Nobody heard it from my mouth until 1996 when it has become a testimony with my own accountant working for me. Church Gist. My wife asked me the following month, “what about upkeep salary?” I said, “I have laid it on the altar. So we are free to be hungry.” That was the last time she asked. Sir, when you hear stories, check the story behind the story. We are not faking this thing here.
I am not prosperous by chance, it’s by covenant – dangerous act of sacrifice as prompted by the Holy Ghost. We were starting our Church planting and fund was not coming and I said, “Jesus, why is fund not coming in?” He said, “give me that thing.” Then I told my wife, “God said, he wanted that thing.” She said, “praise the Lord.” He said to me in my ears on our way home, “my son, even if you don’t want to be rich, it’s too late.” Church Gist. It was a sworn…Sir, I’m carrying a sworn blessing of prosperity. It’s not by mechanical arrangement. He said, “my son, David, even if you don’t want to be rich, it’s too late. You mean I told you to do (this) and you did it?” With joy!
- Somebody’s life is changing!
Did you ask me at my 70th birthday? I said, “look, I don’t need a gift from you. Bring a soul to Jesus.” I wasn’t bragging. How many cars will I ride at a time? Your passion for God is key to your destination. Your passion for this God is key to your destination and what a blessing? Church Gist. Our Church went to that village of 1973 and gave them power and bought computers for their Secondary School; 1973 seed still speaking. What if it’s fake? What if it’s not true? Be true! Be genuine!
- As this oil comes on you today, the yoke of spiritual passivity is over!
- The yoke of careless Christian life is over!
- This anointing shall be to you an enduement of the spirit of love!
- It will keep igniting your passion for Jesus!
- Because the fiery furnace could not destroy the passionate, no gang up of hell will destroy your destiny!
- By this anointing, your own 3 souls is no longer negotiable!
- They will be standing by you on the 26th!
- And it will be the beginning of an adventure in your walk with Jesus!
- Doing that will become a way of life for you in the name of Jesus! So shall it be!
All over the World, we are engaging the Shiloh mantle at this time. First, I will like you to know that these clothing materials from Scriptures are carriers of the unction of the priest. Church Gist. That whatever works in the hand of the priest begins to work in your hand. When that mantle came upon Elisha, “where is the God of Elijah?” And He showed up and Jordan was parted.
- Now as this mantle touches your forehead and touches the one in your hand, everything that parts the way for this Commission and for His servant that is the Sent Man over this Commission will start parting the way for you!
- Wherever that prophetic mantle is found, the red sea will give way!
- Jordan will be driven back!
- The mountain will skip like rams!
- And the hills like young lambs in the name of Jesus!
- It shall be an instrument of special miracles in your hand, first on your life and for those you minister to!
- The mantle today shall be an instrument of special miracles both in your hand and those that you minister to in the name of Jesus! So shall it be!
Acts 18:11-12. Now, watch this morning;
- As this mantle comes on your forehead, any activity of evil spirit gets off your life!
- Every manipulation of evil spirit loses its grip on you!
This mantle has wrought amazing special miracles and it’s still doing that till now. Church Gist. It has brought many dead back to life. It has restored health to many.
- This morning, whatever is your desire for a special miracle, it is delivered!
- By this prophetic mantle today, that terminal disease is over!
- That my daughter said, the wound dried up – the breath of life. Church Gist. That breath of Jesus that He breathed on them when He rose from the dead, that breath is still here and that breath blows across your life in the name of Jesus!
- Therefore, all over the World at this time, these mantles have been prayed over and they go over right now to deliver our desires! And so shall it be!
- I decree the invasion of special miracles!
- Growth will fly out!
- Discomfort will dissolve!
- Whatever represents an uproar in your life will be calm!
- And whatever works in these hands, start working in your hand from now!
- May this impart undying passion on your life, undying love for God in your life and so shall it be!
- Thank you Heavenly Father and blessed be your name! Amen!
It’s your faith that taps into the virtue not the rubbing of it. Please, take note. Thank you Jesus! I like you to approach this with faith. It’s not a magic wand, it’s an instrument of power, it’s for impartation of grace and you will receive it now. Church Gist. Let your expectation be strong, let it be unshakeable and watch out for it.
Among others, expect impartation of the spirit of love and expect impartation of passion after the order of what you see here now in the name of Jesus! The anointing that came upon Aaron’s head is the same that came down his beards and on his garment and on his skirt. Church Gist. Every grace on the head of any spiritual setting is the entitlement of everyone connected.
- Therefore, may the oil of passion burning in my life flow through you!
- That mantle is an extension of the grace upon the prophet sent over your life. Now in the precious name of Jesus, I declare your days of struggling over!
- We don’t struggle to make things happen here. Your days of struggling for things to happen, they are over!
- When you are in love with God, great things are ordained to keep happening on their own accord. Church Gist. Therefore, as this anointing oil comes on your head, I decree an enduement with the spirit of love that will keep you rolling for Jesus like roller coaster effortlessly engineered by the power of the Holy Ghost!
- That shall be your portion! Thank you Jesus!
1 Samuel 16:13. After this oil is proclaimed blessed, it becomes a conveyor of the spirit of the Lord and we are out here today to demand for the flow of the spirit of love that will make God first, make His Kingdom first come alive in each one’s life!
- In the same vein, every yoke of the wicked that may still remain because Jesus came out of the grave and blasted the graves opened and all the dead came out, now, whatever has been held down by the devil till this moment in this Convention, because God has opened the grave, you are coming out!
- Every yoke of family upheaval, family unrest, family chaos, the grave is opened!
- Every yoke of sickness and disease, terminal or temporary, the grave is opened!
- Every siege of career failure, career stagnation, the graves are opened!
- Every siege of frustration and depression and suicidal thoughts, the graves are opened!
- Every siege of nightmares, sweating out of sleep, struggling without ending, the grave is opened!
- Every siege of barrenness is over!
- Every siege of marital spell is over!
- Every siege of marital delay is over!
- Every siege of wayward children is over!
- Your children will love God more than you do!
- They will serve God more than you do in the name of Jesus!
- And by this anointing, whatever remains of your own target for this ongoing Supernatural Change of Story Season shall be supplied!
- The Holy Ghost will direct you to where your harvest is waiting!
- There shall be over riped harvest!
- As you touch them with the Word, they will drop!
- So shall it be! Thank you Jesus!
And what more? Please, listen to this and listen very well. Next Sunday, the 26th (April) is the D-date for this ongoing Prophetic Season and it shall be our Showers of Blessings Service. Sir, everyone I bless with this tongue is blessed. I have a received a commandment from the Lord and He confirms it time and again. Church Gist. And every of our Churches is an extension of here, every blessing proclaimed this Sunday in response to our stewardship since the year began, shall be answered like fire! “What is next Sunday Service? Showers of Blessings. It’s coming upon whose life?”
You know, His blessings always trail our obedience. May your obedience be fulfilled this week!
- He will turn things around like a dream of the night!
- That’s what He specializes in doing and He will do it in your life!
- (Lift up those bottles right now) The content of the bottles in your hand is hereby declared the Holy anointing oil!
- It shall deliver as declared!
- It shall bring supernatural healing to your bodies!
- Healing to your soul! Healing to your spirit!
- It shall destroy all barriers on the path of your destiny!
- It shall open new chapters to your life!
- Your passion for God will come alive!
- Your love for God will keep burning!
- As the Lord lives, before the 40 days prophetic appearance of Christ is over which is starting today and ending 30th of May, you will see wonders!
“He was seen of them, 40 days” and He’s the same yesterday, today and forever. We have just celebrated His resurrection. So the next 40 days, He has vowed to keep appearing to us.
- So within the next 40 days, as He appears to you, barriers will disappear!
- Fears will disappear!
- Failures will disappear!
- Family crisis will disappear!
- Marital spell will disappear in the name of Jesus! So shall it be!
Please, watch out like the sons of Issachar; they know what Israel ought to do at each time. Prophetically, God gave this Word to us that “I will keep appearing to my people 40 days after my resurrection” and we have seen amazing appearances.
- You are the next in line!
Now, all that believe, put a little of this oil which has now become anointing oil on your finger tip and now to your forehead and begin to proclaim the enduement of the Spirit of love, ignited to passion. Begin to take your special miracles right now. See every yoke in your life, every yoke in your environment, every yoke on your health, every yoke on your business and career, begin to proclaim then destroyed. And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Church Gist. That yoke is destroyed and it is destroyed now!
Your love for God is back in full force, your passion for God is burning in hot temperature. That marital spell is destroyed. That your barrenness is destroyed. Church Gist. In Jesus precious Name we have prayed. It is done!
- Everything declared delivers with speed in your life
- Your testimony starts after this Service
- The next 40 days will be days of unusual testimony
Christ will be appearing to you at will. On your way to work, on your way back from work, you step into the bathroom, you are in the washroom, you are in the kitchen. Church Gist. The next 40 days, beginning from now to 30th May, Jesus will manifest himself to you. As He does, He will be opening new chapters in the Name of Jesus. So shall it be
Now, take your mantles and wave it to heaven, that is your flag. You have taken over in the name of Jesus
When you take territory in a company, you hoist your flag. Church Gist. You have taken over a territory. Now, give the Lord the biggest hand of praise. Help me congratulate your neighbor to your right and to your left and please get seated for a moment.
Thank you Jesus. Is somebody blessed this morning?Are you blessed this morning? Winners Worldwide, are you blessed? Amen. Church Gist. What God said He will do, He has done. One more time, give Him a big hand of Praise.
Now, just these few lines of admonition. How to make the most of these 40 days post resurrection appearance of Jesus.
- Please, look out for Him. He can appear at any time and anywhere. What do I do? Walk in the Spirit. Whatever time he shows up, you are there. Can I hear your Amen. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. He can show up at any time. Church Gist. I was on His mission when He showed up and gave me this global mandate. He can show up at any time.
I was returning from His mission when He gave me the mandate to Africa. He can show up at any time. I was in the bathroom when He delivered the vision of Lagos. He can show up at any time. Work in the Spirit.
- Watch in the Spirit.
Be sensitive. You ask Him questions, you might not get your answers right on the spot but as you watch in the Spirit, He connects with you with an answer. Maybe first day, second day, third day or fourth day. The answer is coming. Can I hear your Amen. - Don’t embark on mere fasting, let your fasting be with a quest for answers to probing questions. Why is this church not growing? He said, “Come let me show you.” And he came down and led me out and gave me 4 keys to unending church growth. March ’84. The effect is all over the world today. Church Gist. Only those who ask questions are entitled to answers. Engage in fasting with a quest for an outbreak of light in an area of concern in your life.
- Engage in the study of the Word and anointed books that address your areas of interest.
We have been shouting Matthew 33. It was from the book ‘The Man God Uses’ that the fire fell. It was reading that book that the fire fell. Today, I hear from heaven like a man hears from his friend. It was from the book the purpose of Pentecost that I read and in one sitting, that God revealed the Holy Ghost to me and from that time on, I have been hearing “go forward, make a left, stand there.” Church Gist. In these last days, he has spoken to us by His Son, the Word. So get committed to the Word.
I was in the Word when he showed up. My prosperity plan is not a promise. My Bible with me, God’s law is prosperity by Kenneth Copeland. He showed up! He endures His Word. Hebrews 1:3. We connect with an encounter with Him through the Word.
Can you imagine the declaration of Matthew 17:33 in my life today. It came from books. Church Gist. They are not seeking, so when will it. The gifts are real, but we must ourselves service them. If we don’t service them, they won’t deliver. They will stop functioning, they will start malfunctioning. Please if you want an encounter, be spiritually minded. Walk in the Spirit, watch in the Spirit.
Engage in prayer and fasting in topical issues of interest asking the God of all answers to show up. Can I hear your Amen. Engage in the study of the Word. In your quest to hear from him, he shows up!
I was in the Word when he said, you have 2 eyes, can you make one to look up and the other down? That is how he appears, it is not that he comes with a wing and flapping. No. Church Gist. He appears by personalizing his Word to you. Engage in meditation on areas of interest to you, He will show up.
And then, He brought me Luke 10. I wasn’t studying it. Some like to be leaders. God doesn’t pay leaders. You can be a leader and be a beggar. God pays only labourers. Church Gist. So I became a Jackie man for Jesus and He kept paying me Jackie pay.
Please wake up! These 40 days will be the most awesome season of your life. Acts 1:3. So, we will be unveiling the mysteries to the Kingdom that will position you and I for higher realms of spiritual authority. Can I hear your loudest Amen. Higher realms of Spiritual Authority. That will be your portion. You will never miss your step for anything. These next 40 days, God will show up in your life.
One of my sons had a very humbling testimony. He was in this meeting. I was outside the country and He said, Lord, I want to hear you the way my father hears you and the Lord says get back home and start farming. What a blessing today. That farm has impact now in 45 nations. Church Gist. Just to hear from God. You cannot be running around for life just to hear from God. Church Gist. You won’t miss God anymore. You will not miss God.
Can I tell you this, whatever decorates this commission will decorate you. Will decorate your family. Will decorate your business. Will decorate your career. Because, you are a member of this Spiritual family. Everything here as heaven’s inheritance is yours. It is your portion. You receive it.
Stand to your feet everybody. You have honored Jesus by showing up today. You will never lack honour in your life. You have given Him his place above all else. You will never miss your place and may the impact if this service be on your life for generations. And so shall it be.
So, next Sunday is our global number harvest Sunday. Every church shall be filled to overflowing and flowing over the gate. Multiple services shall be jammed. There shall be people outside in every service. All that commit to be part of it will never run out of honour from God. Church Gist. I cried yesterday that all of those 7 fundamental gifts make demands on us to keep delivering and when you commit to the demands, you never run out of power again. Your riches will not become history.
The wisdom of God will be fresh in your life. Your strength will not be abated. You will never run out of honour with God. You know no shame and reproach again. Church Gist. Can I say this, I love you all.
This is my prayer, that every iota of grace I touch, I will be alive to see you flow in it and many of you will step into double of it. Everyone that is greedy for Grace will receive 3 fold of it. I will be alive and watching you soaring, watching you solve global problems. Watching you become major employers of labour. Watching you live in health and soundness. It shall be said of this church, they don’t die young there. They don’t die weak there. They don’t die with sickness there. It shall be said of your family, they don’t die young in that family. They don’t become a burden in old age. As their days are, so shall their strength be. They don’t divorce in that family, they are not single parents in that family, premature death is not in that family. So shall it be.
For all officials that laboured all through this event, your labour is converted to favour. For our various choir around the world, including faith tabernacle, your about is turned to favour. For all service groups that have laboured selflessly all through this season, some had to cut off their journey to be there, in the Name of Jesus, your labour is converted to favour.
Next Sunday, come under the showers. Church Gist. The showers of blessings. It will be speaking in your life forever in the Name of Jesus. Watch how powerful prophetic blessings can be. Fresh oil, Lord. Fresh oil. Whatever is proclaimed on you this coming Sunday, it shall remain in your life. And I pray that you will not miss where your harvest is waiting. The blessing will come to you through your obedience and the name of the Lord will be glorified. Lift up those 2 hands everyone and give God thanks.
