Walking in Dominion Over Sickness And Diseases is our teaching series for the month. Before we go into the Word, let me remind all our youths. Remember now the Lord thy God in the days of your youth (Ecclesiastes 12:1), so you don’t open the doors to evil in your later years. Remember now! Don’t leave your life to chance, be committed to building towards the future you desire. Church Gist. If you leave your life to chance, you don’t have a chance. ‘I know some day, I will become a pilot’ that’s a good wish but you must know you need to go to a flying school. If you don’t know that, you will be wishing and wishing until you are washed out. Every great future is consciously cultivated, nothing great emerges by chance.
Every genuine encounter with the Word opens a new chapter to the believer. AYAC 2025 promises to be a mountain of encounters with the Word of God. Ensure you avail yourself that opportunity, it will mean a lot in defining your tomorrow. You can’t harass an elder that he does not know how to be a youth, he must have been a youth before he became an elder. I was once in your class but I never wasted my season and it is showing today. Church Gist. I attended my first Christian conference in 1970 and I got a baptism of that mystery ‘God Is Not Slow’. That gave me the patience required for faith to deliver maximally. Faith requires patience for maximum delivery. It is being in a hurry that brings men into horror. Here we are today by grace. It was an encounter from a conference. Avail yourself that opportunity, something will strike a cord in you that will become a life wire. I am speaking of 1970, this is 2025. 55 years ago and that baptism is still working in my life. Please don’t join people that are going nowhere.
Every encounter with the Word opens a new chapter to the believer. I saw at 16 that I had been redeemed as a priest and a king. A royal mentality engulfed me and I am not a peasant today. What you see today determines what awaits you tomorrow. Avail yourself the opportunity to be at AYAC 2025. Church Gist. I am speaking to Winners Worldwide in our various nations where we are. Your generation hates instructions but every one that must fly must learn how to embrace instructions. Church Gist. Those that walk, walk with many. Those that run, run with a few but those that fly, they fly alone. We walk with common sense, we run by principles but we fly by instructions. We fly by instructions. Church Gist. Embrace the instructions of scriptures, it will help to establish your future in grand style. All of you will emerge with greater grace than any of us ahead of you carried by doing what we had to do to see the grace of God upon our lives. I believe a word is enough for the wise.
I want to admonish all parents and guardians to encourage those young fellows to be there. I have never seen a careless child become a responsible man. As the morning shows the day, so the child shows the man. Please endeavour to take advantage of it. AYAC 2025 will be a mountain of transformation. A mountain of new chapters. A mountain of glory in the name of Jesus. Your life is moving to next levels, your level of command will be altered. Your level of command will change levels in Jesus name.
WALKING IN DOMINION OVER SICKNESS AND DISEASE. Isaiah 33:24. That means sickness shall be subdued. Before Jesus returns, sickness will be permanently under the feet of the redeemed and that includes you. The word sickness will become past tense in your family. Jeremiah 30:17. For He has vowed that He will restore health onto you and heal all your wounds. Church Gist. All, not some of them. If you came with any wounds, you are returning healed. You came here oppressed by the devil, you are returning free. Acts 10:38. The anointing has capacity to heal all and that includes you and I. Today, you are returning with your wholesome healing in the name of Jesus.
By way of introduction, Habakkuk 3:4. God’s power is always hidden, the Holy Ghost helps to unveil where it is so you can take advantage of it. Church Gist. But we encounter the light that stirs faith through two main channels. First, through the Word. Psalm 119:130. John 1:5. The light from Scriptures shatters all the powers of darkness without a noise because the dominion of light over darkness is instant and unquestionable. So, we encounter light through the revelation of the Word and that light is our access to the manifestation of His power. Because God’s Word is the carrier of God’s power. Romans 10:17. Church Gist. So, faith is stirred through the light we encounter from Scriptures. I’ve shared series of testimonies with you on how the light from Scripture gave me authority over the issues of life.
Secondly, we encounter light through testimonies. Isaiah 8:20. The Word and testimonies are platforms of spiritual illumination that stirs faith in us. Church Gist. I saw the testimony of Kenneth Copeland and my faith got stirred on the reality of Kingdom prosperity. I saw the faith of Smith Wigglesworth and how he disdained the devil and made away with it, my faith got stirred up and I wonder if there’s any devil that could stand when I’m coming. Church Gist. Testimonies illuminate believers, it causes their faith to rise.
Growing up, people and believers were so afraid of the devil. When it was time to cast out devils, you find them roll their sleeves and fold their trousers. Church Gist. But I saw that and I knew that there’s nothing in the devil. I heard Jesus say, ‘it is finished’. I heard Him say all powers in Heaven and on earth have been given unto me. Then the far above mentality engulfed me. So, you hear me say, “one billion witches can’t stand on my way” and I know what I’m saying and they know. Church Gist. Mind testimonies, they’re not to entertain you but to impart your lives by stirring your faith that God is still on duty doing what He does. Can I hear your Amen?
You don’t build faith by crying, you build faith by seeking. What stirs faith? The Word and testimonies.
Mysteries that we see. Ephesians 3:9. We must be able to see and that means, mysteries always translate to testimonies that can be seen. Church Gist. Ephesians 3:8-11. What testimonies do is to make us see that these mysteries are real.
Now, think on the following testimonies of the mystery of the anointing oil. Someone here by name, Luke, not St. Luke, Luke is his name, healed of 45 years of incurable wound which he sustained when he was in primary school while playing football. 45 years, refused to heal. Church Gist. Came for an anointing service and it got dried up. 45 years. One of us here by name, Uzoamaka A., God delivered her from internal heat. When there’s heat in your room, you turn on the fan or air conditioner or take a fan, but what do you use to fan inside? To make all men see that this mystery destroys yokes.
Someone was delivered from 18 years of bed wetting. It ceased, the fountain stopped.
-In the same vein, whatever makes for shame in any one’s life stops here today.
Interestingly her name is Genesis Christiana. You heard the testimony of Esther who was carried here from the hospital because she could not walk. Church Gist. You know? Under the siege of tuberculosis. In that Anointing Service, Jesus touched her, she stood up and walked her way back. Come on, give the Lord praise! That is, stroke bowed!
-You came here paralyzed or suffering a stroke, partial or total. You’re walking free today!
Someone here disconnected from Jesus – 19 years in the wilderness. Church Gist. He came back and dedicated his life to Christ and was delivered from two plagues that followed him from his journey: Broken lips and impotency. Jesus set him free in an anointing service.
-So for anyone who cares to rededicate his life to Christ today, whatever siege the enemy has held you under shall be broken.
His name is Baba Aguta. Someone got married and the mother told the man that: “Look! Don’t take your wife away! That’s the mother of the wife because she’s my meat. The husband and wife: “Ah! No!” So they went! Church Gist. Affliction upon affliction and they came up to one anointing service like this, Jesus destroyed the yoke! A razor blade was pulled out of this Man’s belly. Razor blade! And the siege of sickness and diseases ceased.
-Whatever the enemy has planted in anyone’s life, today by this anointing, you’re walking free. Church Gist. Anyone trying to make a minced meat of you, will go for you.
A child was struck with rashes, all medical attention could not help. Came to anointing service, the rashes dried up. Now, the devil was still pursuing after this child, she fell down and hit her tummy and before you know it, it has gone! Church Gist. The mother carried the Anointing Oil and anointed her tummy. After 3 hours, she bounced back to life.
-So everything dying or dead in you by the things you’re seeing now, will bounce back to life.
The testifier is Ezekiel Janet. We saw one humbling testimony in the Platform here, rescued from death right from the mortuary. Had a ghastly accident and passed, no more life and took him to the mortuary. Church Gist. The wife went to the mortuary and sat with the body and began to anoint the feet of the husband saying: “Darling, you can’t go!” You can imagine a dead man remains your darling! That’s love! He jerked back to life and walked out of the mortuary and went home the same night. Amen! And they were here on Sunday morning to share the testimony. The power of God! So let your faith come alive!
-Today, whatever is working against your total health must be brought to destruction! Shall be rooted out! Thank You Jesus!
First, please recognize that one cannot dominate what he cannot despise. You don’t have a special problem, you have a special God. We shall remain subject to the issues we exaggerate. Stop exaggerating your problem. “I have never slept for the past 10 years,” it’s not true. Somebody who has never slept will not be standing. Stop exaggerating your problem! They did and they could not enter the Promised Land. Church Gist. The Land eats up the people. How did you return then? You said you went there and the Land eats up people? It didn’t eat you, how did you return? Exaggeration!!! Is an enemy of faith! Exaggeration paralyzes faith. Numbers 13:31-33. They exaggerated their problem. Caleb despised the problem: “We are well able, let’s go and take it.” Numbers 13:30. You cannot dominate whatever you can’t despise. Jesus will say: “The Child is not dead, he’s sleeping.” You despise the problem to dominate it.
-In the name of Jesus, that issue is no issue with God. For with God what? All things are possible.
Jeremiah 32:27. You saw that my daughter came up here on the Platform and saying that every test proved there was nothing. Church Gist. But then the power of God came in and loosed the bowels. She could go to toilet by herself. Everything ended. Mark 10:27.
-You’re walking free today! Somebody, your family has died of that plague before, not you! Church Gist. And it’s stopping with you now! It won’t happen to anybody else in your family!
They said “we were like grasshoppers in our sight and so were we in their sight.” What you are is what you will be to them. Thank you Jesus. But faith is key to possessing our possessions. So, Joshua and Caleb possessed the land. Church Gist. All the other ones died of plague. Unbelief is evil, please know that unbelief is evil, we must beware of the evil heart of unbelief. Hebrews 3:12. Unbelief is evil, it robs believers of their access to their inheritance. Beware of it! Just like faith is of the heart, unbelief is of the heart. With the heart man believes and so with the heart man disbelieves. Nobody can see it on your face, but you know whether you believe or not, you should know. Church Gist. He said “know you not that you are in the faith except ye be reprobates?” Everybody knows where he is standing. If you have come here to try, you won’t get anything, but if you came here trusting, Jesus will visit you.
– Jesus will visit you today!
“For blessed is she that believeth, there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45. Please note that one’s unbelief cannot make another one’s faith of no effect. Somebody does not believe it doesn’t make…There is no group faith. “The Just shall live by His faith.” Church Gist. There is no group faith. “I don’t believe in going to Youth Alive Conference.” “God bless you, I’m going.” “Are you going? What are you going to get there?” “Thank you, I know what I’m looking for. I know what I’m looking for.” “I don’t believe in this thing called anointing oil.” “Una weldone. Thank you, I believe.” Amen. This is because the Just shall live by His faith and not by the faith of another. Be very personal today, be very personal. Church Gist. Don’t let any devil infiltrate your heart with unbelief. God’s Word is eternally in place. You can’t do nothing against the truth but for the truth. “It is to everyone according to his faith.” Matthew 9:29. The quality of life that a believer lives is a function of his faith. The quality of your life and my life is a function of our faith. Galatians 3:11. Hebrews 10:38. Keep your faith alive!
– Today is your day of rescue. Today is your day of rescue!
Now look at this, Paul believed all things that were written. Acts 24:14. And Paul could now testify “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. You believe all things, you’re empowered to do all things. Faith empowers us to become what is written. Church Gist. As many as believed him, to them gave He power to become…” Faith empowers us to become what is written. Faith translates what is written to what is happening in our lives. He believed all things and could now say “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Over to you.
– It’s your turn, it’s your turn, it’s your turn!
Back then, in the early days of this Commission, Holy Communion was tagged evil. In fact, it was a laughing stock. “You know those people, they drink blood. Can’t you hear the Man say this is the blood of Jesus? It’s human blood. They drink blood so that people will not leave the Church.” Blindness, Blindness. That happened ’84 to ’86 in Kaduna. Church Gist. Prosperity message was seen as carnality. In fact, that began since the Ministry began. It was hated, “Prosperity, you can’t go to Heaven with it.” Anointing oil was said to be of the devil. A number of you that are in the Church knew, ’92 to ’99, it was war, war, but they lost the battle, the truth prevailed. Everybody carries a bottle of oil all around
In those days, even a tract was written in Kaduna against the Prosperity Message, all kinds of things. A minister came to me and said, “God said He was no longer with me because of the things I was teaching” I said thank you. Church Gist. He said, “Did you hear what I said?” I said thank you. That’s the level of bitterness and hatred, because the devil knows that if they get this truth, they’ll be free.
Now, let’s come back to how the Anointing Oil empowers us for dominion over sickness and disease. Please note and it’s very important at this point, that back then in Exodus 30:25-30, we saw God unveil the mystery of the Holy Anointing Oil and we saw the purpose in verse 30. Church Gist. It empowers believers to secure their place in redemption. Exodus 30:31. That makes it a generational mystery. It’s a transgenerational mystery. It keeps going and going till the end of time and so, we saw that happen.
If you go down there to 1 Samuel 10, Samuel anointed Saul to be Captain over God’s inheritance. 1 Samuel 16:13, he anointed David to be King of Israel. We have been redeemed as priests and kings and no king reigns without the anointing. He anointed Jehu to destroy the house of wickedness. 2 Chronicles 22:7. Church Gist. And then when you move on there to the ministry of Jesus, He gave them the bottle of oil and they went forth healing everywhere. Mark 6:7. He gave them power and what we saw in their hand was the oil (Mark 6:12) and He called it power. Jesus, the Truth called it power.
So the bottle of oil when pronounced the holy anointing oil becomes power. Mark 6:12-13. And then the Apostles took it over. James 5:14-15…they have chased sickness away from their midst. It was no longer a thing to talk about. Church Gist. “Is anybody sick among you? Don’t come to the Apostles; just go to the elders of the Church and they will pray over you.” So you saw it back there in Exodus, we saw it in 1 Samuel, we saw it in 2 Chronicles and there again in the ministry of Jesus and then with the apostles and it’s still on today. How many have seen God’s power through the holy anointing oil? How many have seen it?
– He will yet show you greater things today!
This is very important so that you don’t get confused as to these things. It is ordained for generations. Exodus 30:31. We are a generation of Abraham. Church Gist. Galatians 3:29. So throughout our generations, this mystery will keep speaking and it’s speaking in your life today!
But What Is In The Anointing Oil That Heals?
1. The healing power of God. Healing virtue flows through the mystery of the anointing oil. Healing virtue flows. Church Gist. James 5:14-15. So there is the virtue that flows through the mystery of the oil that heals.
– It will flow in your life today!
2. The Spirit of the Lord that destroys yokes. Isaiah 10:27. It destroys yokes. God anointed Jehu to cut down the house of Ahab; to destroy the house of wickedness. Church Gist. The anointing destroys yokes.
– Every gang up of wickedness against your life, against your health, against the health of your children; every gang up of hell shall be shattered this morning!
3. The Spirit of the Lord that sets free the captives. 1 Samuel 16:13, Isaiah 61:1…that’s His ministry. The Spirit of the Lord, the same Spirit not different one – the same Spirit. Church Gist. It binds the brokenhearted, sets the captives free (and) opens the prison doors – the same Spirit.
– Therefore, expect an end to that captivity in your life!
4. The Spirit of the Lord that exempts us from all the evils of the day. Psalm 105:13-15. It exempts us from the evils of the day like we saw during covid-19. We were wholesomely, supernaturally exempted from that assault. It exempts people from the evils of the day. Church Gist. That it’s happening out there does not mean it should happen to you because your case is different. You are a peculiar person, you are a royal priesthood. Thank you Jesus!
We are sealed by the anointing. Ephesians 1:13. Sealed with the Holy Ghost of promise, set apart as a touch-not entity. Maybe you never heard this from me, the first ebola case that happened was brought down to Canaanland and I was there to minister to him. Church Gist. Ebola was as severe if not more severe than covid-19. Where am I today? Where is ebola? You are exempted. I am doing what my Father sent me to do so I can’t be afflicted. Nobody knew it was ebola.
– Your case is different!
Don’t arrogate your feverish condition to the cold weather, this is not winter. “You see this my hand, since the cold began, it has been doing like this.” So what will it do in winter? It will do like this. Church Gist. You just read meaning and give the d3vil room to sit on your life. Somebody is free. If you are the one, let me hear your loudest Amen.
By this anointing today, you will be exempted from all evils. Your family will be exempted from all evil in the Name of Jesus. Thank you Lord.
Now watch, what is in the anointing oil that heals? The mystery of the fan and the fire that destroyed every chaff of sickness and diseases in our body. Matthew 3:11-12. Church Gist. That is why we take the shot of the anointing oil, to send in that liquid fire, to refine the organs of our body and burn off every stranger in our system. Thank you Jesus. We are the Temple of the Holy Ghost and He will thoroughly pudge His floor.
So if they ask you, but why do you take a shot of the anointing oil? The Holy Spirit among others is on a mission to burn up every chaff in my body with his unquenchable fire. I believe that because it is the same Holy Ghost, one God, one Faith, one Spirit. Church Gist. I believe that there is a mission to my body. Praise God.
As we all know, we don’t sweep a building from outside. We sweep a building from inside. Wash the inside of the cup and the outside will be clean also. Matthew 23:25-26. Church Gist. So we send Him to clean up the inside, so our outside can be clean. Can I hear your Amen.
I saw live in Jos as someone took a shot of the oil 1996 and went back home and experienced a long winding snake that lifted up the head like this. She ran out and called the husband to please come. The stranger was flushed out. Church Gist. Someone here vomited live fish. He was drying up, the fish was drinking the water. The liquid fire went in. The fish couldn’t survive.
– Whatever is behind the Seige on your head must clear the way today.
We were in the U.S and one of us took the shot of our oil in that Convention and then, there was a scissors forgotten in her tummy after a CS, she has been under excruciating trouble all her body. They did scan, did everything, they couldn’t find it. She took the oil and it showed up. Removed and that was the end of it.
– Whatever is hidden from the eyes of experts that is tormenting your life, will be exposed and destroyed.
Back in ’96, one of the women here was coughing as if coughing her last breath, she had the bottle of anointing oil by her side, she said, let me see the power that they said is in this oil. She took the oil and coughed out a lumpy clot of blood. By the time it was examined, it was found to be cotton wool forgotten in her belly in Europe where she had a procedure. Set free forever, the siege was over.
So watch out! It is your turn. Every testimony is a pointer to what is available to you. The righteousness of their testimony is everlasting. Give me understanding and I shall live. Psalm 119:144. Please understand this, in the precious Name of Jesus, the siege over your head is over and over forever. So shall it be.
