During the First Service on Sunday, Apostle Iren told the congregation of the season of spiritual transition that is currently on in the Church of Christ.
In his words, he said, “the Joshua generation that God has been prepping us for is effective. It’s something to be excited about but it is also something to be sensitive about.” He stated that for Joshua to be in full effect, Moses has to go. He also mentioned that some of the fathers of faith have stated departing.
He emphasized that spiritual transition is often ignored and taken for granted. He beckoned on those who have God’s call on their life to be sensitive this season so as to take hold of the mantles of these fathers. According to him, not everyone has the spiritual intelligence to know the day any father of faith would be called home.
He also encouraged members to be part of what the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) wants to do. PFN is organizing a conference to honour the fathers of faith in the Land. He also stressed that because of the urgency of the initiative of the PFN, one of the fathers of faith (Dr. Uma Ukpai) has gone to be with the Lord.
He also beckoned on members to be physically present for the conference and if they can, they should take a gift along to honour these fathers.
