The outgoing TAC National Vice President and the LAWNA Territorial Chairman has addressed disagreements to the ongoing Hospital Project close to the TAC National Temple at Olorunda-Ketu. The project which foundation was laid on 15th March 2025 is a massive hospital project and first of its kind in TAC Nigeria.
Pastor S. G. O Uyeh took time out to address concerns and dissents before calling on the project Chairman to speak on the project.
The TAC Tenet 12 of says;
Divine Healing through obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ and Faith in His Name
and merit of His Blood for all sickness, disease and infirmities.
Recall that this Tenet was a major issue before the arrival of 3 missionaries of The Apostolic Church Bradford UK in 1931. It was also one of the 2 major issues at the root of the schism that led to the separation between the Christ Apostolic Church (Ayo Babalola group) and The Apostolic Church (Bradford/S.G Adegboyega group) in 1939.
Interestingly the current President of CAC was at the opening day of LAWNA Convention this year.

We are having the project of the Glorious Vision International Hospital in this compound. I want to explain to you categorically that we have not removed Tenet 12 in the Apostolic Church. We still stand by that. You never understand it, come nearer, you will understand it from me. Tell your people that this erroneous belief and proclamation by some of you, especially some elders. It is very bad, you are misleading your people. We believe in divine healing, God can heal and manifest miracles, wonders in the midst of the people. God can do it and is doing it and must do it.
Yesterday, many of you got healing through the prayer of the National Evangelist. All the testimonies we have been hearing, there are more testimonies now, which I may give or not. What of the giving of birth, having twin or three children. But we still have the fibroid and anything that people complain of. Still, God is healing their womb to get a child. Church Gist. Even the doctors, there are doctors among you now, you are training your children to be doctors. Why? They themselves said, we care, but God heals. They believe that.
I asked one elder, “the medical glass you are having to read.” He said, “without it, I cannot read well Baba.” Where do you get it? He could not answer again. Because, some of you elders and pastors are discouraging this project. Church Gist. Baba Odu was retired, I met him in U.S. and he was confronting me that this is what people confront him there, that we have removed Tenet 12. Then, I said, “what do you tell them? How do they come overseas? Do they pass some medical testing before they go?” Please, remove your ignorance, we still stand on divine healing, so correct your impression. Divine means ‘lati orun.’ Divine healing should have been ‘iwosan lati orun wa.’ Which could be, without using medicine.
I have said it before that, those who are not convinced, let them come in, come meet me here in headquarters and we discuss together. Church Gist. Bring their Bible, bring anything, bring their theory and we will discuss it and sort it out. I just want to correct this impression, I am not annoyed with you, sorry o. I am not annoyed, but I want to give a clearance that this here, we never removed divine healing, number 12 from it. In the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the gift of healing is there. It is not something very new.
Nevertheless, this is my brother, my good friend. He is the Chairman of the Project Committee.

THIS HOSPITAL PROJECT SHALL BE DEDICATED BEFORE THE END OF 2025 SAYS PROJECT COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN
On Saturday, 15th of March this year, the foundation of Glorious Vision International Hospital was laid in this compound and I would like you to visit the site before you go back from this Convention, so you will be able to see the progress so far. Church Gist. If you are coming in from the Express Gate, it is on your left, immediately you enter the compound, if you are going out through the Express Gate, it is to your right.
I want to use this medium to appreciate every one of you across the territory. On June 8th, the arrangement of the committee as approved by our father was that every member of this Church must give a minimum of 1,000 Naira. Church Gist. It is a minimum, it is not a levy. You can give as much as millions of Naira. So we want to thank you for the one you did on June 8. The Good God will bless every one of you.
We want to appeal to you again and we want to do it in another 2 phases. We want to repeat the same thing. We want to appeal to you to pay for your children that cannot afford that money, to give for your children who are not living with you and remember, I said, it is a minimum of 1,000 and our target was that we must receive at least 1 Million Naira from every area and we want to believe God for the one coming up September 14.
How much is 1,000, 5,000, 10,000. We are appealing to you, because we believe that project shall be dedicated before the end of the year by the Grace of God. After September 14, we are doing another one November 9, making it 3 phases. Church Gist. With your cooperation, with your contribution, we are going to finish that project and we want to appeal to as many as God has blessed among us, who can give us over 1 million.

It is a means of job opportunity for our graduates, government alone cannot do it, you can see a lot of graduates that are jobless all over the places, if we finish it on time, there shall be consideration, for our children who are medical graduates in this Apostolic Church which will lessen the burden of levies here and there.
So, people of God, we beseech you as you go back home, help us prepare very well for that of September 14. Your labour of love will be greatly rewarded, don’t forget it is a minimum of 1,000 Naira, it is not a levy.
Let me give you an example, in the Assembly where I am Pastoring, a father, the mother, 4 children, gave us 50,000 Naira. There are people that gave 100,000 Naira for their family, that is what we want, please, do that and the Lord will bless you. Thank you so much, you are greatly blessed.
