During the Third Service of the Special Easter Sunday Celebration, Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr shared a testimony about Winners Chapel London’s engagement with the Principle of Tithing, which led to God’s favour in acquiring and building a property. He admonished the congregation to engage the principles of the Covenant in the Kingdom.
He said: “When I was privileged to be in our Church in London, I got there and I told them I said: ‘This Church must engage this Covenant of Tithing’. So we sent forth and began to engage in the Mystery of Tithing. Church Gist. When it was time for us to buy a property, it looked as if there would be no way that the Property would be bought. But like I’ve shared here before, I discovered that it’s not money you use, it’s favour you use and favour brings money and brings it cheap and so God did it. Now when we were to begin constructing, I said to God; I said: ‘Lord, we are not going to call for any seed for this Project, prove to the people that you can do it without them’ because I know the Terrain, the Terrain is a place where people carry themselves with arrogance. So, let them know you don’t need them to do it. That Project, we entered into that Facility within 10 weeks without calling for one seed during the construction. Why? Heavens open by the Principle of Tithing. You know what that means? That means nobody should sit down somewhere and now say: “I am calling money to come, if you have not made your seed go, money will not come. So many people are making confessions but this Kingdom is a kingdom of profession, profession means practice. That means practice. It’s a Kingdom where you and I engage in the profession.
-I see grace coming upon us for this.”
