God said to Eli, “Although I said that you and your father’s house will minister before me forever but far be it from me. He that honours me, I will honour.” You have come this morning to honour Jesus, “He that honours me, I will honour “ It is your turn to be honoured. God is counting. Paul said “I thank Jesus Christ my Lord who has counted me faithful.” God is ever counting. Don’t joke with God. Church Gist. God is not a joker. He means what He says, He says only what He means. Don’t ever joke with God. Don’t play games around God. Don’t think your opinion counts. “I said, now I say no more” “I said you will stand before me throughout your generations but far be it from me.” God is not a joker, He means what He says and says what He means. May you remain on the honour path all your life. May honouring God become your new lifestyle. God is not a man. Receive grace to remain on the path of honour in your walk with God.
Lord thank you for this moment. We await your empowerment not only for this month but for our lifetime. Let it be our experience in Jesus’ name.
This morning I like to go on two different things for the time we have. First we will be looking at WE SERVE A QUESTION ANSWERING GOD. He answers prayers, he also answers questions. Most of the things we pray about, we ought to ask questions about. We are not questioning God, we are asking questions. What is wrong with me? Why is this thing not working for me according to what it is written? We can’t question God but we can question ourselves. Church Gist. We serve a question answering God. Jeremiah 33:3. “Come and ask me and I will show you great and mighty things which are responsible for your negative experiences. Come and ask. I will show you the answer.” Not “I will grant your request” “I will show you what is wrong.” Matthew 7:7-8. You seek for answers by asking questions.
Lord, why is this Church not growing? “My son, come and I will show you.” So He showed me some great and mighty things that I didn’t know. Lord show me the secret of Kingdom prosperity. Come on my son, this is what it is. It is time to engage the question answering God on the bugging issues of our lives. For instance, nothing can be more profitable than serving God faithfully but why is it not so in my life? It could be one tiny thing. Songs of Solomon 2:15. Church Gist. I once told you a story of how contact set grounded a Mercedes car. Not engine, not gear, contact set. It just opened. Church Gist. We needed a screwdriver, we didn’t have one. We were on the road helpless because of contact set. Many are grounded because of certain small things that they never cared to ask questions about. God is not looking for who to use, He is looking for who to bless. He is not looking for who to humiliate, He is looking for who to honour.
It is time to engage the question answering God for forward movement. Why is my testimony of change of story, not forthcoming though I am serving and you know Lord, I am. What shall I do to partake of my inheritance in stewardship? That young man came to Jesus and asked “What shall I do to inherit eternal life?” Mark 10:17:21. What shall I do? We serve a question answering God. Church Gist. He hasn’t changed, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Lord, what shall I do that I may inherit my rewards in stewardship? It is a question to ask. Peter asked, “What shall we have in return for serving you?” Mark 10:28. He didn’t say “Get out, you carnal people.” Mark 10:29-30. He guaranteed them of returns for their labour. So it is not being carnal, it is engaging the covenant of God in our thinking. He has not asked the seed of Jacob to see Him in vain. Exodus 23:25-26. “Thou shall serve and I shall bless”.
He is a covenant keeping God. Psalm 89:34. The question is why is it not showing up in my life as it is in the life of others and you are not a partial God, where am I missing it? Mark 3:14-15. Jesus ordained twelve that they should be with Him and He might send them forth to preach. “We have been following you like jackals, what shall we have? Are we serving you for nought?”. Church Gist. He said no and He repeated that 3 times. Matthew 19:27-29, Luke 10:28-30. I guarantee you returns. Out of this world order of returns that will make kings fear. You are entering there. No one will miss his fortune package this year.
Serving God entitles us to favour. “Lack ye anything?” Nothing. Those that seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. “You favour my cause, I will pour fearful favour on your life”. Psalm 102:13-15. Fearful favour is that we call fortune and that’s your portion. Church Gist. You won’t miss it. “You serve me, I vow to protect you”. Luke 10:19. “I’ll be your defense. You’re on my mission, I vow to be on your defense”. Thank you Jesus.
Now, He called his 12 and gave them power over all devils and to cure diseases. Church Gist. Dominion over all devils is the right of everyone serving God. That means you’ll be far from oppression. Isaiah 54:14.
- From this day on, you won’t know the meaning of oppression of the devil again in your life.
We serve a covenant keeping God, Psalm 89:34, but to secure our stewardship as a reminder, our Kingdom advancement stewardship, we must continue to serve God willingly. Church Gist. One thing He told me very early Sir, is that, “my son, I’ve not called you because you’re smarter than anybody else. I’ve only given you a privilege, should you abuse it, there are better hundreds at the door”. You say, when? 1981, as soon as the call landed. Church Gist. “So, you won’t think it’s your experience or devotion, I only gave you a privilege. Should you abuse it, there are better than you”. Sir, he told me that after an 18-hour long vision. “No. You’re not indispensable”. Church Gist. I may be able to say to everyone serving here, God never begs a man to serve. Don’t do as if you’re forced, no. What I don’t do willingly has no reward. If I do this thing willingly, I have a reward. You’re walking down to WSF murmuring, “what is all these? I should have been there by now. My friend is doing anniversary of the father’s death”. Ta lo pe o si (who called you there?) Nobody forced you Sir. Church Gist. Nobody forced you, don’t injure yourself by just serving for fun, serving for vanity, serving for no returns. What has been written has been written, you’re angry, it’s on your own. Serve Him cheerfully or you have no return. Deuteronomy 28:47. Church Gist. All these carrying long face around won’t help you. “You know, I don’t just have the gift of smiling”. You don’t? They gave you a gift, all your teeth comes out. If they land in your hand today one million dollars, you don’t have the gift of laughing, but if they give you one million dollars right now, the gift will come alive. If you don’t do it the way we do it, you won’t see what we see. God is no respecter of persons. Church Gist. Moving as if God is the one carrying a cudgel and chasing after you. That’s not serving God.
- My prayer is that, everyone under my privileged watch in this commission will not only taste the order of grace I taste but will taste beyond it by caring to do it according to the Word.
Deuteronomy 28:47-48. He gave me that Word, 1977. Serving God is unprofitable except you’re doing joyfully and gladly. You serve as a burden, it becomes a burden. Church Gist. Your return is multiplied burden. Jeremiah 23:36. Serving God must not be a burden, it must be with delight. Can I hear your Amen?
Serve Him diligently. Do it business-likely. Pray over the meeting as a Cell Minister. “Lord Jesus, today, let every member of this cell have an encounter with you. Let every prayer prayed one for another receive instant answer. Lord, let this subject of discussion today bring life to every member and I thank you for it. Lord, let your good hand be upon every member of this cell. Lord, stir them up to bring somebody else today”. Church Gist. Business-likely. Proverbs 22:29. Romans 12:11. So, serve the Lord business-likely. Give it the business order of diligence and get too much out of it. He’s a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, not casually, not nominally. Hebrews 11:6. Proverbs 22:29.
Serve Him dedicatedly. An unsown seed will never grow to bear fruits. But when it is sown, it’s so tiny but it grows up. Church Gist. Stay dedicated, you’re undergoing a gestation period, you’re growing up, people think you’re lost, you’re in the earth but you’re growing up. The seed is broken, micropyles come out, “is this what you planted?” Watch it, the full corn will soon emerge. Sow yourself as a seed to God, your destiny will fruitfully blossom, it’s a matter of time. It may be slow but it’s sure. Church Gist. Is it not better to be slow and sure than to be fast and fall? Be dedicated. Mark 4:30-32. When it is sown, it grows up. Until it is sown, it doesn’t grow up. Dedication is a must to a flourishing spiritual life. Dedication to God is a must.
- somebody’s story is changing.
Now, serve Him sacrificially. Luke 12:49-50. Stars are products of sacrifice. I’ve said before, there is no star without a scar and the scar of every star is sacrifice. Global impact! Global relevance is impossible without rearing an altar of sacrifice making yourself and myself a living sacrifice unto God. A living sacrifice! You will never come across a star in the Kingdom who is not serving God as a living sacrifice. Church Gist. God first, God second, God third. Me; last, last, last. And then He begins to bless them. Psalm 126:1. Sacrifice will always fill your mouth with laughter at the end. Sacrifice will always fill our mouths with laughter at the end. Psalm 126:6. 🎶 I won’t let go!! Jesus took me by the hand and I won’t let go 🎶 He turns captivities! Making God your all in all turn captivities. We were at the whole celebration of that in one of those Shilohs: “God is all you need to have all your needs met!!!” Thank You Jesus!
Why am I not getting returns? Check! Any of these may apply. You serve Him tirelessly, you don’t determine when you are rewarded. It’s the rewarder that determines it. Serve Him tirelessly! Let Him meet you on duty when He shows up as your rewarder. Matthew 24:45-47. Tirelessly! Don’t be weary in well doing, you can’t determine your due day. He determines it. Galatians 6:9. Some (people) faint a day to it, others faint an hour to it. Church Gist. As He sends His courier rewards you have to be there to sign up or it returns back to courier office. Nobody! “Occupy till I come.” – I’m coming oo but I won’t tell you the day I’m coming. Luke 19:13. “You, occupy till I come.” That’s the contract! I must find you here when I come oo, I must find you on duty when I come. If I don’t find you, good luck!” Angels are always ascending and descending. They say: “We have brought this one back, there’s nobody to take it. We have brought this one back, let’s take another one, let’s go and check whether he’s here; he’s not there. Get it back!”
-May your Fortune package not be returned back to the courier office.
Now, watch!!! We were in the Church office as our home for two years. Two years! One toilet for the Church and for us. The passage was our sitting room so they pass through the passage to go to (the) toilet. Yet, He has shown me the secret of prosperity. That’s okay! It’s like gaining admission to a school you start from class one – 100 level. You can’t start from 400 level because you are old. Amen! My God! And then with all the prosperity revelation, there was the service we had ten naira income. Ten! (Speaking in tongues). “I don’t think this thing is true!” “Well done!” “God is lying.” “Go ahead!” Any apprehension? Zero! Church Gist. You believe God you are at rest! But we are not borrowing, so we are okay. After two years we could rent a house of two thousand naira, not far from Church. As we began to multiply, we were able to rent a house of five thousand. The man said: “Five thousand, five hundred.” I said: “Forget.” Budget ceiling! “Budget ceiling is five thousand. (Laughing). Look for another one, my friend.” You better wake up! He delivers our rewards little by little so we don’t die under it. Thank You Jesus!
Therefore to secure our rewards? Mind these two things sir.
Continue to mind the words of your mouth.
Psalm 34:12-14. People get so angry they talk all kinds of nonsense. “Nothing works here sir. I’m a covenant child but I must tell you the truth, nothing is working.” Psalm 34:13. “Oh boy! I can’t deceive myself, I don’t think this One has the answer to this thing. I don’t think Christ has the answer to this thing.” Psalm 34:14. Church Gist. Romans 3:4. So who are you going to argue (with)? So which court are you going to take God to? Which court? Which judge will judge Him? So why are you trying to do what is not possible? You can do nothing against the truth but for the truth. 2 Corinthians 13:8. Let’s sign up for the truth my friends. Truth is truth! Take it or leave it. Numbers 14:28. “We be not able! We cannot enter here. They will kill us, they will swallow us up!” “Okay! Swallow up!” Those who said: “We are well able, they got in there.”
-And that’s you!
You may ask, how can somebody be exempted in this great time of hunger (and) economic downturn? It has happened before, it’s happening right now. Not everybody is hungry. You are among the people feeding the hungry now. Church Gist. You are the one bringing your food out to give to the hungry. You are the one bringing clothes out to give to the naked. We serve a God of exemption. When you are fervently in the Covenant, your case will be openly different.
In Genesis 47 there was famine, grievous famine. People were offering themselves for sale. That is, you go to the market not to sell something, to sell yourself. “Buy me”. You know, people put on a car, “Buy me”. You now find people putting on themselves, “Buy me. Church Gist. Just buy me for food, I beg you. Buy me, I’m dying. Buy me, anything you want me to do, I’ll be doing it. Just buy me. Guarantee me food. That’s all. Don’t pay me anything. Ebi nkpa mi (I am hungry)” Genesis 47:27. Malachi 3:6. Wake up! Malachi 3:17. Malachi 4:1,2.
Don’t say what they say or you’ll suffer what they suffer. James 3:6. Ecclesiastes 5:6. You can use your mouth to destroy the work of your hand. “It doesn’t work. It can’t work in this Country”. Well done. Have you tried the other Country? If you keep saying the same thing, it won’t work anywhere you go. Proverbs 13:3. “Let me tell you my mind. Church Gist. This Country can never work” Destruction, setting your life on fire. “We can’t survive here oh! We can’t. If it means going through the Desert to get out of this Country, I’m getting out. It’s better to die in the Desert than to die here” Are you hearing? So, he has signed a death warrant. You open your mouth wide, saying anti scriptural things, causing great havoc.
Proverbs 21:23. So, one can trouble his life with his mouth. Now, he’s a tither, he says “I have nothing in Heaven or on Earth. Bi o sen wo mi yi (As you look at me). That’s all I am. There is nothing in Heaven and on Earth” He (God) said “I will open you the windows of Heaven”. Church Gist. He says “There is nothing in Heaven. Ma se tan mi (Don’t deceive me). There is nothing”. The Wife says “Don’t say so”. “I will say so. You think I want to be deceived? I can’t be deceived anymore. All those things they are saying in the Church is deception, complete deception. I’m not saying Papa is deceiving us, but it’s all deception”.
You know, the Lord told me, He said “I’ve made thee a watchman over my flock. Receive A word from me and give them warning” Ezekiel 3:17. You are being warned. Be careful, don’t trouble your life with your mouth. Psalm 19:14. So, mind the meditation of your heart. Mind what you are saying in your heart. God hears your heart as much as He hears your mouth. Church Gist. When Christ was here, He will say “Why are you saying in your heart?” So, He hears your heart. Jeremiah 17:9,10. He hears your heart. Most of the time, our meditations are the barriers on our paths. “I think I should review this my commitment to God. I should review it. It’s telling on me. I’ve been giving transportation seed now oh for…before the Church started” That is, inside his house, he is killing himself. Nobody asked you (to) bring transportation seed. You know you started only one year ago, you said about 9 years ago. He knows. What is your problem?

Mind the thoughts of your heart. They might be the reason for your troubles. Mind the thoughts of your heart against the Truth. One young lady was out there in one of the South West Towns and she said “You know something? Papa cannot eat without the Church paying tithes” The Husband just abandoned her straight, not that the Husband is a believer, with 3 months old child. Church Gist. “Oh God, oh God” God said, “Remember what you said” Ma ba aye ara e je (Don’t destroy your life) You are thinking it inside, God is hearing outside. 1 Samuel 16:7. There is no point playing politics in Church. You better personalize your walk with God. Majority carries no vote in God’s agenda. Habakkuk 2:4.
Hebrews 12:28. Nothing in the whole World pays like serving God acceptably because that’s what makes it highly profitable. Church Gist. Serving God acceptably, serving God in line with the Word, makes it super profitable.
- The days of losses are over in your life!
- None of your time, energy or resources shall be lost again in the name of Jesus!
So mind the thoughts of your heart. Psalm 139:2-4, Jeremiah 17:9-10. Church Gist. So God rewards us not only according to what we do but according to what we say having done what we should do and according to what we think in our hearts.
Lift up your right hand, bless the name of the Lord. Church Gist. Thank you Jesus for showing me the pathway to ever profitable stewardship. Thank you Jesus! Amen!
‘Why is this Church not growing?’ He showed me and we lined up. ‘Show me the secret of Kingdom prosperity.’ He showed me and I lined up. It’s not enough to be shown, it’s important to line up. I like you to go from here saying “I am not indispensable, I am only privileged.” If you didn’t get anything in what I have said, say that to yourself right now. “I am not indispensable, I am only privileged. There are better hundreds at the door to take my place should I ghost.” Church Gist. That will set you into motion. You know why I work the way I work? There are better hundreds than me at the door. I don’t want to abuse the privilege and He has not failed me once.
- You will never know failure anymore!
God never fails people, people only fail God. Church Gist. Can I have you say that with me? God never fails people, people only fail God.
I will show you three avenues through which God warns His people and it takes genuine self examination to embrace His warnings (to see Him as talking to you). You know there are some times you open your Bible and He is saying something against what you are doing, you close it. You go to another one – Psalm 91 (Laughs) – Being insincere to oneself. He just spoke something as soon as you opened your Bible – just like that on your face ‘gbam’, you say no way (flipping to other pages). ‘Father, I thank you, I thank you. I thank you Jesus, I am going to another page.’ Church Gist. There is one of those ancient universities (Christian University) – to thyself, be true (that’s the motto). To what? To thyself! You tell the truth on all matters but concerning yourself, to thyself be true.
Three Avenues Through Which God Warns Us.
- Through the Word. Psalm 19:7-11. Because the last days Church will keep triumphing by embracing the warnings of the Spirit. If you look at Revelation 2 and 3, you will find “whosoever has ears let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church” and all of those were warnings. So the endtime will be filled with warnings to keep us from danger, keep us from wasting our energy, wasting our life. One – through the Word. Church Gist. He warns us by the Word. 2 Timothy 3:16-17…Reproof means warnings. So He warns us by the Word. Please, open up to the warnings of the Word. Don’t argue with the verdicts of Scriptures. Whatever it says no to – no! Whatever it says yes to – yes!
- Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. John 16:13-14. He comes to you and says, “hey, watch it.” Why is nothing working in Kumasi then? “I’m not there.” That’s not from Scriptures, that’s the Holy Spirit – that’s the voice of the Spirit. Revelation 2:7. Why are we having crisis in the Satellite Chapels in Kaduna? “Did I send you?” Church Gist. That’s the Holy Spirit. Acts 21:4. The brethren said to Paul through the Spirit that he should not go up to Jerusalem – danger ahead. Through the Spirit, through the Holy Spirit warning against the things to come.” Acts 20:22-23…He warns! He warns! And Paul was the One who taught “wherever the Spirit of God is, there is liberty.” He forgot.
- Through The Prophets Sent Our Way
Luke 4:25-27. There are prophets sent our way and they are God’s warning agents. Ezekiel 3:17. Church Gist. That is what we are doing here. Paul said “I cease not to warn everyone day and night”. So you have it there.
The most authentic, the most valid warning platform is the Word. So hear the following warnings:
- Beware of carnalities that cause division among the brethren (1 Corinthians 3:1-3)
“I am for Paul” “I am for Apollos” Beware! In your service groups, beware! “It is now our turn” which turn? “We are from Benue. Haven’t you seen it? The chairman and the secretary are from Benue. It is our turn. Church Gist. I thank God at last.” When you are somewhere in another country, “This is a Nigerian Church, all the others are invitees.” Who told you? Nigerian churches are in Nigeria. We are out reaping the harvest of the world. Beware of carnality. It can be very costly. - Beware of spiritual emptiness, it makes you vulnerable to demonic assaults (Matthew 12:41-45).
Beware of spiritual emptiness. Let the Word fill your heart richly. Let light fill your soul and block out every devil from access. Church Gist. Colossians 3:16. Let the Word of God dwell in your heart richly. Avoid spiritual emptiness. - Beware of going on spiritual vacation.
David did at a gruesome cost. At a time when kings go to war, David was on vacation. Then he stood on the roof of his house and saw a woman having her shower and that was what brought Israel war unending. Beware of going on spiritual vacation, a time of no spiritual exercise, no prayer, no praising God, no study of the Word. Beware. An idle mind they say is the devil’s workshop. Church Gist. Doing nothing brings spiritual decadence. By much idleness a building collapses, decays, drops. Ecclesiastes 10:18. So much spiritual decadence because of spiritual vacation. By the time the only time you open your Bible is when you come to Church on Sunday, you are on your way. You are going, going, going, may you not be gone. Soon you start religious display. Beware of spiritual vacation. You may be seen in Church every day but you are on vacation. - Beware of pride.
We are in the days of great things. If you read the book of Dueteronomy 32:9-14, you see God painting the picture of His people as eagles. He made them to ride on the high places of the earth. He made them to eat good things. Deuteronomy 32:15. That’s the danger of exploits. It spurs pride that always leads to a fall. There are too many once-upon-a-time breakthrough testimony, what stops him from breaking through? Something went wrong. “I’ve got what I’m looking for. Bye bye God, see you later”. The endtime Church is a mountaintop Church. Psalm 87:5. Church Gist. We are in the greatest days of the Church, be conscious of the way of pride because pride goes before destruction and a haughty heart before a fall. Proverbs 16:18. 2 Chronicles 26:15-16. And yet, God has vowed to lift His Church above all nations of the earth, how do we survive? We must deal with the cancer of pride, pride from within. Church Gist. Some businessmen have become sudden apostles because they experienced breakthroughs in their business. They start teaching things they don’t know anything about and so breakthrough began to break down. Caution!
- you’re going places oh!
- May you not watch your life to suffer a free fall.

- Beware of evil associations, nobody has ever survived it. Flee! Amnon was the first son of David, the heir apparent but Amnon had a friend by name Jonadaab and Jonadab was the one that counseled them to commit atrocities against his lineage by going into his sister and the end result, killed. Jonadab was the one that went to report that Amnon is dead, “I’m going to look for somebody else”. Church Gist. Beware of evil association, no matter the anointing. He said, “evil communication corrupts good manners”. Beware. 1 Corinthians 15:33. You walk through a room of smokers, you go outside, you’re smoking cigarettes, it’s all over you. Psalm 1:1-3. I prayed all night for God to disconnect me from everyone going nowhere. Church Gist. Jesus, “link me up with only those who are going forward. Make my ears to things that do not edify and my eyes blind to things that do not build up”. He heard me. Psalm 1 was what drove me into there. Church Gist. Many are on the right course but a wrong association just brought them down. Before he knows it, he’s talking like them, he’s thinking like them, he’s lost his stand in God.

Now! Watch!! And I want you to be warned. When the Holy Ghost is making illustrations. You say: “I think it is because of me.” It must be because of you. But I don’t know you, I don’t know what’s going on in your heart. Nobody told me about you. Be careful! He has access to every human secret. Be careful! I told you a story in Kaduna, a family was fighting over suya; Saturday night. And there they came together to Church still fuming. And they heard me make an illustration. Why should a family be fighting over suya? They came to Church together, not one of them saw me before. Church Gist. I had no information from anybody. It was early morning service. At times, you find the Holy Ghost just brings you now and with your name on it. You say: “Ah! Somebody has told Papa.” Because to the impure, nothing is pure. To the defiled, nothing is pure. I said: “Be warned! The way you speak.” You say: “Maybe they told him. You know? He just made the exact illustration with what I told that person yesterday. And I saw that person, he came to Canaan(land). You know how easy (it is) to see me, you should know. You can stay in Canaan(land) for three weeks without setting your eyes on me. I’m not a waka about, I don’t busy myself in other men’s matters, like one of my old men said: “Olofofo ni Holy Spirit.” – He brings out your secret. “Eh! In Jesus’ precious name, we have prayed. Please mind this important statement. Possession does not define godliness. One can have possession and be godless. There are so many of them in town and around the World (who) come bold as scammers, drug barons, thieves. Church Gist. He said: “They think that gain is godliness. “But He went on and said godliness with contentment is great gain.” Amassing of wealth and possession does not connote godliness. You can amass as much as you want, it doesn’t make you godly. But godliness as the foundation will always culminate in great gain. Great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6.

Beware! There is no move of God without casualties.

They all came out of Egypt but many were overthrown in the Wilderness for with them God was not pleased. 1 Corinthians 10:1-12. In the days of the Apostles, Ananias gave up the ghost, Elymas became blind. No move of God without casualties! The greatest move came through Christ and you had the son of perdition by name Judas; he committed su!c!de. Matthew 27:3-5. Church Gist. There’s no move of God without casualties! “Lord! Help me! I must not be a casualty of Your move. This move of Your Spirit must move me forward.” The move of the Spirit is to move us forward not to bring us down! “Lord! Let this move of the Spirit move me forward!” That’s what it was ordained for! Go ahead and pray!

Therefore, stop asking questions such as “Why are they still planting Churches?” What’s paining you there? “Why are they still opening cells? You know something? Most of those cell leaders are not born again” Where did you test them? Beware of kicking against the pricks, it’s a hard thing. Don’t be found talking against the move of God under any condition, it’s risky. Church Gist. Today we have over 40,000 cells in Lagos. Come on, give the Lord praise. “Because the path of the Just is as a shining light that shines more and more” It will soon be doubled, it will soon be tripled. Let every advancement of the Kingdom suit you. Don’t talk against it. “All those miracles oh, they are stage managed. All of them. I know. Okay, why are they teaching on the testimony that somebody gave? They have arranged it”. Ma je ki Olohun pa enu e mo o. (Don’t let God shut your mouth). Don’t let God give you a slap.
Beware of carelessness. People of Laish were careless, they became vulnerable. They invaded them and changed the name of their city, lost it all. Judges 18:7,27-30. Beware of spiritual carelessness. Church Gist. Zephaniah 2:15. Every word that a man would speak, he would pay for it. For we are in the days of strange words and strange acts. Isaiah 28:22. Don’t allow your mouth to come against God lest God comes against you. “Why all these Kingdom advancement things?” You know, it has become things. “Is this what they do in other Churches?” Are we copying what they do in other Churches? We are going with what He sent us to do. Caution! (3x) They said “This Man, is this how we will go forever? That’s what they said last year too. My own is still there” Your disposition is why you are still there. What you’re saying now is what you said last year inside. You said it the year before. A Prophetic Word becomes a mockery to you. Caution! (3x) You can’t partake of anything you mock. Caution! What you don’t celebrate, you dispel. Caution! (5x) “Now, they are building the Ark” He’s a member of the Church oh. Church Gist. “They are building the Ark. Let us see who will fill it” Caution! (2x) If you know arithmetic, it’s already filled. Caution! What is annoying you there now? Caution! “With this economic situation, who will come here?” Caution! (2x) You are the one under economic trouble. Caution! This Church that services 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 people on every Saturday. Caution! From members of the Church who are not in trouble like you. Caution! You have troubled your life enough, come out of it. Come out of it. Those who said, “Let’s watch who will follow them to Canaanland” We don’t know where they are. They are off the radar. Caution! Caution!
Now, you’ll pray a prayer. Psalm 141:3. “Set a watch, Oh Lord, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips” Shall we read it together?

God is not a democrat. Everyone is absolutely responsible for the outcome of his life. Church Gist. You are absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life. Help me Jesus! In Jesus precious name we have prayed!
Now hear this. Paul said, “I hear some horrible things that are going on in your midst. Be warned!” Year ago, a pastor was transferred and members of the Church were telling him “this transfer is a demotion. Don’t take it. Start your ministry, we will back you up.” Ah! Members of the Church “ki lo’nwa ni be” (what are you looking for there?) Don’t procure wahala for your life.
When God sent me here, I said, “if no one comes, I will come. Me and God will be here.” Somebody asked me, “how will they get here, especially the elderly people?” I said, “well, if they can’t, it means our ministry to them is over. Church Gist. They can find any other Church so they can remain in the faith. We are not ‘heeee’. Caution, my friend! Caution!
“Why is he always ministering at Faith Tabernacle?” ‘Maje ki Olorun gba o lenu o’ (Don’t let God slap you). He told me “stay over this Church with me. It’s my covenant with you for a lifetime as we continue to reap the harvest of the World together. Church Gist. As you pastor this one Church, the whole World will become your parish for I have appointed you to serve your generation.” You can’t tell what He told me. Be careful! “Maje ki enu re b’aiye ara re ke” (Don’t let your mouth destroy your life). Be careful!
I have come with a prophetic seal this morning with an eagerness to rescue you. The things you say have been responsible for a lot of woes in your life. Caution! “That our chairman is a stupid man. I don’t know how he became the chairman. Chairman of what? He’s not born again.” Church Gist. You know why? He wanted to be chairman, they didn’t make him. That’s all. They didn’t make him. “That secretary is a witch.” That means you are a witch doctor who can tell what a witch is. It’s doctors who know what is wrong with anybody.
You must be a witch doctor to know who is a witch. “Ki lo’nwa” (What are you looking for?)
- Now, in the name of Jesus, every area anyone may have caused himself trouble by the thoughts of his heart, by the words of his mouth, careless association, careless stewardship, be loosed in the name of Jesus!
If you know you have said anything in your life that may be responsible or thought any evil thought, ask Him to forgive you. Ask Him to forgive you in your privacy. Secure His forgiveness. Church Gist. When God forgives a man, nobody can stand the way. God does not require anybody’s input to forgive you and me. Seek His forgiveness and come in the right path. Make straight path for your feet.
“You know, how much books he sells? How won’t he talk about prosperity?” Shut up! I am yet to receive a first dime from books. My wife has not received a dime from books. Church Gist. I have been publishing since 1985, I didn’t know you then. It’s a covenant between me and God. I buy my books to give as gifts. (Speaks in tongues) I don’t need your commendation but I don’t want you to suffer condemnation. Don’t suffer condemnation by the words of your mouth.
This Church has just started growing. Our Churches worldwide, we have just started growing. The next phase will be satan tormenting and it’s happening now!

So from pastorate to Church eldership, deaconship, membership – caution! Caution! Church Gist. Let God commend you. He will promote you. Stop commending yourself. When you hit the mark, it will show.
