Welcome to the Blessing Sunday of the month of March; it is our month of financial blessing overflow and I believe that you won’t leave this month empty-handed.
Speaking on:
THE GOD OF THE OVERFLOW.
Our objective is to understand the overflow dimension of God and also to understand the secrets of the overflow.
Psalm 23:1-6
Two things we want to say by way of introduction:
1). We serve the God of overwhelming, overflowing abundance (Psalm 50:10-11). God is the Owner of the earth (Psalm 24:1), He is the Owner of the silver and the gold (Haggai 2:8-9). Church Gist.
- Your own portion of silver and the gold, this month; it shall rush into your direction!
2). We serve the God of excess without stress. I’m using directly the words of God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo; “excess without stress” (Ephesians 3:19-20).
God does not do just what is enough; He always does more than enough. Everything about creation is excess; look at the water bodies of the earth, look at the great ocean; the Pacific, the Atlantic – the whole world is more like water that has pieces of land inside. Church Gist. If you ever fly in the air maybe transatlantic or intercontinental, you will just see the earth; the nations like little land masses inside massive ocean bodies. He could have just poured the little water here and there but He doesn’t know how to do ordinary things; He does it excessive.
Look at the mountains everywhere; He could have just put some little pieces of elevations here and there but He made the Mount Everest, the Mount Kilimanjaro; all the mountains of the earth. Look at the desert; do you know that there are over 9,000 to 10,000 species of animals, not just animals – species of birds – only birds, that is 9,000 to 10,000 groupings of birds. Each group has its own subtypes. So if you come to the eagle for example, you are having over 60 subtype of eagles. That is, out of that 1,000, under it you have other types. If you come to the cat family; you are then dealing with the domestic cat, the Tigers, the leopards, the lions and you have different types under the species. By the time you multiply the different subtypes, you are having millions of different animal types.
What an abundant God we serve and many of us are limiting this God with our micro mentality. We are limiting this God in our lives with our plastic mentality and He’s telling somebody, you need an elastic mentality. Church Gist. You need to enlarge your mind; you need to see beyond the unknowns and see beyond your environment. We serve a mega, mega, mega, megalocious God and that God is about to do something massive in your life and family in this season!
I want someone to be provoked here today; do you know the size of space? If you come to star, let me just tell you about stars; there are stars that vary in size. The neutron star is between 20 – 40 kilometers in diameter. The one that is called the small dwarf is about the size of the earth. The group of stars; the largest, supergiant, that one is 1,500 times the size of the sun. Church Gist. Do you know the total number of the stars? Average, 200, billion, trillion (200 sextillion). That is, write 200 and put 21 zeros behind (200, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000). That is the number of one segment of the Universe. That is the God that we are talking about. If that is the God you serve; who have the capacity to bring all these out of Himself, then what is His size?
If I were you, I will make up my mind that I refuse to think little another day of my life. I refuse to think small; I refuse to live small another day of my life!
I don’t know about you but I cannot be small, my generation cannot be small. I am moving into overflow dimensions; everything about my life, my family and destiny must be large, must be mega, must be massive!
Many times, when we say, “I will soon follow you to dedicate your aircraft; some people will just be looking at other people and say, “I am not the one they are talking about. I’m looking for where to sleep, you are talking of aircraft.” Church Gist.
You don’t know who you are; you don’t know who made you, you don’t know your potentials, possibilities and capabilities; that is why you talking like that.
- Very soon, we shall be dedicating somebody’s refinery and dedicating somebody’s 5,000 – unit housing estate!
When God made man, He gave him dominion over the birds of the earth, over the fishes of the sea. Let me tell you the size of those fishes; the one called blue whale; its veins are big enough for you to swim inside. It has the heart that is the size of the car. No, wonder it swallowed Jonah. The tail is the size of an aircraft and it is inside the ocean, that is inside the earth, that is under your feet.
Look at your neighbor and say, “Something is changing right now; my mind is changing right now. Everything is changing in my mind right now. I refuse to be little, I refuse to be small; everything around me must expand, must enlarge, must increase!”
What kind of God is this? He doesn’t know how to do small things.
You are going to lay hands on your mind and correct it;
“Every limitation on my mentality, every limitation in my thinking, every limitation in the way I see things; today, I command you to be correct. I command my mind to be correct in Jesus’ name!
God does not know how to do little things. Some of you have messengers in your house; you have a cook, a driver, a gardener etc. Do you know the number of messengers that surround God per time?
Revelation 5:11
“… and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand (that is one billion already) and thousands of thousands (that is a million).” When you multiply that, you have one quintillion angels, that is 1 with 18 zeros (1, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000) around God. Church Gist.
Why are you beating your chest that you have five servants? They call you a big man because you have twenty servants; you can have a workforce of a million people, working in your organization and you haven’t started yet and God has the wisdom to coordinate that number. So, you have the wisdom to coordinate a workforce of a million people because God made you in His image.
Lift your hands and say; “My mind is changing. I serve the God of the overflow; everything about my life must overflow!”
Listen to me; it is too late for the devil to hold down what is yours, what belongs to the Church in this end time, what belongs to your life and your destiny.
- I announce by the mandate of God upon my life; apostolic and prophetic mandate; the systems are coming under pressure, they shall lose their peace, sleep and rest until everything that is yours enters into your hands, until everything that belongs to us in this end time for the massive harvest of souls, for the agenda of God in our generation, until they enter our hands in the name of Jesus!
Let us look at overflow in scripture;
1). Overflow during the construction of the tabernacle in the wilderness. During that construction, the God of the overflow showed up.
Exodus 36:5-7; Excess without stress – you are looking for one billion and there was ten billion in your possession, in your resources. Church Gist. You are looking for a house and you got a hundred houses. They were looking for one thing and they got it in excess abundance.
- That shall be your portion in the name of Jesus Christ!
2). Overflow by the Covenant (Leviticus 26:8-10). We are talking about a situation where your store in the kitchen is not enough to handle your supplies; “…you will have to throw away what is left of the old supply to make room for the new.”
One day I released about 200 – 300 suits at once and distributed them as mantles and my wife too, because we wear the same thing, so she has to give out. Now, it’s not because you have enough money to buy them; they are flowing like water. There is no place to keep many of them anymore, not that you went to buy them. There are some that are not my size that was brought; one suit that they brought one day was as large as a large hanger, extra, extra-large and shoes. Church Gist. Thank God, God brought an American that was equal to the suit, both in height, weight and capacity. When the man wore the suit, he said, “as if they measured me.” As I’m talking now, fresh shoes are coming and all those kinds of things are coming, there are some, you have not worn for the first time in five years. Not that you are looking for these things or pressing for them or struggling for them; you are pursuing God and the things are pursuing you.
- Somebody will begin to open multiple accounts because of what God is about to send your way!
“You will have such a surplus of crops that you won’t know what to do with them when the new harvest is ready (TLB).
You won’t know what to do with them, that is, something is coming your way that by the time God is through with you; abundance came and almost came with confusion – you don’t know how to direct them.
- Under the next seven days, this experience shall begin to happen for somebody!
Look at your neighbor and say; “Get ready, something is coming unusually, abundantly, abnormally!
3). The overflow gold that looked for Solomon. There are people who look for things and there are people in this covenant, things look for them (1 Kings 10:14-24). People are looking for tiny gold; “this my gold earrings and necklace” and Solomon said, soldier, take gold; hold this shield of gold. That is, what people are killing themselves to get, somebody gave it to soldiers free of charge as armour.
Ephesians 3:20
- God is about to do something and that thing is about to change the world because we are going to use the means of God to reach our generation and depopulate hell and populate Heaven and show the devil, that Heaven and earth is the Lord’s, that our Father is the Owner of the Universe!
- There is somebody here today, God is going to use you to surpass everyone in your field, every contemporary in your realm!
4). The overflow for the widow of Zarephath (the unfinishable meal of the widow of Zarephath) – 1 Kings 17:13-15
5). The overflow oil for the prophet’s widow (2 Kings 4:1-7). The problem is not with the oil; the problem is with the vessel. Church Gist. For as long as vessels are available, the oil will continue to flow.
It is never an issue with God to make supplies available; it is always an issue with man, whether he has the capacity to receive what God is releasing – overflow.
6). Overflow of food at the gate of Samaria (2 Kings 6:25, 2 Kings 7:1-10).
7). Overflow on the battlefield – the miracle of supernatural financial overflow on the battlefield (2 Chronicles 20:25-26). It was a battlefield that turned into a harvest field. The word Berachah means blessing – “we came into this valley of battle that has turned into a valley of the blessing and this is prophetic for somebody; God is saying to you;
- In the place of your battle, you shall come out with the blessing!
Say after me;
“My battlefield is becoming my harvest field!”
8). Overflow from the Shepherd (Psalm 23:1-6). There are things that God will not do; many of us have prayed and wish that some enemies should die, but God is saying they shouldn’t die because He wants them to witness somethings before they die.
There are enemies that will die in a hurry and there are those that will wait a little bit, so that they can see that you got married, so that they can see that you got your children, you became what God wanted you to become, you manifested that auction, that mantle that they say you will never be able to manifest.
- I announce to somebody here today, what the devil said you cannot become, you have already become it, you shall become it, you are becoming it in the name of Jesus and it will not happen in their absence, it will happen in their presence!
9). Overflow at the Lake of Gennesaret (Luke 5:1-10), the net-breaking, ship sinking breakthrough.
- I don’t know who is here today, you are at the end of yourself and you have almost written yourself off, God is picking you up and changing your story and turning your life and destiny around!
10). Overflow at the wedding in Cana of Galilee (John 2:1-11).
11). Overflow in the feeding of the multitudes in the wilderness (John 6:9-13). How do you start with five loaves and two fishes and end with twelve baskets? He ended beyond where He started. Church Gist.
- God is about to take somebody by surprise!
- What is in your hand that is not enough for you; by the time you put that in the hands of God and God had shown you what to do, you will be shocked at what will come out of your life!
12). Overflow resources with the Master Jesus despite Judas (John 12:4-6).
Jesus gave Judas the money; “take thief, steal it and let me see how you can finish it. Let me test your thiefhood; let me test your stealing capacity, if you like, if they bring 100 million today, spend all of it today; you won’t finish it before another 200 million arrives.” There’s a saying in our place that if you give witch your child to hold, then if the child has fever, you know who caused it.
- Jehovah is bringing us to the point where no witch, no devil can finish what God will do!
The thief is satan the devil (John 10:10).
- I don’t know who I am prophesying to today; no devil will ever finish your God given resources another time!
- No power from hell will ever crash you down!
Say after me;
“In the name of Jesus, no devil, no power from hell will ever finish my God given resources another time in the name of Jesus!
- God is about to cause you to enter into the realm of fortune; resources that no devil can ever finish!
WHAT ARE SECRETS OF THE OVERFLOW?
1). The vision and revelation of the overflow, coming to the point where you can see it and you can perceive it that there is more to life than what you have seen so far (Genesis 13:14-15, Deuteronomy 29:29).
The limit of revelation is the limit of possession. Church Gist. God has far beyond what your mind is thinking. Mental limitation must give way for you if you must experience resources explosion.
2). Connection to divine instruction. God is the One who knows where your overflow is, so He is the One who can tell you where to pour your energy, time and resources to experience the overflow (Job 22:21-25, John 2:6-7, Luke 5:4, Genesis 26:2, Genesis 12:1).
Many of us, we are looking for money in the wrong places; we are looking for things that God has not given us. God has given you something, all you need is for God to show you what He has given you. That realm and dimension will come as you study the Word, as revelation in the dream of the night, as an inspiration but there is something God is saying. People are trying to do what they think gave other people success and they become very frustrated, no! Don’t live your life by trial and error; live your life by direct instruction and leading from God. Don’t live your life by what you think is making others successful; live your life by what God is saying to you. Let God speak to you.
- I prophesy, divine direction and instruction is coming for somebody!
- God is going to show you what you should do that will change your life and story and give you a testimony!
- There are some young people here, before you are 30 years, you are already in your millions and billions!
- There are some people here, people think you are through with your active years, you are in retirement but Abraham became something after the age of 75, government may retire you but don’t retire your life; refire!
We were at the special Holy Ghost service the other night with God’s servant, Papa Oyedepo and Daddy Adeboye and there was a little session to appreciate his life and God’s servant, Bishop Oyedepo said to him; “you are 80 years now, but you should understand that that was the starting point for Moses, so we are in agreement with you that you are about to start now” and Baba laughed.
- Whatever category you have found yourself, I am here to announce to you; your possibilities, no devil shall arrest them!
Let me talk to some retirees here; when you were in active service, you had no time for yourself. Now, you have 24 hours to yourself to do squarely what you would have loved to be doing all these years, so deploy the whole of your energy; if you fail, you will not hold the devil, government or anybody responsible but yourself because you have your time now. Church Gist. There were things you wanted to do but commitment to official work couldn’t allow you. Now you are on your own; you hit the road running.
- I announce to somebody; everything that is a limitation in your life and destiny, the limitation is collapsed now!
Don’t let pension deceive you; let it be pocket money, let it be change. Let your pension be equal to one minute allowance – your income of one minute should be about that pension. My aim this morning is to provoke your mind.
“In the name of Jesus, my life is changing: everything about me is changing and no devil can stop me!”
3). Absolute, unquestionable obedience.
What is obedience?
a). Obedience is compliance with an order, request or law.
b). Obedience is submission to another’s authority (Deuteronomy 28:1-3).
Obedience in what?
i). Lifestyle and character. If you want the blessing of God in your life, your lifestyle and character must be in order (Job 22:21-25).
ii). Obedience in Kingdom service (Exodus 23:25). Don’t sit in church and do nothing, don’t watch things happen and you are not involved in the happenings.
iii). Obedience in soul winning assignment. God is about to raise billionaires in all currencies in evangelism (Luke 22:35).
Many times my wife is travelling or somebody is travelling and this is as far back as 21 years ago; “Pastor, Sir, what can I buy for you?”
Response: “I’m not aware of anything to buy for me. There may be but I am not aware right now.”
My wife will say, okay I’ll use my initiative to buy anything I think you’ll need.
You come to the point where you are so busy and passionate for God that either you forgot that you have needs or the needs don’t exist. Church Gist. There are people who have asked me for account number, I refused to send because I say, I don’t know them. I don’t know you, supposing you are a thief and they traced your money to my account, I don’t know you. There are people who have been under pressure, Pastor, please I need your account number.
Response: I’m coming, let me feel led.
You are on assignment for God and God is on assignment for you. All the things I’ve preached before, they amounted to nothing if you are not on assignment for God.
iv). Covenant practice of sowing and reaping. If you are not a tither and you are not a giver; you will never be able to access the abundance of God (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). Overwhelming abundance answers to overwhelming obedience.
- There are people in time to come, you will be able to build up to ten churches in one month as part of your covenant practices. That is apart from tithe and offerings!
We are going to Ghana in two weeks’ time, we are going to Calabar in another week and the schedule continues; we are going to Cameroon next month, the United Kingdom in June, America in July and they are calling everywhere; come to Namibia, everywhere is calling right now and there are some of you; you will say, can you give me the crusade cost for one year? Church Gist. You know we do not take offerings in the crusades; give me the crusades cost for one year.
Those are the kinds of things you should be thinking of to do with the money. There are some of us here, you say; “Lord, I am trusting You for one billion dollars and if it enters your hand, you don’t need to think of how it will go, it’s already calculated.” How the devil will cry because of the money that entered your hand, not in the hand of a terrorist sponsors or drug baron but in the hand of a Kingdom promoter and advancer.
The time will come shortly, we’ll have ten places at once; you know how we are going to do that? We’ll do a broadcast from one place and then, the Stadium will be filled in ten places at the same time and then, we are preaching from here and ministering fire from one spot and healings are taking place; blind eyes are seeing everywhere, cripples are running everywhere and the testimony is coming from all the places at the same time.
That is how it is to be done for this earth to be overwhelmed and listen to me, for many seated here, no devil shall stop what God is sending your way!
Listen, a masquerade that will know how to dance, you identify it by his walking steps. The man who can give ten million dollars out of one hundred million dollars, you will know how he gives out of ten naira today. There are people lying to God and are saying, if you give me this, I’ll give You that. Church Gist. God is saying, “I’m already trying you at the level where you are.” You said your needs are so much, you can’t do anything now, you will never be able to do anything when the money comes.
There is a Parkinson’s law that states, the needs will increase proportionate to supply. If you cannot do somethings now, you will never be able to do somethings when the big money comes, so start from where you are. Show God that billionaire will not stop you from roadside evangelism. Church Gist. By the mercies of God, God has helped us to preach anywhere and be in the company of the topmost giants of the Gospel in the world; rulers, political people, governmental people, billionaires, yet you will see us on the street evangelizing
God wants you to show Him that by the time He makes you, His making of you won’t take you to hell, won’t make you too big for church and to win souls.
HOW DO OBEY GOD:
1). Obey promptly. Those who wait for perfect conditions will never get anything done (Ecclesiastes 11:4).
2). Obey excitedly (Deuteronomy 28:47)
3). Obey willingly
4). Obey tirelessly (Galatians 6:9). “I’ve been preaching and evangelislzing but nothing has changed!” Keep on preaching and evangelizing
5). Obey completely (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
2 Chronicles 16:9
God is under pressure, looking for who He will prove Himself to; He’s looking for somebody through whose life He will show the world His goodness, abundance and massiveness; “I am under pressure, give me the chance to show the world what I can do.”
Isaiah 61:9 – I want people to see you and know you that I have helped you.
Malachi 3:8 – Don’t rob God of the opportunity to show you what He can do
- You will do well!
- This year cannot pass until God has proved Himself in your life!
Lift up your two hands and appreciate God for what you have received.
PRAYERS:
- Father, I ask You for the vision and revelation of the overflow; open my eyes, my ears and my understanding to see and know that You are the God of the overflow, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, I ask for Your instruction and direction; Father, show me where my overflow is and where my resources are, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, I receive the grace to obey; I receive the grace to carry out Your instructions and Your commands, I receive that grace now.
